Yeah, the way most people play quickly, I feel i can't learn. And I think I could only reliably play on a Automated digital setting. Like the old pokemon card game app, had automated parts so you knew what to do, and it helped keep you from forgetting certain card traits and things to do. Would love a digimon card game app, I love digimon too and wish I had a way to play with others from long distances
Great production! Really surprised to see that the game mechanics do not reinvent the wheel but are nice and elegant and blend into the theme ... Will be looking forward to play this with my kids and wife :)
Me and mife just played the first 2 phases of the gateway set. Have to admit I enjoyed this card game a lot more than I thought. Yalls video made learning the game flow ever easy. Thank you.
Having watched a bunch of matches where most people don't showcase or explain the cards as played, Lorcana has been a bit of a struggle to watch. Then I found out some of my favourite Commander players have a Lorcana channel, and I finally follow what's going on
I realy love your channel. I hope for many more videos since it's always great and entertaining. I learned playing this game through your channel. Thanks and greetings from Germany.
I've been enjoying your Magic Commander content and now I see you're doing Lorcana, which is awesome! The Amber/Amethyst starter is really good since you can just flood the board with characters and there's really only 1 card in the entire three starter decks that can deal with it (Grab Your Sword). I can't wait to see more episodes! This was cool to see.
They're experienced Magic players who are used to playing creatures with summoning sickness. That said, it would be helpful to new players visually to see which characters are dried.
What is the lore behind lorcana? I feel like this is a war in the Magic Kingdom, with Mickey on one side trying to harness the ink in his world to create and make peace, and a foe on the other side (Oswald perhaps?) Using Ink to conquer and control. Saying that if we wind up eventually with evil versions of heroes and heroic versions of villians (just imagine Hades as one of the good guys! Or even JAFAR!), That would be an amazing twist.
As a causual player can you just play with starter decks. I have no intrest in deck building. Are the starter decks so far balanced to play against each other?
You can! We play with them all the time. And lots of people at local stores too too. But I would say they would not be good enough for competitive game play.
Im watching videos so I can teach my wife how to play. She is a Disney nut. The game looks simple and fun. Just wondering how cut throat the deck tech can get outside the pre cons.
Omg thank you! I was hoping not to be the only one to have seen it. Looks like she forgot that challenger doesn't trigger on defense because she thought Aurora would die by attacking Maleficient.
The only thing that doesn’t make a lot of sense is the “attacking” card taking damage from the “target” card despite the target card having lower willpower than the attacking cards attack power.
They deal damage instantly to eachother. Lorcana is all about limiting or maximizing questing. So damage falling off means big characters just stick around and would be less competitive
Love how you guys make it super easy to follow , a lot of other tcg channels just rush through the games I easily lose track
Thank you! We know the game is new so trying to repeatedly use all terms and help everyone become familiar. ❤

Welcome to the channel! We are glad you found us.
Awesome first gameplay episode! This is great for me since I haven't bought the starter decks yet and I could see how they are played. Thanks!
Really enjoy your guys's chemistry together! And I am learning a lot about gameplay!!
Really great quality production! Well done :)
Starter deck matches needs to be more of a thing! Awesome vid. Was interesting to see who won >=)
We have the enew decks coming soon!

they're not using sleeves.......they're not using sleeves!!!!!!!
I’ve notified the authorities!
*Hyper ventilates!!*
Back when I first started playing magic we used rubber bands to hold naked magic decks together
@@PrestonMcgillOMG REAL 😂😂
That PowerLine sweatshirt is clean! Thanks for the video!
❤i think this game convinced me that i might be interested in playing. Great match
Really enjoyed this battle. Awesome job guys!
Awesome channel and vid, I was able to learn how to play :)
This is too cute, veggie first Lorcana game, friends on the other side.
I just recently got into Lorcana and I really do enjoy it, I'm eager for a online release, maybe for mobile and PC
Super clear thanks!!!!
This is one of the best videos to learn how to play!
Thank you as a noob that just bought first starter decks to play with me kids
Damn that second game comeback was impressive
Enjoyed ya game play, as a long time CCG/TCG player I found it very informative and easy to follow long.
Amazing video, keep up the good work guys 🎉😊❤
Not gonna lie, I cracked up like a child when Zbexx said: ''I'm gonna grab your sword''!!
She played so well but got tilted g2 lol but I love this content and am looking so forward to playing and learning this game
Loved this as a noob to the game!
Great lorcana battle video.
Not a clue how to play, but looks cool
It was the Be Prepared reference for me 😏
What app they using?
fun to watch
What's the name of the app for the quest counter???
It's an official app for Lorcana.
great video for a beginner like me
so if you pass your turn completely you dont get to draw an extra card? seems interesting because card draw seems like massive problem
Are they playing with a single starter deck each or multiple?
Just one. :)
Why dont they keep the characters drying back a little versus the dried characters?
They're experienced Magic players who are used to playing creatures with summoning sickness. That said, it would be helpful to new players visually to see which characters are dried.
I am surprised 2nd game veggie still won even after the catch up was high!

Something funny here clues about face cards for ae86
Do you HAVE to put something in the ink well every turn?
No you don't! :)
As a causual player can you just play with starter decks. I have no intrest in deck building. Are the starter decks so far balanced to play against each other?

HOMEBOY DRAWNS LIKE A CHAMP
Round 1 - FIGHT!!!
Easy sub
Thank you!
I thought each time you add ink you had to wait to play the ink? I see you add ink and use it right away
Ink can ready the turn you put it in the well. No need to wait like with characters.
Im watching videos so I can teach my wife how to play. She is a Disney nut. The game looks simple and fun. Just wondering how cut throat the deck tech can get outside the pre cons.
Fire the cannons maleficent then attack with aurora drfacilier easy plus
Omg thank you! I was hoping not to be the only one to have seen it. Looks like she forgot that challenger doesn't trigger on defense because she thought Aurora would die by attacking Maleficient.
Great that CoolStuffInc is sponsoring . But everything is out of stock
All stores are struggling with product atm. Please give them another try on monday when the 2nd round of product goes out to stores.
Game looks fun. But no way i’ll get my mtg friends to play it. Probably ask my little cousin if he wants to play
Draw power is so important
The only thing that doesn’t make a lot of sense is the “attacking” card taking damage from the “target” card despite the target card having lower willpower than the attacking cards attack power.
No it makes sense because characters shouldn’t be questing for lore too many times since it’s the easiest way to win.
They deal damage instantly to eachother. Lorcana is all about limiting or maximizing questing. So damage falling off means big characters just stick around and would be less competitive
“I will alter my hand”.. mulligan… it’s a mulligan…
!rigged. !superrigged. Great games to watch.
NEVER NEVER NEVER ink Gramma, its a huge misplay.
Wow he destroyed her that second game. Lol
RUles say to Alter hand THEN determine first player.
Everyone working hard not to use magic terms that are much simpler and already ingrained.
I think all the normal magic terms are copyrighted or trademarked so no one can use them.
I know right. Tapping cards makes more sense than exerting them.
Did this channel die? Haven't had any videos from the new set that was just released??? This channel just died.
We didnt die. It is just a side project for us, so we only create content when we can. We all have normal jobs and do not live near each other.
I think its dumb to have to show what card you put into the ink well. It really does nothing to enhance the game.
It makes sure that people are not cheating by putting uninkable card into the well.
She made some poor choices each game. Could have won.
Game 1 she should’ve developed her brain. Otherwise good games.
Girl players is Princess 😍😘😉
