    i had to add a is valid node on widget switch and promote it to a variable because it kept on screen sometimes

    Great video! I have one question though. Is is possible to not use the collision check and to make the player always be able to switch characters?

      yes, i think you would have to either use a "Get all actors of class" node, or just create a variable that references the characters in your game.

    I have an Idea to make this better Like: you need to Hold Home Button to Open a Menu with the faces of the characters and the you get a black loading Screen and after loading your in the Others character

    This reminds me a lot of a fantastic old game, "Omicron. The Nomad Soul" {featuring David Bowie playing himself in the soundtrack and in live concerts as much in tapes retrievable across the places. A masterpiece!}.
    In that game this taking possession of other characters was crucial part in the gameplay and in the whole story development... I'd love making a sequel...

    Great video! This technique could be used to switch between a person, a vehicle, or even an animal pawn. Anyone want to make a Jekyll and Hyde game?

    This was great thanks - just one question was there a specific reason to cast to the character again with the 'end overlap'? I just casted to the character with only the 'begin overlap' and it works fine.

    Hi Matt, Great video, it seems that the code in this tutorial and the one you made for the companion follow tutorial aren't compatible since as soon as I switch between characters, the following stops and I can't seem to get the characters to follow each other. Do I need to create my characters using pawns and add the components manually or is there something else I'm not doing correctly?

    How would you have multiple characters to control? Is Possession the thing I want to research? Like a Man of War or Starcraft type.

      @@MattAspland Yes Matt. Say you have a few characters on the level. The camera is positioned above but you can move it around. You click one guy and then he uses the point and click, or maybe you can WSAD him. Then you select another character and move him. Like a chess game? Like StarCraft.

    great vid just one problem if the radius of the spheres ever lap (meaning if u want it cover a large area) it dosent work any thought on how to fix

      Hey, so when you make the sphere bigger it doesn't work? If so, make sure that when you spawn in, you aren't already in range of the sphere collision, as you won't be firing off the "begin overlap" event
