    A STAR STUDDED TRIBUTE TO EDDIE MONEY (March 21, 1949 - September 13, 2019)
    Tonight Eddie’s family and friends gather to pay tribute to a life well-lived and a talent unsurpassed. Sammy Hagar, James Hetfield, George Thorogood & Waddy Wachtel, John Waite, Mickey Thomas, Kevin Cronin & Dave Amato of REO Speedwagon, Greg Kihn and Tommy Tutone are among the evening’s featured performers.
    To Benefit MusiCares & The USC Eddie Money Cancer Research Fund.
    Such regrets I never saw Eddie Money live. Would have been a great show for sure.

      Yeah and if he returns to Metallican't, it'll all turn to shit once Lars lays into him. So I hope he's wise enough to go through his healing process, and leave Metallica behind. Much like Slayer did. Few more shows then DONE. People would have SO much more respect if this would happen. Then LARS can't do what he wants with the band.

      Oh that he sure has entered legendary status. IMOO when he did the bridge benefit concert. His performed of 'In my life' that sure earned him the legend status. Man he was awesome as. I love the guy as a musician and as a man and human being. Weirdly enough him and I have gone through a lot of similar circumstances in our life's journey. Him and I in all honestly wouldn't want other people to feel sorry for us. All we would like is that others respect and be a real person and not someone 'fake as' being who enjoys playing mind games with us. I'd love to do a duet or a few song performance with James. His daughter, Cali is a pretty good singer. She has James musical abilities. Same as Myles Ulrich has Lars's drumming skills in Justice era. Man they got to be so proud of their kids. I have a daughter who has a good singing voice. Music is in my veins and genes.

    • @LeopardJoy
      @LeopardJoy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Serious answer... I never said he "dedicated" the song to his wife. But just who do you suppose he sang this song so passionately for, other than his wife for 20+years? ffs

    • @LeopardJoy
      @LeopardJoy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the only one James calls "Baby" is his wife. And it's so obvious... which is why I found your question and follow up comment frankly ridiculous. Read the lyrics to the song (or listen even) and then maybe learn something about the incredibly supportive relationship James has with his wife.

    • @LeopardJoy
      @LeopardJoy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And the "tribute" part is one musician paying tribute to another musician by playing their music/ songs. It's not singing the song TO the person, which is what I'm speaking about. This thread is also about James' first public performance after being in rehab since last Sept. Coincidentally his first public performance was at Eddie Money's tribute concert. I find it odd that you come on here to argue with me, but have nothing to say about James' performance (and my thought is you don't follow Metallica, and know nothing about James and Francesca or that this was his first performance since rehab. I won't respond further to someone so misinformed. And you're blocked, ok?

    James always struck me as guy who would be better suited as a president of a Hells Angels chapter, instead of a singer in a rock band. But here he is. Well done. I loved Eddie Money.

    I saw Metallica for the first and only time in 2009. I was 16 and knew i couldn't miss seeing them live. I didn't think they would be touring much longer because they were getting pretty old at the time. Boy was i wrong! It was the best concert ever! I paid over 200$ for nosebleeds with a few of my friends and it was so worth it!!!! I hope to see them again. I'm happy for James' health and i pray for him!

      I'm 42 years old. I have loved the band Metallica since I was 11 years old. I have related more to the lyrics of mr. James Hetfield for 31 years now. He is the only musician / entertainer that I would ever be devastated for if we lose him. As far as I'm concerned James Hetfield is Metallica!

      Christian 78 it really suits him as he’s older now I think, trying to be thrash after the 90s stuff just sounds too forced and well let’s face it, they perfected thrash in the 80s.

      No way. I would love to see them all grow their hair (or what's left of it) back and show all these punk kids what real thrash is all about. They helped invent it. It flows through their veins whether they want it to or not.
