- This was my favorite video to study and sleep to on TH-cam so I found it an reuploaded. Apparently nobody's channel was hacked and got taken down. I will gladly remove this video if it is problematic or if the original creator gets their channel back/wants this deleted, just let me know!

there's no one there
@@Vexcenot who?
the future we were promised but never got.
yep
It was made to sell televisions, you're just nostalgic.
@@raultrashlord4404 thank you, as I lived through this era more clearly than some of these who were fetus's at the time, it wholeheartedly was for selling products through advertisements and company logos/themes. Rose colored glasses can only get you so far before they blind you.
@@raultrashlord4404I would disagree with that a little... yes, the style became the trend, so people made products that looked like that in order to get sales, but, technology was supposed to become our friendly ally in everything that we wanted to accomplish. All the bright colors and non-traditional shapes were to convey that we could get serious work done (and be taken seriously), without adhering to a rigid, corporate, business shirt and tie presentation like the previous generations.
Anyway, just my take on a small aspect of a much bigger picture.
@@tygerk2372 To counter that, I would say that ethos of the design had the ulterior motive of green washing. It was an aesthetic design choice and not an engineering choice.
You know you're getting old when the kids are nostalgic for 2008
this is more 1999-2002
No wonder why I can't find Nobody's videos. I'm disappointed that he got hacked, cuz I love most of his playlists, and he picks one of the good music and ambient sounds for me to study, relax, chill, and explore places while listening to his stuff. Used to make me feel like I'm exploring liminal spaces when putting on his playlists. I hope he'll come back soon. 🌃
Nevermind he's back surprisingly...
This made me panic a bit but yup it’s there!
Omg I was like wtf are these random spanish ads on his channel. Makes sense now
He got hacked?
how can you hack a wholesome person like him.
My favorite thing is the photo is all real Frutiger Aero style electronics which were actually made and sold, and this person carefully curated their collection
Clicked to respect the thumbnail. I remember those years -- everything was a translucent colored plastic. Even the George Foreman grill over there. Man those toilet-seat Apple iBooks were a weird design.
Frutiger aero is literally just aquatic nostalgia and I love it
Dude, is that really a George Foreman grill? Wild, I never knew they designed one like that!
@@tygerk2372 Steve Jobs returned to Apple, released the first iMac in Bondi Blue color and the rest is history. That one computer also helped the mass adoption of USB as a standard, moving away from legacy PS/2 ports, printer COM ports and ADB ports. Plus it changed the perception of computer from utilitarian tool to a fashion accessory with its various color releases over the years. Almost every other market began to offer different colors of their products to capitalize on that idea, including the humble George Forman grill.
@@tygerk2372 the WAY I thought it was a photo scanner hahahaha! Wild to me too, I would literally want one still... such a dope aesthetic.
OH THANK GOD I use this playlist for work everyday and I was panicking this morning when I couldn’t find it
I feel like I’ve missed out on Nobody’s other playlists since I only just got recommended this video now. At least I’m lucky there’s a reupload of this one, because I’m listening to it while I work too :v
osomatsu pfp perfection.
this is what i felt like 2020s would be like as a kid
Instead we were given disappointment 😖 I wanna go back to 2000

@03:49 :: I needed to hear this. My best friend at work, worked with them for nearly 10 years, worked through Covid, got to know either other so well, same sense of humour, same work ethic, left today, got offered a great job in another country. I cried, I actually cried in front of everyone. I am working late, listening to this and the song sounded exactly like how I feel, in the office at night, alone, sad, I started crying again.
hugs
Everything will be fine, good luck
Sending lots of love to you❤️
"Sad Hours" has PLENTY of 1hr long videos with just this vibe... you should check them out!
You are just putting a bookmark here. If you are great friends, it will be like no time passed at all when you meet him again. Hope you feel better
The first picture gave me tremendous happiness and also severe depression. What an interesting mix 😂😂
Nostalgia's a wonderful bitch of a feeling~
I always appreciate it when a playlist gives each song its own accompanying image, it’s nice variety and it makes the video feel like a journey.
I look at this and it gives me the closest thing to that childhood “looking at an interesting thing for the first time” feeling. I have not felt an intrigue like this in a long time. Thank you for reuploading this.
2005 toyota corolla has been my secret for so long now
The most generic looking car has been your secret? Alrighty
@@TacosAreWizard lel
Its an ambient music artist with very specific vibe.@@TacosAreWizard
I dont know what the music is but I like the aesthetic of the pictures, especially the first.
can someone explain frutiger aero to me, I'm at the aquatic ambiance track but am a bit confused at what styles or motifs unify the genre. I'll edit my comment once i finish the mix
edit: I'm halfway done but took some free form notes for y'all. minimal editing
disclaimer i’m comparing it to vaporwave since it’s my only anchor
liminal
nostalgic but not as the main focus
clearness and crispness compared to vaporwave’s muffled, sedated tendencies of depicting downtroddenness, sedated tendencies through deteriorated media. While there is still evidence in the aging media motifs present in frutiger aero, it feels a little more well adjusted, or less self destructive as a coping mechanism
Vaporwave’s arguments are ‘these utopias never existed, stolen from us and we can’t get back, or lied about their existence completely’, frutiger aero seems to describe a childhood bed you grew out of, ‘we know where it is, it’s just like we remembered, we can freely visit, but we can’t fit back in it’
a proper childhood room vs the hectic nature of 80s (we often hear people who grew up then take pride in the danger or lack of supervision)
a good or proper childhood, but nevertheless bittersweetness toward growing up. contrasted with the desperation, irony, anti-capitalist satire from vaporwave's commentary on lost innocence via a stolen future
basically more utopian? no better symbol for humanity reached utopia than clean oceans and clear skies
nature always seems constrained and utilitarian architecture, signifying it’s still rooted in modern tendencies of taming nature rather than seeing ourselves as part of it
repeating patterns and tessellation as 3d games were more prominent in the style of aero, contrasted with a cable tv / cinema imagery from vaporwave
regarding the digital universes they create, more of a pastoral pleasantness - ‘we liked it here’ - not ‘we escaped/fled to here’ that vaporwave often evokes. mild sunny skies, quiet suburban purgatories.
a metaphor for Vaporwave is a VHS tape with audio/visual artifacts that is warped by forces destroying society. Frutiger aero depicts a long lost, but found small jpeg that is still intact, never faded, but in a pleasant, voluntary incarceration of technological suburbia: out of date file types at risk one day of never opening again, but always with plenty of time to back it up someday. its colors flatter, sure, but are still pleasant and accessible (’i still remember who i was in that old photo’), despite having been surpassed by newer, better, bigger photos.
And on paper, the photos you take today are better in all ways possible. And you take thousands. But do you ever look at them?
Will you remember who you are now like you remember a time when you didn't rely on technology? When did people stop having fishtanks in their home? When did I buy my last physical video game? Jupiter’s red spot is disappearing? Is losing 1,000 photos of yourself from yesterday worse than losing the only photo of you and your grandfather from 10 years ago?
Will I remember who i am despite having more evidence than ever before?
So as a concept, Frutiger Aero as a whole refers to a software aesthetic that featured hues of glossy textures, sky and water patterns, a sort of tropical vibe. Before it got the name, it was often called Web 2.0 Gloss. It was very prevalent in the early to mid two thousands, gaining traction n around 2004.
my vague childhood memories
Why is there a George Foreman grill on the computer desk? And it doesn't even have the drip tray. You are going to spill borger juices all over the keyboard.
It's the iGrill
- Now I will use this playlist every day to feel good
I want everything in that first picture! so nostalgic!
Nobody really is changing the world with their playlists when people freak out where they are. I'm saddened they got hacked thank you so much for reuploading them ❤
Welcome child, to Cyber Valley -where the transistors run free, and the bits & bytes have not a care in the world as they fly over the air from Linksys to Limewire.
Pass that shittttt
Limewire destroyed so many of my e-machines
Damn that sucks. I kind of figured his channel was deleted or something else I was up late at night getting ready to go to sleep and trying to find one of this videos where you’re inside of a car and there’s rain
New fave aesthetic fr, miss my childhood. 😭
This was the happiest era of my life, I rly miss 2000-2010. Hearing this reminds of a world that was woefully lost, makes me wanna cry so much... We shall never have it back. I'm 20 yo rn, but still my mind is filled with memories from 2004-2009, sitting in my dad's office, using his computer to browse through Friv, click jogos and flash games websites in general
You "woefully lost" - PLEASE SIT DOWN. You're 20. Get to 40 years old and then you can act like life has passed you by. You're 20, you're brain hasn't even finished growing.
Thanks for this
I use it to sleep every day
Just used youtube to mp3 and nabbed this mix to my phone now i got it forever complete with image its just one of those playlists that are special enough to remain permanently on my phone love it
that's what i call "dreamcore playlist", not these hey kids/fallen down/mice on venus videos

This entire playlist feels like seeing one of those frutiger aero images from back them you sometimes found inside of stores, on the side of trucks or on some commercial building, slowly fading and bleaching with time, like a glimpse into the recent past.
Great playlist, soft, melancholic, peaceful. Just perfect 🤝
Tha- that is one good looking desktop setup.
This is nobody's playlist, thanks for re upload
That first image hits hard 🔥 🍏

Nobody's channel was recovered and he's back in business. Old news, IK. But thank you for archiving
Actually, the song "nevermind, everything's ok" is the reverb version from Claude Larson's song called Memory Image

Wait, Nobody got hacked? That's such a shame!
Gives me the feel of the future in the past.. wonderful..
Sad that someone is using Nobody's playlists. He puts all his work into making playlists just for someone to copy them 😢
