I'm new to the game, bought all the decks yesterday to play with wife, nephews and nieces, I like the videos all around youtube, people are already invested in the game! As a new player, I'd like to see the rarity of the cards when you show them on screen, just to get to know the cards better and wonder if I'm gonna chase some copies of it!
I just picked up the Amber/Sapphire Tactical Teamwork starter deck and about 150 cards-worth in boosters. I pulled a foil Hercules and Megara which decided my second deck of Emerald/Steel. I pulled Queen of Hearts and Ursula which set my third deck in Amethyst/Ruby. As I learn, play and collect I'm sure things will change and I would like to build an Amethyst/Sapphire deck. Gotta admit if I keep pulling Dalmations I may just have to build a deck for them. Possibly with cruella lol. Characters are not color-locked which is nice but it will complicate accessibility to theme if since decks are limited to color-pairing or monocolor construction. I'm curious if there will a format for all color building. It would make thematic construction possible. I may have to build a personal cube of sorts for a couple all-color thematic singleton dueling decks.
I’m going to have to learn this game just so I have an excuse to listen to you :) ok, kidding aside, I was a long time magic player, left the game and sold my collection to buy a house and start a family. Lorcana may be something I can play with my 5 year old.
My favorite card from Into the inklands for Amber is: Perdita, devoted mother. With a cost of 6 it takes a while for her to appear however her 《6》 fortitude and 2 Lore makes a sturdy dalmatian however the OP skill "come along children" allows her to summon a 《2》cost character from discard for free when she is summoned AND every time she quests.
unfortinatly in belgium we cant even buy booster packs, rondom people buy everything to resell for high prices, it is realy unfair. they ask 250 - 300 euro for a boosterbox , the only thing i got my hands on where 2 starterdecks. i hope everyone got more luck then me
I hear mixed reviews about the game, and I get the impression that those who like it are biased because they are Disney fans. I'm only interested in Lorcana purely from gameplay aspect, and what I heard is that it lacks depth and complexity. For it costs, I don't know if it's worth investing in it.
This is from our experience playing a lot of Lorcana together and in local leagues! Obviously everyone might have different styles of play but out of all of us we've found these cards especially good - Maddie

Another to add is Action - Grab Your Sword. 2 Damage to all opponents characters.
I am as well I just wish I had someone to play with in real life. Been playing on untap.
