I think the ztw shark have a cutoff on LVC protection by default not reduce power because 30-40°C I think it's not to hot for a marine esc Congratulations on PB on 3s,the two blade props it's not fast maybe because you reduce the blade area?but now it's a good bashing prop
Thanks Daiciu! I suspected the LVC too. But after I exchanged the 50A esc with a 60A esc, the issue is gone. Regarding the props: the silver CNC 936 prop which I detounged, is not the fastest indeed. It does put a lot of heat into the setup, mainly the lipo. The 1.4 pitch TFL's are pretty good. I have a 437 and 438 ready for testing. But they don't fit the wooden version, because the prop shaft is too small. The 436 3-blade is a winner. I didn't expect it, but it runs very fast, and generates more bow lift too.
@@CozyRC yes 50a esc have a peak of 65a and the 60a esc have a peak of 80a so yes maybe the motor pull more then 65a more then ones during the run, this is a good sign for ztw that the protections are working and not just burning right away
Yes, when the battery reaches low voltage, it starts to beep like that. I'm not sure if it stats beeping at over-current as well. I upgraded the 50A esc to a 60A esc, and the beeping is gone.
Hey dj how are you? I have had the same problem of the beeping with my esc but is fixed it by getting a better lipo because with my miss geico 17 i have some 3s 50c lipos and with those it gives me beeps around 75% trothle but with 4s 80c lipos it is not giving me the beeps untik the lipo is drained. Also i received the new esc for the mini mono and this week i wil start painting just received my white base colour and i wil make the mini mono metallic red and the big mono will be metallic purple with a metallic red underside. Also building a rigger for one of my friend very fun. Cheers mylan
The esc starts beeping at low voltage. But I felt the 50A was too light as well. I use pretty decent lipo's, and one run the lipo was still at 3.9V at home. In the next video, I will put a 60A esc in the Mini Mono, and the issue seems resolved. Red metallic paint sounds great! Let me know how it turned out 😎
This pond is a great place for little boats! Only reachable by bicycle or walking, so no fisherman. I have Flycolor escs and ZTW Shark escs, and I like both of them. I think the issue was the 50A version was too light. I now put a 60A in it, and it works fine ✌️
I exchanged the esc for the 60A version, and the issue is gone. That video I will upload lateron this week. Although 50A vs 60A seems a small difference, the esc is quite a bit bigger. I also updated the parts list with the 60A esc version. It's learning by doing! 😎
I have upgraded my battery and it was gone also the motor could be pulling to much amps try detounging the prop, looking at the motor specs and see what amps it can pull. Hopefully you can fix it
Very cool run! I like the build and those 3 blades do sound nice Congrats on your PB!🎉
Thanks! In the meantime, I got a new PB with this setup. I will upload the video later this week ✌️
Amazing speed🎉 on 4s and the 3 blade propeller it will be a beast!
Thanks Peter! The 3-blade prop runs very smooth and fast. I really like it 👍
@@CozyRC I think that all the props you have tried on this boat run smooth and fast 😎
Thanks, I will try some more on the carbon Mini Mono soon!
@@CozyRC Excited in seeing the carbon mini mono running! You can also try bigger props on the carbon mini mono because of the 4mm flex shaft.
Yes, that's right! One benefit of DIY: you can make anything to fit like you want 😎
See I told everyone that the 3 blade gets it done!! Great job bud!!
Thanks! It's a great prop, and I like the sound, too!
@CozyRC absolutely! The sound that comes out is wicked!! Sounds like an F1 race car!! I have some videos on my channel of my bj24 going real fast!!
Thanks, I will check your videos!
Looks good ! Really digging the raw wood look too ✌️😎👍
Thanks! I was thinking on painting it first, but I think keep it like this! ✌️
nice speed
Thanks! It sure goes well 😎
❤❤❤
Thanks for the positive support ✌️

Good info, thanks! It's probably mentioned in the manual, but I didn't read it yet 😅
I was thought those beeping is battery died

Great pond, man, those ZTW esc aren’t very good in my opinion if you can fit a flycolor you’ll get less power cuts.

I really want to win the raffle!!!
This will be a big giveaway. Not just a hull, but 2 builds including hardware and electronics. More on that soon! ✌️
@CozyRC really there's a giveaway? That's so great of ypu
Sounds like a mosquito. Probably bites as much too :D
It does, I already cut myself on this 3 -blade prop 😬😅
