1:11:33 Nel asked Pistorius today, "So we shouldn't blame you for the fact that you shot her?", to which Pistorius replies, " I agree with Mr Nel my lady". Then Nel asks, "So who should we blame?" to which Pistorius replies, "I'm not sure my lady". So even this is not his fault! This little runt is unbelievable, I have no words!
I believe many of us already assumed that was Oscar's mindset, but like you I am stunned he would admit it...I cannot imagine that it will set very well with the judge.
The reason you have no words is because there are none. The closest I can come is: audacious, impudent, brazen, cheeky, bold, plucky; informal gutsy, spunky, ballsy.
Karen Owens There is another one, it is a Yiddish word, but I don't know how to spell it. Maybe, some nice person could inform me on the spelling of hoofspa?
She was leaving him. She was a scholar, with a LAW DEGREE. A lawyer, for Christ's sake. A beautiful TV personality, a famous model, a philanthropist. Going all sorts of places, with a stellar future. Who was Oz? A runner. One that was all but washed up now, as his winning days were pretty much over now, what with that faster Brazilian guy with the better prosthetics. They had almost nothing in common - except good looks - and she was now growing very bored of him. And he knew it. His whole world was crumbling. He snapped.
Yes opposites don't attract and op was a sore loser. He lost it with Reeva and she was never expecting this. She was such a lady that she wanted to meet him face to face and go their separate ways amicably most likely. But he wasn't having any of this. So just in a rage I do believe he snapped by murdering Reeva deliberately.
Of course she wasn't going to put up with his crap anymore and his pornography addiction. They weren't even together as long as he makes out they were i.e. she wasn't that into him since she didn't tell her family about him.
Nick Bauer Yeah i agree - flicking through porn websites doesn't even begin to explain the events. nearly everyone does it. I don't think he's a guy that has been obsessed by sexual or graphic violence or we would have heard about it.
The most ridiculous defence style I ever heard. According to Oscar, the last time Reeva said a word, was when Oscar woke up. She said "you cant sleep baba". Even when he pump bullets on her, SHE KEPT QUIET!!!!!!! What a lot of NONSENSE!
And he was dressed!? Omg the more I watch this the more angry I seem to get. He is insulting everyone's intelligence how dare he. This doesn't take a genius
So, Oscar woke up during the night and Reeva was already awake and asked him, "couldn't sleep, Baba?" He answered, "No, I couldn't." He left the bed to fetch the fans and closed the door and curtains (to ensure the bedroom became very dark), While putting Reeva's jeans over the stereo he heard a window slamming against the frame, immediately he thought there were intruders in the bathroom. Next, he started to scream for Reeva to get down and call the police, and to the intruders to get out. Afterward, he went to the bathroom still screaming, but stopped when he got there not wanting to give them his location. When in the bathroom he heard another sound that he thought was the door opening. Oscar shot four times in rapid succession because he got frightened. Still screaming, Oscar solve to look for Reeva and , and suddenly before looking everywhere he decided that was Reeva in the toilet, fetched his cricket bat and bashed the toilet door, finding Reeva dead. Why did he carry her? Why did he think it was Reeva in the toilet? Why did he shoot four times? Why did he scream before but not after finding Reeva? I believe Oscar and Reeva woke up during the night and went to the kitchen to eat (where Mrs. Estelle van der Merwe listened a woman talking angry at 1:56 a.m.). There they began to argue with Oscar turning violent and Reeva running upstairs and closing the main bedroom door, but Oscar managed to break the door and while Reeva ran to the toilet and locked the door, Oscar followed her and tried to open the door. As he could not open it, he went to the bedroom to get his gun, returning to the bathroom he shot once and listening the magazine rack moving he changed his aim, shooting more three times. Afterward, he went to the bedroom to put his prosthetic legs to bash the door because he needed to certificate that Reeva was really dead. Once he opened the door, he realized she could not survive and solved to carry her downstairs (to make the police investigation harder, or to show that he was really devastated). The neighbors facing the bathroom windows could listen the shots and screams because the bathroom window was always open. The remaining closer neighbors just listened Oscar crying because he opened the front door.
I think they had an argument, possibly about her seeing her ex boyfriend a few days prior (a big one at that, considering how possessive he has been described by others), she ran to the toilet with her phone and was in the process of trying to call someone for help. That could be his motive for shooting.
Grande Latte he is guilty. u are just one of thees ppl that will always say he is incent no matter Wat the evidence is or his Dodge story and all the lies he telling been caught out loads of times and u say his story is consistent hahaha have u watch t it all the way threw
i think he murdered her cold blood in a fit of rage. He MUST have heard her SCREAMING in horror when he shot the first shots! There's NO WAY a woman wouldn't scream in panic if you are being shot with a gun to kill! She did scream! He heard it was her, and not a man or unknown intruder! How was he not sentenced?
+Coconut The State appealed his conviction and he was convicted of murder. He goes back for sentencing April 18, 2016. It's a 15 year minimum sentence up to life.
Oh dear, isnt it obvious why the jeans were inside out....He and Reeva were arguing, she packed all her things in her holdall then she sat on the end of the bed to pull on her jeans, he grabbed them by the bottoms and pulled them off her, pulling her and quilt onto the floor. She then grabbed his basketball shorts from where he had them over his prosthetic legs and ran into the bathroom with her phone. She put the shorts on and was probably going to call a friend or the police when he really lost it and shot through the door. I dont think he intended to kill, he was in a total rage. He knew she was in that cubicle....He should have been a man and taken responsibility for this awful act if he was truly sorry and had really cared for her.
Why didnt he turn the gun on himself if he was really remorseful - he went and got himself a new girlfriend and a PR company to handle the media. Sick.
He does have a new girl friend......how could he even think of having one at a time like this......and going to the shooting range....i would have PSSD even looking at one or even handling one......and he made jokes about a water melon and brains......
Besides his version of the events being totally unbelievable, starting from the fact that Reeva, unless she was deaf and mute, did not ever talk to him during his holllywoodesque version of events, he is using his poor me little - good boy voice, to get the judge, an older lady, probably a grandmother, to feel sorry for him. I do hope she does not fall for that trick
How come when he talks about how he found her body and he describes the position she was in when he found her dead..he does not cry? Yet he cries when he talks about other things? He cries when he gets caught in a lie.
OP: "I was screaming for Reeva" wouldn't you think after screaming for Reeva, and apparently not receiving a response, he would first want to ascertain where she WAS before he fired all those shots?
why did Oscar stand squarely in front of the door a fire his pistol, was he not concerned that the person on the inside could return fire? I believe that he assumed this stance because he knew that whom ever was on the inside of that toilet was not armed
That is an excellent comment l truly believe after he shot the gun 4 times he would have taken cover in the event of return fire, and the reason for not taking cover is that he knew Reeva was behind that door and she wasn't returning his fire. Come on Mr Nels your missing out onalot of "gotcha moments" . Fortunately you did catch him on a few of those moments. There was so many moments that were common sense that was apparent he was lying and tailoring his testimony as hes was testifying.
I haven't seen all of the videos on here as it's too time consuming for me, but what i can conclude is that he is completely full of s**t. Why would you confront an "Intruder" in a locked bathroom..? Why wouldn't you grab Reeva and yourself, get outside the house as quick as possible with your firearm and raise an alarm by calling the police. His anger got the bad of him and unfortunately, which I'm sure he regrets, killed an innocent defenseless woman. He's terrible at hiding his lies they're so obvious.
He wanted to protect his girlfriend and himself, and he wouldn't be the only one to shoot through a closed door if he suspected danger behind it - not everyone waits for the enemy to appear in front of him.
@@hildejutta1625 Bla bla... Neighbours herd her screaming through the open bathroom window while getting shot. And he would have heard her screams too after the first shot. There is no way he didn't know she was in there.
I console myself that even if he does get away with it, he's finished. I'd be surprised if a narcissist of this level could live with being a pariah, even though there's that awful contingent of women who are attracted to monsters like this.
Carrie Aldighieri At the period of 21:00 till wherever he got misled, he should have just asked so how did you hold the cricket bat? The reason is because just before that he said he had the gun in his hands. If Nel had waited to find out the answer from how he held the cricket bat then we would have seen more of Oscar's crumbles and tantrums like yesterday, getting caught out. How on earth can you have a cricket bat on one hand and the firearm in one hand or the same hand, plus try to kick the door down. Or remember to put it down to kick the door down and then pick up again and take it around with you. I read your comment earlier and quite agree. "How did he run back with the firearm in one hand, cricket bat in same hand or another ( as Nel didn't wait to clarify) and have the time to smash the door down. Wow!
Carrie Aldighieri Exactly Carrie. How i imagined, so not possible to juggle all that at once. Have you all noticed how he doesn't cry at moments where a normal human being would i.e. he cried all yesterday about his contradictions and yet anything to do with Reeva he doesn't. Especially where there was blood today - the toilet seat, etc... he didn't shed any once of emotion like yesterday for nothing. He is lying. And i too believe, he may just get away with it. The way the judge is taking it easy with Oscar is not settling well inside me or she might just be playing a good game and to prove she is not prejudice or she isn't showing favouritism.
Carrie Aldighieri I couldn't put it any better. I truly feel the same. Hopefully judge is holding back and shock Oscar, as I feel he feels he has got away with murder!
I was crying out for the lord to help me after i murdered Reeva. Some people don;t believe in him but use his name to deceive others. Oscar could not possibly believe god would help him cover his crime.
you shouldnt to begin with specially when your the first on the scene scrwe up everything and a detective with his own charges gets to work ..later gets paid by vanity fair to give interview ...that is enough that same system allowed him to work dont be surprised if you goes free because of some technicality
Funny, in his heightened state of panic, he knew the code to get into his phone but later when all had calmed down, he no longer could remember the codes.
OP is being treated like a tender 9-year old juvenile, not the 27-year old killer he is; unlike most other people in his situation, he continues to live in the lap of luxury. I wonder how they behave behind closed doors - frowns and mumbled prayers become laughs and curses.
The prosecution is excellent! For my personally there is no doubt he murdered Reeva intentionally. 1) In such a situation, any person would have checked their girlfriend was in the room. He knew she was not there, because when he went to take the fans in he was literrally standing next to her bedside. 2) If he was screaming call the police, Reeva would have answered, she would have querried what is happening. Would she just call and say 'we need the police, but I dont know why or what is happening'... 3) When he was standing next to the toilet, what there was no conversation? He knew she was there, he is psychopath! She ran from him, and he just killed her...
OP: It was the sound of wood movement in the bathroom. OP: I thought it was the door opening. OP:In retrospect it had to be the magazine rack cause the door didn't open, my lady.
I don't usually make comments here but this trial has been keeping me up nights. I have watched all of the you tube videos of the trial since day one and read all commentary. In my mind, it is a given that he is guilty_ Narcissist gone wild. I believe Reva probably went too far that night and wounded his ego beyond repair… I was so excited when Nell first started his cross examination. Those first three days were intense and thrilling because for a while Nell was beating Pistofforus at his own mental gymnastic game. I believe OP studied intensly over the past year to prepare for this trial and along with his intellectual ability, pretty much had the story consistently down pat. That is where I started to feel uncomfortable, when OP could recall tiny details but would then go blank when the questioning got tough. But the thing that disturbs me now is that, I believe in the last three Nell had gotten really burned out. I think Nell knows how guilty and cunning OP is and just hates the guy. In the last session I really began to think that some of Nells objections and concerns were not even relavent. I think he actually started to lose his train of thought and sometimes was making errors or hammering at OP just too far. I agree 100% with Nell and the state: Oscar Pistorius killed Reva. But I believe Oscar Pistorius will be aquitted because he planned the perfect defense. He's a spectacular Narcissist. And what I find really fasinating is that I am beginning to think by watching his family that some of those people are horrified by HIM! I even think I have seen a little look of terror from his darling sister. What did Nell say a couple of days ago: It's all about you; it's fight fight, kiss kiss and smiley face. And now she's dead! But I still love Nell; he has managed to convince the general pubic that OP is guilty in the first! Guilty! Guilty! Oscar Pistorious will never have another sweet day in his life. He will continue to be famous for one thing and that is for killing his BaBa, Reva Steenkemp. May she rest in peace.
I've only just come across these videos now and I'm starting to watch them, but I know that just before Valentine's Day, Reeva spoke of a surprise for her Valentine's Day sweetheart - this may not even have been mentioned in court, because OP didn't know about it and only readers of this post knew about it. This surprise may have cost her life, and he was telling the truth. He had no motive to kill her, and she was sophisticated, so she would not have given rise to such a reaction. It was a young love and they both loved each other. Furthermore I don't rule out the attempt to break in, but due to the reaction of the shots, he will have quickly run away - perhaps without fingerprints.
That George Michael Song I spoke about earlier "Through" - for those of you who haven't heard it, here's an extract of some of the lyrics :"Is that enough? I think it's over. See, everything has changed. So hear me now, I've enough of these chains. I know they're of my own making, No one else to blame for where I stand today. I've no memory of truth, but suddenly the audience is so cruel. So God, hey God, you know why I'm through. Oh God I'm sorry. I think I'm through." Yep!
I think the reason Pistorius is obviously lying about the mag rack is that he said he heard the it moving ( "wood moving", looking back- he said- it wasn't the door he perceived opening, but "in retrospective must have been the magazine rack"). But Reeva was shot in he hip with the first bullet in a way that she must have been standing close to the door facing it and was therefore nowhere near the later position of the rack as shown in the police photos. So she couldn't have created that sound. So as a conclusion, OP must have invented that noise he 'heard' . Also, I believe that Reeva revealed her position when falling on the rack and Pistorius was able to aim her with the fatal shot. He didn't want her to talk.
Nel did an excellent job of showing the inconsistency and extreme improbability of Oscar's version of events, but he has not proven either intent or motive. I'm particularly surprised that Nel finished his cross examination without showing the argument took place, I thought he was building towards this for sure. I hope and suspect that Nel has something more coming as right now he does not have a conviction. At the same time the defense almost seem to be acting like they've already lost the case, and if that reading is correct, it virtually confirms they know what is coming.
Has anyone listened to the song "Through" by George Michael? The words are so aptly fitting for OP when he is found Guilty! I think if there is ever a film produced, they should use this song and maybe even the title.
If you run for your country and became a national hero, now this is the time you run for your life,it's for real and the State will make you run without your prosthetic legs you will never get very far...
Is it possible that Reeva used OP's phone to call security, but before she could speak she was murdered? Mr. Nel should spend more time talking about how he told security that everything was fine. He just said he put his phone in his pocket when he left the bathroom. I take that to mean he picked it up in the bathroom.
Hey i like that. Reeva could have taken OP's phone and ran off to the toilet to call police or security after their argument. And OP's ex- girlfriend testified he took his phone everywhere he went, kitchen, bathroom etc (something to hide) could have lost the plot at that point
Wow. That makes total sense, and is completely consistent with her movements, his movements, the phone calls, and then his movements afterward. Hope Nel and staff are perusing these comments!
I hope Mr Nel is reading our comments on You Tube (fat chance.) He has to give a credible explanation of the events that brings in all the circumstantial evidence and is parallel to the story. I can say the explanation of OP's story is just too far fetched to believe. People do not act the way he described. No one would have automatically believed someone was breaking into their home. Reeva would have behaved differently during the make believe break-in. Police do not come in an move everything around. Isn't that police work 101? I wish Mr. Nel would have pointed out that no one disturbed the scene more than OP did and ask him to explain why he didn't answer when he was asked what happened right after the murder.
I think this is not possible. The second round of 4 shots happened according to witnesses around 3:15, this is also the time Mr. Stipps called security. After that, Reeva was dead. The very first call from OP's phone to security is confirmed to be registered lasting 9 seconds at 3:21, so that#s much later. This is where OP was just crying. Then security phoned him back.
Karen what you are saying makes a lot of sense and I hope Nel could use it in his crossexam.. how on earth does OP not remember talking on the phone but remembers where the rag was exactly.. doesn't make sense to me.
Dang! Oscar said Monday Reeva was sitting on the toilet bowl when he came in after shooting through the door. Now he is saying she was on the floor, towards the right of the bowl....Gee!
36:41 OP - "I don't remember where the panel was." GN - "But the magazine rack was to the right of the panel...? OP - "Yes, my lady..." Well, if you don't remember where the panel was..?
Oscar Pistorius Trial: Tuesday 15 April 2014, Session 1 Reeva's fingerprints should be on the window (of course there could be older fingerprints of her)
Reeva locked the door to keep OP out! Just another simple fact. Doesn't OP sound like a 4 year old sticking to his story?? Hw can't tell WTF Nel has uo his sleeve. Then when he's caught, that wimpy voice appears...
Am I missing something....who opened the door so that Mr Stander and the others could come in...or does OP leave front door wide open??..Was it the elusive Frank the housekeeper/security guy who lives at OPs house?
Basically, OP is the kind of guy who blames Reeva for being shot at and blame the gun for firing a bullet at her. I think Nel missed the part where, earlier in the trial OP cried and described his version of the scene and said that after he broke the door open, he found Reeva and said she wasn't breathing. In this session he said that she WAS breathing and that he felt a pulse, so clearly he's making things up on the go. Aside from constantly dodging Nel's questions. Personally I think that Nel clearly portrayed OP as a completely irresponsible and dangerous individual. The part in the shot he fired at the restaurant, where he somehow had the gun in his hand, fired but systematically refused that he had his finger on the trigger despite knowing full well that the gun could not fire by accident so he obviously knew what he was doing. I was hoping Nel would propose a motive for OP to kill Reeva during his cross-examination, I think that would make his case even stronger. But I guess portraying OP as a reckless, trigger-happy an completely irresponsible individual is good enough for him at the moment.
Slips in your testimony Mr. Pistorius. 1st slip: 9 April 2014, session 5, 41:16, "They didn't know the fan was part of where the accident happened." 2nd slip: 10 April 2014, session 3, 48:03, "My only thought was to get Reeva, get help for Reeva." "...to get Reeva..." was your thought Mr. Pistorius.
If your version of the event is fact, Mr. Pistorius, why did your housekeeper not testify to prevent conviction of an innocent man rather than flee South Africa ASAP?
she got up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet, and she takes a phone with her? Who does that?? As someone else said, it was a lifeline to the outside to call for help. And the fact that Oscar had the wherewithal to pick up "his phone" and put it in his pocket just in case he needed to speak to anyone..... hiding the evidence more like.. and Reeva locked the toilet door??? who does that when there is only two of you in the house....
Nel is a boss , constantly finding holes in OP's story . OP keeps contradicting his own story . Guilty as f**k , he lost it after an argument and murdered a beautiful woman . Send him down M'Lady .
It's a valuable question because looking at a photograph of let's say the bed which where they constantly speaking of which side reeva slept and where Oscar got up. The left and right position of the bed would constantly change pending if u looked at the photo or if u immerse yourself into the scene the left and right would change.
First rule of firearms Identify Your Target no excuses. She's locked in the toilet with her cell phone doesn't answer when he calls out but is heard screaming by a neighbors before the lethal shots are fired and we're supposed to believe this isn't first degree murder. Sound of one hand clapping here. There is someone coming out to attack him by the name of Nel.... hats off to you sir.
Pistorius testified that he locked the bedroom entrance double-doors before he retired. Was the sound of the unlocking of the doors audio-recorded? Prosecutor Nels should ask OP if a sound is generated when the doors are unlocked. Reeva had to UNLOCK the doors to leave the room for the toilet.
On April 9, 2014, session 5, 41:16 - 41:20, O.P. testifies "THEY DIDN'T KNOW THE FAN WAS PART OF WHERE THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED" , evidence from Oscar Pistorius that the "ACCIDENT" started in the BEDROOM at the location of the fan. The statement happened so quickly that Prosecutor Nell did not catch it. Photo evidence at trial showed "BLOOD SPLATTER' on the bedroom carpet and the duvet.
*About Reeva Cell Phones being in the toilet...* 5/11/14 (4:03 pm) I believe that Oscar PUT Reeva's cell phones in the toilet with her to make it SEEM like Reeva already had them in there. Oscar tried to make it SEEM LIKE if Reeva was THREATENED by him, she would have called the cops. However the TRUTH is, IF Reeva thought that there was an INTRUDER in the house and her cell phones were in the toilet with her, she would have CALLED the cops, especially with Oscar YELLING so LOUDLY as HE CLAIMS, telling the intruders to get out of the house. ALL LIES! Oscar is a VERY SLICK person but NOT slick enough. God has people in the courthouse who understand SINISTER SCHEMES! God's JUSTICE will be served.
Every time OP gets cornered with a tough question, you hear that long exhale......awkward silence. Even more revealing when he becomes combative, and irritated that his bs story isn't being accepted. Now I know why he wouldn't go on camera too, that crybaby routine must've looked ridiculous based on how it sounded.
Heard a weird noise whilst in bed last night so I jumped up and did all the usual stuff. Checked the front door, checked the windows, shot my girlfriend five times, checked the back door. Turns out there was no one there... GUILTY My Lady!!!!
That question from Nel made no sense, why would Reeva take her jeans off in a rush to get out of OPs house, she would be putting them on not taking them off!
Averagebum Bum Exactly. That's one aspect that I cannot get past. Especially if it requires the turning of a key to lock it. It's one thing to press a lock button on the door handle.... I have never locked a door when my boyfriend(s) stayed over or I stayed at their house(s). Bizarre.
The way I see it. The prosecutor is very manipulative in the court by attacking everything the defendant said that doesn't fit his one-scenario assumption, even including the defendant's emotion. Repeatedly saying things don't make sense when they could. First, Not all person (if any) scream like how actors play in dramatic movies when they see their loved ones' life is in danger. Notice Pistrious did say Reeva was struggling on breathing, if that were true, since no one can say Reeva died immediately with the last shot, then what is the point of scream loudly instead of trying to save her(which Pistorius claimed he did)? Second, while Pistrious screamed to Reeva to call the police out and in the bathroom, Reeva could not see him, or where the intruder is through the door. If I were her, I'm not sure I will scream back to expose my location when I don't know where the intruder is and the situation in the bathroom. I'd try to call the police, hide behind the door, face the door, lock it in case the intruder come in before my boyfriend or the police take care of the situation; or, I could try to open the door if I'm really curious about the situation, or want to help my boyfriend. Third, I, as a girl, do lock bathroom doors when I use toilets in the beginning of a relationship before I get too comfortable with the idea my BF could accidentally see me excreting; or I could lock the door simply because I'm afraid of the dark at night. Forth, the prosecutor assume Reeva was going to leave Pistorius, now with the evidence of Reeva's card and gifts to tell Pistorius she loves him the same night, it would be a 180 degree mood and decision change for her to then decided to leave him/break up with him for one single fight. Which I doubt she is that moody and emotional. The prosecutor should give solid evidence as to why and what could make Reeva wants to leave him in one night and really done so, before he keep telling the defendant and the court that's what happened. What I'm saying, is that there could be hundreds of reasons why things happened. And since no one knows what really happened the night except Pistorius, a prosecutor's job should be to process the case based on evidence, other than his own assumptions and knowledge. The worst way is to lead and persuade the court to believe his interpretation regardless of the truth, which is to frame someone whether the prosecutor is consciously or unconsciously doing it. While some people accuse Pistrious faked his tears and vomit, which is silly since not even the best actor/actress can fake an involuntary reaction and even the reporters smell the stench, why don't they accuse the prosecutor making a personal show when he speak sarcastically and cocky and have his one shoe on the bench? We can always find reasons to blame someone if we can't let go our prejudice and prejudgments.
He hears the noise in the bathroom. But he said that Reeva doesn't make a sound or call out when he shoots in the bathroom. Find that very hard to believe.
You say the words "phone police" to your girlfriend lying 2 feet away from you in bed: No speech, no movement, total silence, from the bed. After saying the words 'phone police'. And this doesn't make you react. Yeahhhhh
Mr. Pistorius, if you believed an intruder was in your toilet, believed you were in an life threatening situation, were "scared" and "terrified", why, after cautiously advancing down the bathroom passage did you stand directly in front of the toilet door with an opened window to your side?
If your a Burglar wouldn't you go thru the 'open' balcony doors if you think the house is empty, also they would probably take a dump before robbing the house!
1:15:05 - Nel: "...the court will find..." Roux quite rightly objected to that presumptuous statement and the judge upheld his objection. But in his very next question Nel used the exact same phrase, to which the judge raised no objection. Nel was at this time exchanging knowing glances in the direction of the judge. I was left with the distinct impression that either Nel is bullying the judge or the judge and Nel had collaborated on the tone of this line of questioning so as to put more pressure on OP. It wasn't a good look for a judge to allow that. I lost a lot of faith in this judge as a result of this.
No one seems to have asked WHY she would SHUT the door AFTER she'd 'voided her bladder', as Mr. Nel puts it .. Why would she have shut the door AFTER? Makes no sense at all .. Pistorius CANNOT keep up - because to be a good liar, you have to have a very good memory, and he's sinking fast .
This judge is clearly way too sympathetic towards Oscar's defense. I honestly think she'll acquit the cocky murderer despite all inconsistencies in Oscar's account and the evidence against his case. He will walk out OJ-style, maybe write a book too, leaving the rest of the world in bitter disgust.
The only thing that makes me think he might not have intended to kill her is why he would be stupid enough to ruin his life. He was a big hero in SA but would ruin it by shooting a girlfriend of a few months to end up in jail for life. Plus he's disabled and couldn't fight off an intruder without a gun.
He'd still have been much better off whispering a conversation with reeva, taking her hand, and, eyes trained on the passage, slipping out the bedroom door and downstairs to make a phone call. If he had even got as far as touching her once - anywhere - considering she was about two feet away from him, he would have known she wasn't on the bed and therefore that momentary 'start' about the bathroom window was obviously just reeva that slipped to the toilet when his back was turned...
***** When I was in bed and heard a noise thinking somebody had broken in, I froze, too scared to move or speak. After ages of not moving in bed and not hearing anything else I got up to see it was a shelf that had fallen down.
*The LORD showed Me the Prosecutor's CLOSING STRATEGY!* *Prosecutor Nel's CLOSING of CROSS EXAMINING Oscar Pistorius!* Did the Prosecutor's closing MAKE SENSE? written 4/19/14 (9:16 pm) I couldn't help but NOTICE how TACKY Prosecutor Gerrie Nel's CLOSING seemed in CROSS EXAMINING Oscar Pistorius but was it TACKY or a (convicting) CLOSING STRATEGY? If you guessed a convicting closing strategy, then you are 100% CORRECT! I've WATCHED how SHARP and COMPETENT the Pit Bull is throughout the ENTIRE TRIAL and I am telling you that Prosecutor Gerrie Nel, ended his ARGUMENT with Oscar Pistorius in a WAY that FORCED Oscar to PROVE that he is ALERT, AWARE of the questions that were asked and the comments that were put to him, as well as COMPETENT in INTELLIGENCE and in and of a SOUND state of mind upon cross examination ending and HAVE been throughout the ENTIRE cross examination. Inasmuch, the Terrier's use of Reeva's JEANS being turned inside out and putting it to Oscar that Reeva was ready to RUN from Oscar, to reason why her jeans were turned inside out, was ONLY a test for Oscar and Oscar PASSED with FLYING colors. Oscar tells Prosecutor Gerrie Nel that it does (NOT) make sense for Reeva to have quickly got OUT of her jeans IF she wanted to RUN from him. This is HUGE as Oscar's RESPONSE of CORRECTION for the Prosecutor *demonstrated* that Oscar is AWARE, ALERT, COMPETENT and INTELLIGENT enough to KNOWS how to MAKE SENSE of things. Yet, Oscar's ALIBI totally does (NOT) make sense and THAT'S because Oscar FLAT OUT LIED about the ENTIRE THING! So, from Prosecutor Gerrie Nel's testing, we LEARNED that Oscar is intelligent enough to know WHEN things make sense AND when they DON'T because Oscars IQ was REPEATEDLY tested by the Prosecutor but when testing Oscar's IQ, the Pit did (NOT) let Oscar KNOW that he was being tested. Yet, Oscar PASSED with EXTREMELY HIGH levels of COMPETENCE throughout the ENTIRE trial. This is HOW we know that Oscar passed. When Prosecutor Gerrie Nel scrambled things up and put them to Oscar, Oscar was able to SEE that things were (NOT) right as well as UNSCRAMBLE things and correct them with the Prosecutor. Oscar's awareness and competence was also shown in how Oscar kept up with the things that were put to him, how Oscar knew (HOW) to (quickly) TAILOR his evidence REPEATEDLY and that alone showed HOW QUICKLY Oscar was CAPABLE of coming up with LIES said the Lord and THAT type of person is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! Anyway, with Oscar's HIGH LEVEL of AWARENESS as well as his COMPETENCE to the questions and statements that were put to him, Oscar CANNOT blame his TAILORING of EVIDENCE and LIES on INSANITY or accident related TRAUMA. Nor can Oscar blame his TAILORING of EVIDENCE and MASSIVE LIES on (NOT) being in and of a sound mind. Such evidence of competence have been PROVEN and will be HEAVILY WEIGHED behind chambers when the Prosecutor, the Defense, and the Judge collaborates. I can say that Oscar DID have SOME trauma. Yet, Oscar's TRAUMA was the result of him being CAUGHT and CONFRONTED with what he did as well as being TERRIFIED of having to go to a South African prison. Oscar's trauma was NOT about him being traumatized because he accidentally KILLED Reeva. Oscar's trauma is FEAR BASED because he KILLED Reeva (without) a probable cause of THREAT. Nevertheless, Oscar's FEAR based trauma did NOT interfere with his comprehension and we can see this truth again, based on Oscar's level of intelligence that he demonstrated when TAILORING his evidence when TRYING to get his alibi to make sense, as well as when Oscar unscrambled things that the Prosecutor SCRAMBLED UP and put to him as well as Oscar's FINE attention to detail that he brought our attention to, on many occasions. Well, I'm glad I got to finish up on this piece of evidence. I've been trying to get this particular part done for a while but other things kept coming up for me to comment on. At any rate, be sure to give God the glory and stay connected to me by clicking on my photo and google plusing me. Doing so will allow you to follow my comments daily and/or as I post them.
Quote by Nel ''She took her jeans OFF to leave the house because she was getting dressed in a hurry" Yes, we all hastily disrobe before leaving the house ? Nel has lost the plot .. again.
Nel has achieved exactly what he set out to do with his semantics. It's an art making truth look like untruth. Methinks Milady is a little too smart to be suckered into that, unlike the peanut gallery :)
***** I don't engage in unedifying arguments with trolls. You would be better off putting your time and effort into the study of syntax. Run along now, there's a good chap. :)
I don't believe for a sec that the State had to interrupt this trial for other matters. He wants a break because he hasn't proven anything so far and needs to work on the case. He did not prove premeditation or motive. I have compared Oscar's bail statement, his testimony with Mr. Roux and his cross-examination and Oscar is consistent with his version. It was also proven that things were moved in the bedroom by the police. I don't think its going very well for the State right now.
@@paulathienides1376 The ostentatious behavior of men in front of their girlfriend can lead to a strong crackdown, "to catch one's man!" - The only stupid and fatal thing is, that she got into the bathroom/toilet without his knowledge.
@@paulathienides1376 This doesn't have to happen in front of the girlfriend, it's an overall condition: the adrenaline level is already high, because of the new love and the man is braver than he would otherwise be - regardless of where she is - he acts as a protector!
Josh, just as I thought too. The toilet door was OPEN, OP says!! It had to be since later he heard it slam shut! Can U imagine how quiet it is at that time of the night/morning? Very. I would have pounced on that with more questions and Mr. Nels famous astonishment at his answer which would have been "No, My Lady." Too bad, Mr Nel. There was another 'misspeak' by OP but Mr. Nel missed 'em. I was begging Nel to jump on it, a misspoken truth was uttered while he was wailing. I didn't write it down at the time but if U listen to all his testimony U too will 'catch it'!
why no questions regarding whether this was a sexual relationship, was there an argument about his sexual ambitions, allegedly he was looking at porn videos on his iPad that night. Strange that the relationship intimacy was not explored.
The Law says identify the intruder if he is an intruder before shooting. And also fire warning shots if they are not carrying a weapon. He killed her on purpose
Reeva is on the "other side" but she is till earthbound and she is really pissed off right now. I was trying to "connect" with her spirit to get an idea of what really happened but all I get from her is anger. She said that "I" (we) spectators were being entertained by allof this. If something more cons through, I'll let you all know!
Anyone else wondering - if - according to OP - Reeva used the toilet to 'void' her bladder and didnt flush - he has NEVER mentioned hearing the toilet flush - where was the tissue paper that she most certainly would use before pulling her clothing back up ??? Couldnt see any tissue paper in the pictures of the blood strewn toilet shown in evidence ! Kept waiting for Mr Nels to ask him that today - he never did though . As someone who used to work with adults with physical difficulties - I used to hold Oscar in high regard for all he had achieved - now I just think of him as the typical domestic abuser / control freak. I assume Reeva decided enough was enough after yet another argument - the honeymoon phase of that relationship didn't last long !!! - and was intending to leave the house - and Oscar that dreadful night. She was obviously frightened - why else would she lock herself into the toilet with her mobile phone . Just wish she had managed to contact someone and tell them what was happening - it must have all happened SO quickly ! Hope he is found guilty and experiences the very worst kind of time in prison !!! RIP Reeva - and I hope her friends and family can find peace in the future
He claims to have gone out onto the balcony to scream for help, yet when the guard called he said everything was OK, and the first person he called was a female lawyer friend of his, not emergency services. When you tell the truth you don't have to have a good memory; when you lie you have to keep track of all your lies.
You have got to remember that Oscar has trained for a whole year for this day. If he sounds at all convincing then no wonder. Roux would have gone through every possible question testing Oscar to his limit. The ones he didn't go through, Oscar panicked then cried. He's definitely guilty but I think he will get away with it.
Oscar's aunt I have heard is a world renowned psychocriminologist ,she woul have his PROFILE. Told him how to present himself,to be calm not aggressive ,but his arrogant come backs will get catch him out.
Carmel Correale Ah right yeah maybe. I feel like he kept the truth from his family as well and Aimee in particular has been desperate to believe it is real so the last few days been really hard on her. But presumably the aunt/uncle consider that either way it bring bad name on the family so they aim to get him off.
If OP was screaming for intruders to "get the f#** out of my house", and slowed his pace as he drew closer to the curve in the bathroom leading towards the toilet, Reeva would have heard his screaming at the intruders, and OP's slowed pace would have allowed her time to call 911. She would have called out to OP that she called 911, and the intruder hearing she called 911 would have attempted to leave the house rather that await the arrival of the police. BUT, OP in his rage, ran after Reeva so fast she didn' t have time to punch in the password to her phone and call 911 to protect herself from OP.
Pistorius testified that he activated the alarm system throughout the house prior to retiring. This included the lower floor, stairwell, and entrance leading to the bedroom, Only the bathroom had no alarm. That the alarms did not go off confirms that intruders did not invade those areas. Pistorius was aware of that fact. Why did he advance toward perceived danger rather than flee with Reeva through the safe area?
Yes it 's how they are raised. Always saying he was treated = as the others. He must have been a precocious child. Did he ever get a SWIFT kick in bum with one of his own prosthetics? His acted as though his better than others because of his lack of legs the the world owes HIM!?
One thing I can't get me head round and Nel for some reason never tested OP on it was, when OP said he was approaching the toilet door and shouting and screaming "Get the f**k outta my house" and "Reeva get down and call the police" (which were his EXACT words) why was she STOOD behind the door and not cowering as low down as she could be? If his version was fact she would definitely have a) called out to him and b) hid as best she could....the man is lying and if he gets away with this NO ONE in their right mind would visit a country where you can get blown away 'by accident'.
There is NO evidence this was premeditated murder or intentional in anyway. The state's case is based on the fact that Pistorius's version was "not possible" but this is not the case and they not proved this. Nell's tactics are nothing more than trying to pick on language mistakes or catching him out on memory but who would not make mistakes when recounting any incident We are human. The whole time Pistorius has said the same thing! The state have changed their version more than once. The stomach contents issue is not conclusive, there is already plenty of evidence that the cricket bat was used AFTER the gun shots re: wood grain splitting etc., there is no evidence it occurred when he was on his stumps. The prosecution witnesses have contradicted each other and on more than one occasion refused to make concessions when it is reasonable to do so. The prosecution are completely ignoring that humans are unpredictable in their nature and do behave irrationally and idiosyncratically at times and are not "normal". Nell has made many errors himself; (just one off the top of my head saying that the printed words "compact disc" on the front of the disc tray of the hifi was an LED light and insisting this indicates that the machine was found to be on.) Not only is he making mistakes because he is desperately trying to make arguments based photos that are unreliable but because he too is human! There is so much more I can say but I wont. All the people that are judging Pistorius negatively are doing it because they are letting anger outweigh their view, or because it is an "improbable" occurrence. But Improbable and outlandish is not impossible. All I can say is imagine if he had done it the way he said it happened. How would you expect him to behave.........? EXACTLY as he has done so. If you are going to reply with insults that says more about you than me.
The weight of the improbability though is just too much. It's got to be 'beyond a reasonable doubt', and Oscar's (and more importantly Reeva's) actions that night just could not reasonably have occurred. Mainly, Reeva would have answered him.
The witnesses heard the screams. He flat out denied ever shooting the gun out of the sunroof and the gun in the restaurant. There was testimony giving evidence that he had. If you look at the the bullet pattern you can see how he shot the first bullet, and then readjusted his aim and shot 3 more times. It was an execution. True, tragic accidents happen. But this is not the case with Oscar Pistorius. I'm sorry but let's get real for a minute.
The thing is that most of Nel's cross-examination consisted in portraying OP as a reckless individual who never takes responsibility for anything, and Nel did a brilliant job at doing that. The shooting at the restaurant being the prime example here : OP factually had a gun in his hand, OP fired a shot from that pistol in a public place, the gun could never have fired on its own and yet he systematically refused to admit that he did fire and had his finger on the trigger. He basically blamed the trigger but not himself. The state's case has in fact shown and proved that OP is making up stories on the go, inconsistencies are everywhere to be found and obviously OP does not take responsibility for anything. Nel has made that part perfectly clear. I think that the next attack of Nel will be to actually elaborate on the circumstances that eventually led to OP shooting Reeva and that's where he will propose the motive for why OP shot her. That's the part where Nel will really hit OP hard and where it hurts.
*Where was the magazine rack?* *WHY did Oscar LIE about where the magazine rack was?* 5/11/14 (5:54 pm) Oscar LIED about where the magazine rack was because he wanted to make it SEEM LIKE the police TAMPERED with it but forensic knowledge and evidence let us know that the magazine rack was in a place other than where Oscar SAID it was. Nevertheless, Oscar LIED about the magazine rack because he wanted to make it SEEM like the police TAMPERED with SO MUCH stuff so HE could get off scott free but as I stated earlier, Oscar's VERY OWN bail application AND his OWN testimony CONVICTED him a LONG TIME AGO!
You would think so however the worst situation for Reeva's family they did not get justice because the judge was pro OP from the get go and everyone knew she wasn't going to throw the book at him and he was going to get away with a very light sentence lm surprise he was convicted of murder if was truly up to the judge he would have gotten probation. This judge was totally smitten by Oscar P. Unbeleivable!
@@judystanko3470 exactly … when you have connections you’ll get away with these crimes and he has connections it made me sick everytime she stopped just because he started crying when Nel asked him a tough question .
In my opinion the motive was she was calling the police for his abuse towards her and wasn't going to have that. Negative police contact and abusing Reeva would ruin his career and under no circumstances was this women or any person destroying his hardwork and career. He didn't want all.of his admirers knowing that he was a crazy lunatic that has a very short fuse. This incident would have put the cherry on the cake on all the other incidents that were brushed under the rug I would like to mention Reeva would have been believed in her allegations towards him and he knew this and was having No part of it. This is why he shot and killed her he snapped and couldn't stop himself from going all the way.
That wry smile from the judge just after Mr Nel's bold statement; a small hint to her current sway in the case? 1:15:05 Mr Roux has a point, but she just smiles and allows Mr Nel to say 'yes, in fact, the court will make this finding.' I wonder... added: watch Mr Oldwage (Pistorius' other top attorney) just after the judge smiles and allows it too, he doesn't take his eyes off her, then looks at Mr Roux who shakes his head and then he writes something down. It's just an interesting sequence in my opinion
Mr.Nell, you have totally 110% convinced me. outstanding cross

Isn't that the truth? Funny.
He snapped.
Yes she was a great person, but how does any of that apply to the facts of the murder charge?
Yes opposites don't attract and op was a sore loser. He lost it with Reeva and she was never expecting this. She was such a lady that she wanted to meet him face to face and go their separate ways amicably most likely. But he wasn't having any of this. So just in a rage I do believe he snapped by murdering Reeva deliberately.
Of course she wasn't going to put up with his crap anymore and his pornography addiction. They weren't even together as long as he makes out they were i.e. she wasn't that into him since she didn't tell her family about him.

Yeah i agree - flicking through porn websites doesn't even begin to explain the events. nearly everyone does it.
I don't think he's a guy that has been obsessed by sexual or graphic violence or we would have heard about it.

If she went to break up with him, why did she bring him a gift for valentine's day?
The most ridiculous defence style I ever heard. According to Oscar, the last time Reeva said a word, was when Oscar woke up. She said "you cant sleep baba". Even when he pump bullets on her, SHE KEPT QUIET!!!!!!! What a lot of NONSENSE!
🤣🤣🤣
And he was dressed!? Omg the more I watch this the more angry I seem to get. He is insulting everyone's intelligence how dare he. This doesn't take a genius
l1ngo what do you mean? He slept in shorts and threw on a shirt after he found her....

***** I did wonder - very good.
I think they had an argument, possibly about her seeing her ex boyfriend a few days prior (a big one at that, considering how possessive he has been described by others), she ran to the toilet with her phone and was in the process of trying to call someone for help. That could be his motive for shooting.
It was never proven they had a fight.

Grande Latte they dont have to prove that they had a fight.(the motive) just that it was deliberate.
***** they have to prove the intention ... ..and state is struggling for it as they dont have proper facts for it
i think he murdered her cold blood in a fit of rage.
He was sentenced, he was sentenced to five years....first....
Nel: "Why would you fire at the magazine rack?"
OP: "I thought it was the door".
So, has he shot everything in his house that moves?
Sick.
really? where did u see this? who is she
Has he a new girlfriend?
He does have a new girl friend......how could he even think of having one at a time like this......and going to the shooting range....i would have PSSD even looking at one or even handling one......and he made jokes about a water melon and brains......
Hold on the video footage of the visit to the shooting range was BEFORE this happened wasn't it??? Also, does he really have a new girlfriend??
Darren , he does have a new girlfriend. He went to shooting before he murdered Reeva. But immediately getting a pr company showed his remorse is 0.
I agree, judge has been siding with op the whole time. She practically wipes his tears.
You are so right the judge was no judge.

Carrie Aldighieri Well said Carrie!
Oscar could not possibly believe god would help him cover his crime.
if that Judge does her stupid little smiley rat face and finds Oscar innocent of all charges, I have no faith in SA justice system.
a south african friend of mine says the SA justice system is a joke and the sawed off runt will walk. Let's hope she is mistaken.
you shouldnt to begin with specially when your the first on the scene scrwe up everything and a detective with his own charges gets to work ..later gets paid by vanity fair to give interview ...that is enough that same system allowed him to work dont be surprised if you goes free because of some technicality
SA Justice Systems is an absolute joke … after all of these evidences he was only sentenced for 5-6 years ?
Funny, in his heightened state of panic, he knew the code to get into his phone but later when all had calmed down, he no longer could remember the codes.
Good point. And he also forgot his Apple ID password...
OSCAR KILLED HER IN A FIT OF RAGE , END OF STORY
OP:In retrospect it had to be the magazine rack cause the door didn't open, my lady.
liked the "wood movement" defense strategy he used there.
Or should I say "the perceived danger of the 'wood movement'"
NEL: so whydid you fire if the magazine rack moved?
But I believe
Oscar Pistorius will be aquitted because he planned the perfect defense. He's a
spectacular Narcissist.
Reeva
He is guilty and GOING DOWN !!!!

If the blub wasn't working in the bathroom then she could have taken her phone for light.
He probably had a headache watching Oscar breakdown every 5 minutes with his crocodile tears …
Poor thing, he had to say that he kept screaming because the neighbours heard screams that night!
Has anyone listened to the song "Through" by George Michael? The words are so aptly fitting for OP when he is found Guilty! I think if there is ever a film produced, they should use this song and maybe even the title.
wow...so true...thank you Cheryl, you did put a soundtrack on the Pistorius saga.
If you run for your country and became a national hero, now this is the time you run for your life,it's for real and the State will make you run without your prosthetic legs you will never get very far...
The judge was not fit for this case. At all. Hope she's in retirement
Just a thought, has anyone else considered he may have pulled her jeans off her and thrown them on the floor when she was getting dressed to leave?
36:41
OP - "I don't remember where the panel was."
GN - "But the magazine rack was to the right of the panel...?
OP - "Yes, my lady..."
Well, if you don't remember where the panel was..?
Oscar Pistorius Trial: Tuesday 15 April 2014, Session 1
Reeva's fingerprints should be on the window (of course there could be older fingerprints of her)
Reeva locked the door to keep OP out! Just another simple fact. Doesn't OP sound like a 4 year old sticking to his story?? Hw can't tell WTF Nel has uo his sleeve. Then when he's caught, that wimpy voice appears...
Interesting facts: Steenkamp was a keen horse rider until she broke her back in a fall in her early twenties and had to learn to walk again
Pistorius.
his entire story is one big huge lie. And it's filled with so many holes if you drove over the you need for pairs of shocks.lol
HA HA BA BA HA HA HAAA.!!!!!!
ain't that the truth he doesn't On-Q-better known as one-off
Some idiots still believe he’s innocent after all of the evidences shown in court .
Judge : "just assist me, where is left and where is right?" oh dear
It's a valuable question because looking at a photograph of let's say the bed which where they constantly speaking of which side reeva slept and where Oscar got up. The left and right position of the bed would constantly change pending if u looked at the photo or if u immerse yourself into the scene the left and right would change.
First rule of firearms Identify Your Target no excuses. She's locked in the
toilet with her cell phone doesn't answer when he calls out but is heard screaming
by a neighbors before the lethal shots are fired and we're supposed to believe
this isn't first degree murder. Sound of one hand clapping here. There is
someone coming out to attack him by the name of Nel.... hats off to you sir.
*About Reeva Cell Phones being in the toilet...*
5/11/14 (4:03 pm)
I believe that Oscar PUT Reeva's cell phones in the toilet with her to make it SEEM like Reeva already had them in there.
Truth will out! Anybody could tell he was lying the first time he started crying. Give him life (in prison).
He was afraid there was a threat on his life, from someone locked in a bathroom...
Lol I came back to this case in 2021 just to read the comments
@@optoms1178 I'm just high
That question from Nel made no sense, why would Reeva take her jeans off in a rush to get out of OPs house, she would be putting them on not taking them off!
why do you need to put jeans on to got to the bathroom? the whole case is a mess
JULIANA anddrade
Why do you need to lock the door of the toilet if the only other person in the house is your boyfriend?
Averagebum Bum that's what I keep saying. So true.
Averagebum Bum Exactly. That's one aspect that I cannot get past. Especially if it requires the turning of a key to lock it. It's one thing to press a lock button on the door handle.... I have never locked a door when my boyfriend(s) stayed over or I stayed at their house(s). Bizarre.
Averagebum Bum
Imagine that an intruder was already in the apartment - then a lot would be explainable: did OP have an enemy? He's really shattered his life!
He hears the noise in the bathroom. But he said that Reeva doesn't make a sound or call out when he shoots in the bathroom. Find that very hard to believe.
i see they have the door in court, wow, did they have the shower in jacob zumas case? overkill
Peeped through the door, where a small piece of wood came off,saw Reeva's head on the toilet pot, while the lights are off?.........
Why phone Stander first and not 911 ?
Token : he wasnt a doctor , he was the silverwoods estate manager
If your a Burglar wouldn't you go thru the 'open' balcony doors if you think the house is empty, also they would probably take a dump before robbing the house!
this may be the most pitiful scene I ever saw.
1:15:05 - Nel: "...the court will find..."
Roux quite rightly objected to that presumptuous statement and the judge upheld his objection.
I'll go even further. This judge has now given the impression that she has told Mr Nel what her finding will be.
So, the "wood was moving", could have been the door, the window, magazine rack or anything else with wood.
How convenient.
May be he was a hero at one point , but now he is a zero .
Fahad Shemari Al very true our actions sometimes define our raise and fall but othertimes it also can be circumstances
Rage sees no resoning
*The LORD showed Me the Prosecutor's CLOSING STRATEGY!*
*Prosecutor Nel's CLOSING of CROSS EXAMINING Oscar Pistorius!*
Did the Prosecutor's closing MAKE SENSE?
written 4/19/14 (9:16 pm)
I couldn't help but NOTICE how TACKY Prosecutor Gerrie Nel's CLOSING seemed in CROSS EXAMINING Oscar Pistorius but was it TACKY or a (convicting) CLOSING STRATEGY?
I wonder if no one has ever pulled their partner's pants off before sex! Why doesn't anyone think about it?
My Lady appears to feel sympathy for the defendant! Not a good sign!
Yeah. Maybe she has the hots for him. You never know.
cheryl foster you say it !
I agree
Did Roux get BORED with Oscar's testimony and FALL ASLEEP?
Look at 50:38 Seems to Me like Roux is ASLEEP on the job.
written 5/11/14 (4:02 pm)
Quote by Nel ''She took her jeans OFF to leave the house because she was getting dressed in a hurry" Yes, we all hastily disrobe before leaving the house ? Nel has lost the plot .. again.
Nel has achieved exactly what he set out to do with his semantics. It's an art making truth look like untruth. Methinks Milady is a little too smart to be suckered into that, unlike the peanut gallery :)
Yawn.
I don't think its going very well for the State right now.
correct, he is very consistent with his disregard for the safety of the deceased before letting off a fire arm four times.
@@paulathienides1376 The ostentatious behavior of men in front of their girlfriend can lead to a strong crackdown, "to catch one's man!" - The only stupid and fatal thing is, that she got into the bathroom/toilet without his knowledge.
@@hildejutta1625 your logic is flawed as his behaviour was not in front of his girlfriend. as he testified, he had no idea where she was.
@@paulathienides1376 This doesn't have to happen in front of the girlfriend, it's an overall condition: the adrenaline level is already high, because of the new love and the man is braver than he would otherwise be - regardless of where she is - he acts as a protector!
So, Reeva went to the bathroom, opened the window then went into the toilet and voided her bladder -- Wouldn't OP hear her flashing the toilet?
Nothing strange there
The Law says identify the intruder if he is an intruder before shooting. And also fire warning shots if they are not carrying a weapon.
He killed her on purpose
You are so right . GUILTY!
Instead of shooting first, he could of asked who was in his room
This is CRAZY. He heard one noise, one noise and he was running around crying and screaming and in despair and in terror...CRAZY BULLSHIT.
He claims to have gone out onto the balcony to scream for help, yet when the guard called he said everything was OK, and the first person he called was a female lawyer friend of his, not emergency services. When you tell the truth you don't have to have a good memory; when you lie you have to keep track of all your lies.
then did he not hear the toilet flush?or did she not flush?or did she not actually use the toilet?
OSCAR you DESERVE JAIL!!!
This Judge is way too sympathetic to OP and I think he will walk!!!
I couldn't agree more! She's constantly jumping in to defend him whenever Nel asks a 'hurtful' question. definitely got a soft spot for him.
Alysha Tatum i think that her being protective of him is a part of her job, and does not mean a thing for the outcome of the trial.
julietavalon As long as it doesn't affect the outcome of the trial I don't mind. I just worry she'll let him off easy because he's so "emotional"
Carmel Correale
Ah right yeah maybe.
OP said he shouted to Reeva to call the police but at no point did Reeva answer to him, but he carried on shooting through the bathroom door. lol
tell the truth oscar,man up
Yes it 's how they are raised. Always saying he was treated = as the others. He must have been a precocious child. Did he ever get a SWIFT kick in bum with one of his own prosthetics? His acted as though his better than others because of his lack of legs the the world owes HIM!?
do you think he did it?
🔑🙅🚪🚽🔫👺
*Where was the magazine rack?*
*WHY did Oscar LIE about where the magazine rack was?*
5/11/14 (5:54 pm)
Oscar LIED about where the magazine rack was because he wanted to make it SEEM LIKE the police TAMPERED with it but forensic knowledge and evidence let us know that the magazine rack was in a place other than where Oscar SAID it was.
We should see the right verdict given here with the Judge being the one who has to pass judgement. A good system, better than having a jury.
Can someone please tell me what the motive is for murdering her is?!!!!! I'm still not hearing that definitively >_
Mr Roux has a point, but she just smiles and allows Mr Nel to say 'yes, in fact, the court will make this finding.' I wonder...
added: watch Mr Oldwage (Pistorius' other top attorney) just after the judge smiles and allows it too, he doesn't take his eyes off her, then looks at Mr Roux who shakes his head and then he writes something down. It's just an interesting sequence in my opinion
