Same here. I think it’s probably due to both nostalgia and also that frutiger aero is a very nature-themed aesthetic and also has themes of “it will be okay, the future will be bright”
This playlist reminds me of when I was a kid and how I thought that the latest Nintendo system having the ability to turn 3d on-demand was the peak of futuristic technology and that we werent going to advance from there. Now that I'm older, I see the future as something not to be expected, but something to work towards. People like us arent going to achieve a paradise-like future easily, but being in a good headspace helps with figuring out what to do next to achieve said future. This playlist achieves that and then some. Thank you for this, and I hope anyone reading this has a day as pleasant as this playlist. Hopefully all of us can experience the bliss that these tunes radiate for ourselves one day.
Don't forget about touching grass! Our extremely urban environment has also fragilized our mental health. Trekking in the mountain it's something great
Blame modernists for ruining everything it's all their fault Frutiger Aero was as modern as it gets we're actually going backwards not forwards everything is basically trashed including TH-cam with the new layout design I wish Smart devices were never invented.
For people that really care there's lots of ways to return older visual styles in many places. The winclassic boards have tons of info on that, as well as some subreddits.. You really just have to search for what you want.
Fruitier aero was a moment in time to teach us that optimism, hope, and most importantly happiness, is a state of mind that we can always reach. We wait around for the world to change but forget the only thing we have control is our mind, ourselves. We may not be kids anymore, the world may be a darker place, and things seem scary, but to be honest….it always was. Appreciate every moment and look within and frutiger Aero is all inside us.
The present that we should have had by now, with wisdom and science. The world should have been matured enough to have helped every human to live with dignity

i like how the first picture is deemed "futuristic" because people 50-80 years ago wouldn't stop using ugly fabrics and couldn't comprehend a couch being a different shape
Maybe they liked fabric and that shape? I dislike it much more when people make things not make sense when making them "futuristic" - human backs and asses would stay the same, so why would couches and chairs become some absurd pieces?
I remember growing up and visiting friends houses everyone had something along the lines of this aesthetic. Anyone else remember those see through ocean themed toilet seats with the fish and everything? Damm I miss the late 90s early 2000s so damm much
Ditto. I swear, if anybody ever actually invents a time machine, the '90s are abruptly going to have a population of like 50 billion. x_x (By the way, they apparently still make those toilet seats, although they're not cheap. Google "see-through ocean theme toilet seat"; there's plenty.)
I wouldn’t say our future is necessarily dystopian. Our future is shaped by us and humans are quite unpredictable. There is still hope and our planet has been through way more than what humans are throwing at it. Things will be fine man you just got to have hope and that is exactly what frutiger aero is, the promise/teaching of a hopeful future.
I think we’re doomed to never actually achieve the futures artists of the past depicted, because our governments aren’t going to pay for that kind of architecture when they could just put up the same soulless buildings.
Also, trends come and go too quickly. So we have this idea of the future that seems great at the time, but falls out of favor before it could ever be built. Then we look back on it fondly years later because of nostalgia.
If you were an adult during this phase you remember this all too well. It wasn’t just games. It actually existed back then for a brief time before the dystopian times
respect you a ton for not wanting to put ads on this - agree with your point, but your hands are tied. thank you for putting together such a dope playlist ✨️

I like the feeling this playlist gives me, some tracks are from fnaf theory videos that I watched back in my school days, I know them very well. Now I understand why our childhood was so sweet. The carefree of childhood is priceless. But the vibe of these pictures are strange. The both look calm and scary at the same time. Perhaps only I feel something like midday horror. The reality is that high school sucked, and it's just nostalgia that makes those hazy days seem nicer than what they actually were.
As someone who played a lot of Super Mario 64, it's kind of frustrating to hear that Dire Dire Docks track without the drum beat kicking in halfway through.
