Seeing other editing setups brings us smaller TH-cam channels a ton of ideas, inspiration, and motivation. These are all so clean and functional! Thank you for sharing your setups, I love it! ❤
I’m currently looking for remote jobs to work from home, no coincidence this video came up just now 🤔 thanks for this, I’ll be using these ideas for my music production space as well
I love highly efficient, modern work setups with a minimalist flair. I know that not all setups will work the same way for everyone, but the truth is that optimal results can always be achieved by properly managing items and resources. I have a Protractor desk from Manhattan Home Design that I'm trying to take to the next level with top-notch gadgets. Thanks for these reviews!
The problem with using an independent audio feed into the computer without striping timecode is the different clocks on the camera and computer cause the audio to drift. While it's not too difficult to resync audio drift, it does complicate the editing workflow. I encourage everybody to use their audio into their primary camera. If you're filming with a phone (I do), you can use an audio interface that enables you to use a variety of mics. I even use a Samson wireless system for filming with the receiver unit plugged into the iPhone. Works a treat.
1:36 this desk shelf is good enough. There’s no need to spend heft premium price tag for desk shelf such as one from Grovemade but rather use the money to invest on great lumbar support premium chair such as Herman Miller Aeron. Yes the Grovemade desk shelf may looks good but that’s about it. It won’t benefit your body like good office chair 🤭 Your backbone will thank you when you reach 50s. I myself use Aeron and it’s the best investment I made for desk setup besides the Sonos Beam gen 2 soundbar tuck underneath desk shelf producing smooth music when I am busy working 😂
You can also remove the manual crank handle and use a cordless drill to raise and lower the desk. It makes more sense for a garage or workshop where you would have a drill anyway.
lOVE THIS .. I am gonna make myself the second setup.. I have a home setup but I wanted to make a setup in my college dorm .. and got the right inspiration >>>>> Thank you sooo muchhhhhh ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The location and setup for Omar's second smaller monitor is a really good look. Very clean and practical. If i had space for a monitor that size, id definately steal your idea. Well done
It is and it's a good idea. I just couldn't get over the "They call it a work bench on their website and in the store." Yeah, that's because it's actually a work bench lol. It works, that was just funny.
For the first guy, I’d suggest checking into Displaylink to be able to run dual monitors off of the hub. I run three off of one hub because of this with an apple silicon Mac
Loved the last setup, especially using the 2nd tiny monitor up top. I had been trying to find a better setup than dual 24s for graphic design and productivity and was thinking 40” ultrawide, but those are so $$$$. A 32” is perfect for my design work and a small second screen above (not to the side) is spot on for videoconferencing. One recommendation though. Reincubate Camo for iphone as a webcam. It’s top notch.
Ok, for best Soundquality a little Tipp. Position your Yamaha HS8´s in a Triangel where all 3 Sides have the same length. So you have the same distance to the monitors, than they have to thereselfs. In this Setup the monitors have too much spacing, or you have to sit further back to have a good hearing position. No hate I mean the Setup looks spicy, but without this Stereo Triangel you will never get the Quality Sound, that the Yamahas could give you...
Dear author, is it convenient to use Elgato Wave XLR oriented this way, I mean: facing the camera? I think it might be counterproductive unless one mirrors the camera picture, as every turn left becomes a turn right otherwise. But... just a thought of a newbie.
Looking at the Husky desk like .. "Well! AIn't that something" ... Mad cool aka cost effective solution to those massively overpriced, not as sturdy, branded, standing desk. Thanks for the tip.
Great video. Couple of questions: 1) is the link available for the USB-C cable Nolan mentions in his video, & 2) does the USB cable affect the maximum resolution output from the Sony ZV-E10 when using it for video calls. I thought that this was limited to 720p using the a USB-C cable.
Hey! Amazing video! I just have a quick question By having the rode mic in the last video and the speakers, does the mic doesn’t get the sound of the speakers?
Every video I want to watch on home office setups is some guy sitting at a desk talking about how productive he his with video editing. Also apparently you can only use an office for making TH-cam videos. Not everyone needs a 3 point lighting system and LED lights everywhere. All these videos are looking the same.
I have a similar setup, a MacBook Pro M1 Max with the cal digit TS3 and I have both monitors connected to the cal digit. One uses the display port and the other uses a thunderbolt port.
“Crank that Soulja Boy right there” 😂🤣 Thanks for all the amazing suggestions. With my new channel I’m realizing how much time I’m spending on m laptop sitting on the couch. I totally need to create myself a “creative space” where I land to do this work. Can’t wait to make my lair. 😊 Thank you all so much for what you do. AND……🙏🏼check out Nine Finger Wrenching so you make fun of my edits. 😂 🙌
What are the best techniques to remove screen reflections from my glasses? I want to hold online meetings while working on my computer, i use canon M5 II but the reflections of the 27 inch screen and macbook is very annoying
It would be nice to see a video that shows how things connect. Eg. with a MacBook do I connect the caldigit to the monitor, to the Mac then the monitor? Does the monitor make the difference? Does it power the monitor?
Not to be negative, but that sound panel at it's size, will do next to nothing to dampen echo. Don't believe me, do an A) and B) video. I have built tons of sound panels and understand that one has to cover a quantity of square feet before it makes a difference. Sponge type dampening doesn't really do anything. Safe and Sound insulation in a frame at 4" will make a big difference. You will be sacrificing aesthetics to function as again you probably need +20% of the walls covered. Oh...yeah you want something on the ceiling also. ;-)
First of all, the top edge of the screen should be at your eye level or lower, otherwise you will suffer neck pain. Ergonomics is the use of things for you body. Put the lower edge of your monitors on the desktop.
Very nice Video, the love of minimal tech is my passion i created a account to do things smart and not with a lot of stuff... Thank you Think Media for again and again kick in my butt to create more...i love the community you have created

Right, I'm ready to throw my TV away and make a studio in my living room.
Dang! I can watch these kinds of videos all day…I love desktop setups and productivity videos ❤😊

Awesome desktop set-up ideas. The 3 set-ups provide various ideas that I will be exploring for my own productivity set-up. Many thanks 😊

Ha! I see that Husky desk every time i go into Home Depot. They're really well-built, nice and heavy, and versatile - definitely a good buy at $249
You can also remove the manual crank handle and use a cordless drill to raise and lower the desk. It makes more sense for a garage or workshop where you would have a drill anyway.
@@jomymuttathil I just got the desk and I saw that it uses an Allen key so I just need to find the correct bit and I’m off to the races!
have the same chair and im in it for 8+ hrs and no pain cant tell people how good it is
Dannng that was a vibe for like 40 minutes
I fell in love with Nolan's Desk Setup and I'm doing mine like his!

7:50 The Husky rolling, adjustable height bench (desk) is an awesome piece of studio gear. I’ve looked at them for at least the last 6 months.

I am from Pakistan and think media is one of my fav channal
For hand cramps everybody needs to check out the MX vertical over the MX master. I have both but the vertical is my go-to
You guys are so economic, clean, simple but so "ahead" thank you!
We use the 52" Husky desks in our warehouse and I'm calling dibs on one for my home office when we upgrade.

Was looking for this comment. Had a client that ran into this. Likely he didn't install the Caldigits drivers from online.
What an amazing video, thank you very much. My favorite is the last setup, really love the look and feel
Thanks Buddy - I am inspired by the buffet of options. Please keep this up!
Love the setup. I need to work harder on mine as it looks like it belongs to a peasant after seeing this.

ZV E-10 is fantastic camera, I agree. That's what I use to shoot my videos.

Kyle's setup was my favorite BUT I am love that Husky desk. I am definitely looking for a new Husky desk.
The quality of this video is insane at 4k.
Kyle is equipped to the gods.
One major takeaway. Nolan absolutely loves things.
Lol
Im late in the comment but I took a few ideas especiall the Husky desk. Keep cranking that...Youuuuuuu!
Thank you for this video, very much needed for ideas!!

Simply awesome, and very well made! I like not just the research but the experience that went into it. And, I bet you saved the best for last 😊
😎
Kyle's dual monitor setup was my favourite!
I really appreciate this video. Got a lot of good ideas from this.
Hi, any detailed information on the speakers stand holding the Yamaha HS speakers? Thanks in advance!!
Awesome, the monitor setup are lit. Thank you.
Thanks YALL

Hey! Amazing video! I just have a quick question
By having the rode mic in the last video and the speakers, does the mic doesn’t get the sound of the speakers?
Im using the longer version without any attachment from HD and loving it
I love the diversity in content, your videos are very helpful.
Thank you!

That Husky Desk is boss.
Sick set ups I want…🤔 all of them 😅
You can see one cable on Omar's desk but really you could hide that one too pretty easily. Amazing set ups
Awesome video man, I really enjoy watching these desk/office setups, its really helpful.🔥
Hi! Was just looking for ideas and this comes extremely handy 🙌🏻 Can I ask what's the depth of the first desk is? (Dual monitor)
Xtremely helpful...Thanks!!!
The Nuphy Air75 is Awesome. My fav keyboard right now.

Hello and Merry Christmas! AWESOME Video! Is hat that Omar is wearing in this video available for purchase?
FWIW, I think those husky desks are made that you can also raise/lower them with a powerdrill
Great video guys! Great way to re-utilize previously recorded videos as well.
Wow, I like it 🥰
whats the desktop background?
He had the gut to call that monstrousity "cable management"
Very informative and great products to consider. I sincerely appreciate this video. Thanks bunches!! 😊
Looks incredible. Would play Forza Motorsport.
I have a magic trackpad laying around. I may just use it for the same reason. Navigate between desktops and timeline navigation.
Sound panels do not negate echo, they dampen reverberations..
Inspiring! Thx!
Luv u guys....Can you do a video on how the Dual-Monitor works....Please?
Thanks
Where is that desktop background from!? Looks so cool!
love your wallpaper, please where can I find it
Thanks fro sharing. Looks solid
Can you please link the power strip that you're using? I just bought this desk and would like to keep the clean look

This is amazing. Now all I need is about $100k and I'm on this.
You really need like a few thousand to do it on a basic level. You can do it for under 2k especially if you buy used equipment
1:21 Nice Jeep!
How does Kyle Manage the Sit Stand Desk and Subwoofer cables?
What is his cable management 😄
The link you gave for the dual LG monitors is wrong. Is the model of these monitors 27gp950? thanks
is EpocCam required for Ventura based devices? I thought it should just get picked up automatically, when on the same iCloud and in range
Great!!!!!🌟👌🏼🙏🏼👍🏼

Q: do anyone use NIkon cameras as a webcam. I have watched a ton of video desk setups and i only see Sony and Lumix. Thank you for sharing
What a video 👍
hi thanks for the video. What monitors are you using? Is this the mac monitor?
Seriously, how are you guys switching between your speakers and wired headphones?
why do I watch multiple desk set-up videos a day? I have a problem
