    I think Shady's take is objectively better than Joy's, who seems to let her dislike for Rodgers affect her objectivity. The biggest problem with Rodgers is that he doesn't seem to love football anymore, so that will affect his commitment level.

    • @sonikspeed19
      @sonikspeed19 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You literally said the same thing as Joy. She's saying this is an old, nearly retired, coming off a bad season, A-Rod. So she's unsure if we're gonna get the MVP caliber or the old, washed up caliber Aaron. Everyone acts like the Jets have done anything. They're not that good. Their def was ok last year cause nobody was trying to beat them. It's not that easy to plug and play and win it all, don't let Brady fool you.

    • @boki424
      @boki424 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@sonikspeed19 actually, Shady's emphasis was that Rodgers would be an instant upgrade over their QBs, and they'd make the playoffs; Joy minimized the significance of that, saying Championship or nothing. I agree with Shady that Rodgers getting them to the playoffs is valuable, because their young core will actually gain priceless playoff experience and establishing a winning culture, so I disagree with Joy that if it isn't a Championship, it's a failure. Now do I question Rodgers' commitment too? Yes.

      It's funny how everyone talks about Roger's commitment. Did you ever work at a job where you did everything that you were supposed to do how you were supposed to do it and then that company hires your replacement while you're still there trying your hardest to do your job? That's what Aaron went through he was fully committed to winning then they brought in a new coach went 13 and 3 NFC championship game n instead of getting pieces to help that team they drafted his replacement, so now everybody mad that he's doing himself, but why when the company was doing their own thing the whole entire time. 1 good free agent singing in his years there, Julius peppers. Only ever played with 2 hof's in his career peppers n woodson. Get out here with that nonsense. My man knew he wasn't going to win rings in Green Bay because Green Bay was never trying to win rings that organization has no owner is content with just being relevant.

      @@Josebats89 with Rodgers they are def better than the Jags. With Rodgers I can see them winning the division taking at least a game off Buffalo. The only teams I think that are definitively better in the AFC are KC, LAC, and Cinci

    • @BlastwaveDKing
      @BlastwaveDKing ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Josebats89 that doesn't make the team as a whole better though. Jets have a better overall defense. Jets WRs imo are as a whole better. However, Trevor does indeed massively make up for that difference. Jets have a trash QB, an actual good one will make them far better. So with Rodgers I 100% believe Jets are better. There is t even a guarantee the Jags can make the playoffs again next season.

      @Blastwave D. King So they are tied at 5. The goal is a super bowl with this potential trade. They aren't making a super bowl appearance. So it's going to be a waste of two years then you'll be right back here looking for a QB while eating into the rookie contract years of Sauce, Wilson, Hall. Not very wise.

      They said Williams is better than Watson.. huh? He just played more games and was targeted more than Watson only. His route tree may be more developed now, but his impact of defenses isn't on the same level as Watson. If the packers get another receiver to play deep fast, also it's a wrap. There won't be enough recovery time for the defense to stop them on any play.

    It amazes me how Josh Allen gets so much respect and has accomplished nothing when it matters. He’s really good, but that’s it. He has mismanaged and blown many games being reckless. He has awesome numbers but has equally had one of the most talented teams in the league the past seasons. It’s a very high chance the Patriots could be last in that division if Aaron goes to the Jets and the Dolphins return healthy.

    Comparing Aaron Rodgers (arguably the most talented quarterback of all time) to Russel Wilson is so criminal. Russ was never considered on the same level as Brady whereas Aaron was. Compare Aaron this past year to Russ this past year, Russ had better weapons to work with on offense and both teams had a similar defense. Those should be the numbers that are being compared not russ last year in seattle where he had DK and Lockett and this year Aaron had Watson. I will always hate the packers but using a comparison that fits your agenda is pathetic.
