The little bit with Christopher Reeve’s Superman always flew over my head when I was a little kid. It wasn’t until when I got to watch reruns of the Reeves Era movies when I was older, that I almost did a double take when I saw it.
The man literally seemed ‘small’. Timid and gentle and bumbling one minute. Then instantly, it’s like he was a different man just by simply standing up straight with confidence, with a deeper and confident voice.
This moment was golden. And I have huge amount of respect for actors who can pull stuff off like this!
Absolutely. I think Brandon Routh also managed to look a bit oafish as Clark Kent.
Christopher reeve is the only person who could pull off a great super man and a great Clark Kent and nail both roles perfectly

because there are no cuts, it was one shot. Superman flying off the balcony is a projected image while Christopher Reeves was already at the door as Clark waiting for the cue to knock.

@@BrettJamesBishop In supergirl, Tyler did a good job but he didn’t get to truly prove himself until he got his own show, I wish they would do the same for Routh, he’s so good in the role and in the brief amount of time he got in crisis, he easily stole the show, people write him off as a Christopher copy, but if he got a chance to play superman in a show or another movie, he can really truly come into his own, I feel like he has the potential to be the best superman, he has the look and the acting capability

Then she died, Then she was alive again by Clark spinning the earth. But then she knew he was Superman in the sequel. (II). Then Clark spinned the earth so she didn’t know he’s Superman, To making it obvious he’s Superman. To remembering that he is Superman in Superman II. Then using a memory wiping kiss so she doesn’t know he’s Superman.
What a weird way to find out Clark’s identity?
He didn't spin the earth. He entered the speed force and went back in time but in 1978 special effects fashion. That's why he looks down at Earth to see where he is ending up.
Sheesh, Clark must find it a bit of a pain having to change back and forth.
Imagine Superman having to save someone or stop collateral damage from happening, only to look at the time and be like, “Dear God, I’m late for work!”.
I love how Jimmy awkwardly eats his food because he suspects that Lois was really having a moment with Superman when she's already in a committed relationship with her boss's son.

Henry Cavill had such amazing potential to be an amazing Superman and Clark Kent but he was wasted completely because of Snyder’s nihilistic take on the character.
Here’s hoping we get to see Superman back one day.

That "never lie" thing was a bit of an exaggeration, since he lied every day about the secret identity thing. But I agree, I hope we get a light hearted, hopeful, bright Superman movie again. For all its issues, Superman Returns did at least keep in line with the Donner style from Superman 1 & 2. Cavill does make a great Superman/Clark, but I also don't like Snyder's style.

Does anybody remember that Episode Where Lois and Clark traveled back in time to prevent Superman from dying as a baby? The Kryptonite was next to Baby Clark and Grown up Clark was unable to fight But Lois acted like Superman and fought off the bad guy. that was a cool episode, Or another Episode where there were 2 Clark Kents the other was from an alternate Universe but came when Superman goes missing, In the end there was Superman on stage and Clark Kent with Lois Clark said Oh Look Honey they think that I am Superman .
Both episodes involved Tempus!
while the series had some issues, they also had some really good story lines and sub plots.

Christopher Reeve was the best Superman but Dean Cain was the best Clark Kent. I always like the main concept of Lois & Clark.

I prefer Reeve's version of Clark, because it's so different compared to the confident Superman. Dean Cain's Clark, while a good character, is too confident and too much like his Superman, which really made it unrealistic that nobody was recognizing him as Superman.
@@El3ctr0Lun4nah I got to disagree, Dean played Clark like a real person and played superman like a mask. In this series, superman gives off the hope and goodness of a hero but Clark gives off the goodness of a normal, grounded man.
I never liked how Dean Cain always pulls his cape over the camera to take off.

No Question that Christopher Reeve was the best Superman and the best Clark Kent but Dean Cain just had something else that made his Clark & Superman seem vastly different
I liked Cain as Clark for the most part (unless he was being romantic), but I always found his Superman insufferably cheesy. Reeve's Superman was believably sincere even if the dialogue was schmaltzy.
@@luna-p Dean’s Superman reminded of the comic books & it was the 90s so a bit of cheesyness is to be expected but I enjoyed every second of Lois & Clark
@@RuanAntunes7 I mean, it's about an alien who wears his underwear on the outside, so some cheese is expected, yes! And I do love the 90s. But it wasn't the show's cheesiness that bothered me (that's actually one of the reasons I liked the initial reboot of Dr. Who), just Cain's acting, sometimes. Actually, Lex bugged me waaay more. But Teri Hatcher as Lois was great, as was the rest of the supporting cast (first Jimmy was best Jimmy). I loved the show too, just rewatched it recently. PS: Tempus is the absolute best villain.
