Thank you for creating this video! I wanted to find a video which explained how to avoid pixelated prints! I started out my search with 'how to turn you procreate artwork into a digital print', which led me no where! This is exactly what I was looking for and you provided everything I needed to know. Thank you!
You’re welcome, good luck with the artwork! ✨
It took me days to find a video that covered what I needed to know! Thank you for a clear and concise video!

Wow I just finished watching your video "How to size printable wall art to sell on Etsy using Illustrator" feeling a bit overwhelmed, planned to watch again and then your new pops up! Did you get your sink fixed!?! Really appreciate your time and effort. Thank you.
Yes the monster in the sink is gone 🤣 good luck with the artworks!
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
WOW. Thank you so much for this super informative and easy to follow video. I have been really stressing about RGB vs CMYK, as I thought I has made a mistake by creating all my artwork in RGB and feared having to start over. Do you find that your customers complain later on about the colour change when printing, or have they been ok with it? Thank you!
Hey, thanks for your comment! I haven’t received any complaints to be honest! It’s up to you to decide which format you want to work in, and you can always change the format if you find you get a lot of customers asking for a different format ☺️
@@HeyViviLondon thank you so much! You are honestly so helpful and I really appreciate you 🙏
@@nini9707 thank you, I’m so happy to have helped!☺️
Hi! thank you for this helpful video. I have a question, after pasting the layers into the new canvas I made, they do not fill it completely and I have to zoom into them/enlarge them so that they fill the whole canvas (I hope this makes sense), would that lower the quality?
Hi, yes it sounds like you are likely reducing the quality by doing that. Once you save and export your files you can open them and look at them at “full scale” to assess whether the quality is good enough for you.
Hi Vivi,
Thanks for the tutorial.
Do all these JPEG files with the different sizes included suffice for a fashion design artwork digital download?
Hi Adrian, I created these as a guide for digital wall art, if you’re looking to do something that’s specific to fashion downloads then you’ll want to check out what your competitors are doing in that space. Hope that helps.
So mine says Too Large, even after I have it set to inches and have the 24 and 36 put in. I see when you do it, your changes back to 9 layers. Mine doesn’t. Then when I hit create, it’s back to pixels and it’s just a long line, not a square :(
Are you using iPad Pro? It may be that the regular iPad has a size limit on canvases in which case you may need to make smaller size canvases. My templates are just a guideline, you can use any size you like
May I ask what's your iPad specs? I'm asking because I heard the number of layers in Procreate depends on your device's "power." I use an iPad pro 12.9" 256gb and I can't use a 24" x 36" (300DPI) canvas because it's already too large for my device 😅
Oh no! I just checked, I’m also using an iPad Pro 12.9” 256gb and it lets me create one. how bizarre, I’m not sure why it’s not letting you create one too 😬
@@HeyViviLondon thanks for replying! ❤️ that's weird 😣 but if anyone reads this and has the same issue as mine, I opted for the 11"x14" ratio file!
- I do my artworks at a 22"x28" (300DPI) canvas in Procreate (has only 8 layers).
- Then I use a different software (ex. Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) to transfer my artwork to a higher canvas size (like 24"x36") without scaling it larger 💕
@@pockywish You’re welcome, sorry I don’t know the answer! That’s a good system 👍 how annoying that it’s not letting you create that size in procreate 😐
Thanks for Sharing those Template sizes
You’re welcome!
Hi. when I'm trying to copy paste like you, it is showing all blurry even if I try different size of picture
Hi, I’m not sure why that would be without seeing your files but if you are copying and pasting from a file that has a low resolution or is a small file size then it could be blurry when you paste it on a bigger canvas
I’ve been trying this and for some reason Procreate keeps crashing because the file sizes are too large? Could you please explain a way around this or why this is happening? Thank you
Oh no! I haven’t encountered this before :(
Hi..is this applicable only for etsy or any other shop as well??
It’s applicable to any shop you want to apply it to.
Thank you so much
@@sulagnasamanta2087 you’re welcome, good luck with the artwork 🖼
Hi! What is the RAM in your iPad? Is it 8gb?
Hi, I have the iPad Pro and it has 256gb
@@HeyViviLondon thank you, I meant RAM but with 256gb storage it goes only with 8gb of RAM which indicates the amount of layers in procreate. The most you can have is 16gb RAM with 1TB iPad PRO. I just ordered the newest iPad Air 13” (256gb, 8gb of RAM, M2 processor) and was a bit worried if it can handle various prints sizes but I should have no problem to make as big files as you with my iPad choice 🤍 thank you for this video!
So, if I plan to sell wall art on Etsy, will I always begin with a 24" x 36" canvas in Procreate?
It’s up to you to decide, there is no right or wrong way. This is what I currently do
@@HeyViviLondon do you have to create new canvas sizes for each new image drawn?
@@91wheelz I like to create new canvases for each one.
@@HeyViviLondonhi!! Thanks so much for this informative video, I’ve been struggling to find someone explain this clearly! I do have a question though, when you make your artwork, what size do you create that canvas at so that you know it fits within the other sizes perfectly? Thanks!!
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
