Great list! Me and some friends were talking about this the other day and I think the hardest colors to narrow down the staples for are Sapphire and Steel. I think the other colors are pretty clear choices and you nailed it! Sapphire and steel tho I think there is an argument for SO many cards that it’s so hard to narrow down.

@@SorcerersHat yea I think our were Sapphire: One Jump, Tipo, Quil (bc not every sapphire deck is an item deck but they all are a ramp deck) Steel: AWNW, Zeus, and then we all had a different 3rd. Sad Beast, Robinhood, Let the Storm Rage On, and Giant Tinker Bell are all coin flips for that slot in our opinion
Yeah, hopefully there is some kind of reprint set coming in the future, or just another reprint entirely. They've reprinted it so many times and it hasn't seemed to stop the demand.
Agreed, I just learned this TCG existed like 3 weeks ago, and it's so painful looking at trying to get anything (outside single cards) from The First Chapter.
Yes I just started looking into this game and I already realized that you cannot buy anything related to the first chapter from direct vendors. It's only been a year and a half, that's ridiculous... And of course all the best cards are from that set. I was ready to start playing the game and collecting cards but it really killed it for me. What's the point if at any point in time we can only get and play the cards that were released in the last year. How are we supposed to make viable decks when you cannot access many mandatory cards ? And I'm in Europe (not UK) so the second hand market is really more limited and expensive, to get 4 Rapunzel or Maui would cost me more than 100€, if I can find them, only 56 cards to go... :(
It was a difficult choice but I think I landed on card draw just being really really important. Not to say Goat isn't amazing cause it is, but that's part of the challenge of a list like this, is to find absolute essentials.
