You both did an amazing job transforming that space. Plenty of space to setup that next rack you've got on the way and look forward to all the future videos.
Hey guys. I have a suggestion for you're dead lift platform. A couple things, a 5 inch solid white oak painted frame around the whole platform with a nice gentle slope to avoid stubbing your toe and tripping on it. When it's not use strap it and have a hoist for overhead storage. Or if you can spare wall space, store it vertically and flip it down when in use. Or leave it in 3 pieces for easy storage
Of course Wynie stole the show. Her confidence even when not knowing exactly what the item number is was hilarious. And the way you looked at the camera when she was talking about the Rogue Adjustable Bench was funny.
1. More Wynie please. 2. Wynie told me to subscribe so I did. 3. Yes get rid of the wood deadlift platform…. And get a ROGUE deadlift platform… love the channel.
Merry Christmas to you and Wynie and your family 🎄🎄🎄! I just received the Ironmaster bench for Christmas this morning , and Winnie is right about the weight of the benches. I’m still in the beginnings of my workouts , and good thing this bench has wheels and a handle! Seat is hard for my bottom and kinda hurts my bone a little ,but nothing I can’t deal with . Thought the seat would be to small but it’s not at all .Overall a nice bench and very satisfied with what I see this morning and can’t wait to use it fully! Adding to my Ironmaster gym piece by piece . I’m sure my sons will enjoy this bench also .Goal to get back in shape by the spring/summer .🏋️♀️🏋️♀️🏋️♀️ Thank you for all your reviews ,it really helps us in purchasing this type of equipment .Again Merry Christmas to you both this morning!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🎄🎄🎄🎁🎁🎁

I put different colors on the deadlift platform (stencil/logo in the middle panel, colored rubber for the sides, etc.). I'd keep the platform, but at least put brightly colored (or highly visible) duct tape around the edges.
You guys are so great! Wynie’s commentary is hilarious! Great vid as always! Idk if the platform is really necessary. I used to have one but got rid of it because of the lip too 🤣
@@GlucksGym there’s a really good subfloor product at Lowe’s that I used. Would take a lot of effort since you’d basically have to clear the whole gym to lay it down. It’s made by Dricore and is really easy to lay down. Then you could just lay in a plywood platform nice and flush.
That was fun to watch! Wynie, Fringe sport sells a "rig step-up" it's a rack attachment you can step on to help reach the pull-up bar without setting up a box
Oh you know they tried to send us that to review it, that's not a joke. I didn't think I'd get a full video out of it but I'm glad you reminded me it exists
Awesome tour thank you Adrian( I finally know your name) and Wynie. Appreciate all your content and all the hard work you 2 have put into it. How often do you guys use the Hexbar D.L.? I'm an old fart now and that's what I use for deadlifting and although Mark Rippetoe is awesome I don't give a crap about how he hates it. 1 more question for you 2 do you do any other bodyweight movements besides pull-ups and dips? As always appreciate your content and hard work.
We don't use it as much as we should but that's more because with our schedule we don't get much extra time. We mostly use it as an accessory to conventional DL but when we change programming blocks we'll swap it in. The truth is we don't all need to do barbell deadlift and though it's a fairly safe movement it's easy to falter in that form and if you're not competing is the risk to reward ratio really worth it? We mostly do dips, pushups, and pull-ups but work in stuff with the rings a lot as well. Thanks for the support!
Definitely should feature Wynie more on the channel. Would be good to get a female perspective on gym equipment. The bit about the benches was really helpful.

If the deadlift platform is somewhat of an issue you could always buy the tiles from Rogue (or the Titan clones) that they make for their deadlift platforms. They would easily store in a corner or on a shelf and you could just lay them down when you deadlift and put them back after.. could also get an easy to move/store platform from MB power center if you needed that for band work. I recently sold my platform for the same reason, it always being in the way.. my space is smaller than yours. And plan on buying the PR3 platform for when I want to do bandwork and those tiles for just deadlifting any other time.
It's not really much of an issue but I do seem to be the only one who really likes it. We can just DL on any of the mats since we have some space but I just like my platform and I wanted to put hooks on it for banded work!

I definitely think the platform should stay in the gym, but agree that having it in the middle is a bad idea. I'd move it against a wall. I know, you're running out of wall space... Or maybe in front of the garage door where the benches were stored? Not much traffic back there besides loading plates on the rack? And you can open the door and show the world your deadlift form!
Yeah it got thrown there for the review and remodel and we just never moved it. We wanted it in a place it's not in the way and technically we can park on top of it there... not that we ever have but it definitely needs to be moved.
