  • Hatching Black soldier fly is very simple, but you have to learn practically, this proses is one from another in the cycle of black soldier fly cultivation.
    At the initial stage of cultivation, you can start from the seeds by catching the eggs from wild population, and once your cultivation is estblish, eggs will produced in the flies cage and harvvesting comes from there.
    black soldier fly farming is very potential to produce protein source as animal feed. black soldier fly farming technique is to be able to learn from this chanel and from our ebook.

    Thanks for adding the subtitles, they are big letters, which are easier to read. But you do need to edit them. The software doesn't always put in the right word because of accents or frequency of your voice. The closed caption is interpreting what you are saying as white flies, and I finally figured out that you are talking about wild flies. I appreciate that you are always trying to improve! and your videos are always so helpful and interesting. These are such interesting creatures and I'm learing a lot from you!

    Where do u kep this tray... what about temperature and humidity we maintain fo egg hatching😣

  • @PeterSedesse
    @PeterSedesse 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The eggs hatch in 3-4 days. You really don't need to keep the food underneath the eggs the first and second day. Just store the wooden blocks with eggs somewhere humid for a couple days, then put them on top of the rice/water mixture on the third day. This of course assumes that the wood was only put in with the adults for one day, which means all the eggs will hatch at the same time.

    • @blacksoldierflycolony2297
      @blacksoldierflycolony2297  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, absolutly right sir. Actually we need to prepare the food at the moment they ate ready to hatch...but when harvesting eggs activity runing daily, for some will be confusing- After we harvest and put the wooden blocks (somewhere) we still have to make schedule for each group of eggs to be prepared the media.

Some people feed their does mealworms, but these would work as well. I have eben heard of chicken wing tips being given to does
