Andre Klebleyev, a legendddddd. He documented the whole journey and the hardships along with it. That was one of the most emotional builds because of the highs and lows. What made it more relatable was the shared difficulty we shared with Andre, in the sense that there's often dreams we want to achieve and more often than not, we have resources that limit us. Andre went all out on a budget he pulled from his ass, that's what made the car more relatable. I went to sema and I met Andre, I drove 15 hours to Vegas and when I saw the car, shit didn't line up and it did look a little rough but honestly when I looked at longer, I remembered that everything he did was documented and I knew every dent and misaligned panel. Spoke to him briefly, cool guy and super relatable. I am glad he moved on to do more projects and builds that he enjoys, the skyline and lotus builds still have me locked in because I got myself an Exige ages ago and I've been dailying my GTT since 2017. To the new owner, lovely job on finishing up the car and making sure it reached completion!!!
They don't give Andre enough credit for this car, really. There was a metric fuckton of work that went into the build and I believe - the majority of it that was required for a GTR "replica". Aside from that, they've butchered the color scheme. And it looked much better with the gutted interior without this carpet at the back.
Followed andre build. Got dissapointed since car only had same vinly and nothing else
@@markasviciulis1057 The livery also got changed. Andre's blue was closer to what the game had. Ofc. the more accurate kit required repainting but it could've been done differently. At least the LS is up and running, so that's impressive.

The original builder was andre klebleyev
Correction: the E46 M3 GTR is a GT2 class racer, alongside with Porsche 911 GT2, and the engine is the P60B40 flat-plane crank V8, producing 450hp in the early version and reached 500hp in it's final iteration, with the mandatory restrictors....... According with AC schnitzer (BMW's factory team), the engine, on it's unrestricted form, could rev to 9000+ RPM, reaching outputs from 600 to 700hp....... And to make more interesting, in order to compete, at first, the GTR had to be sold in at least two continents, in order to participate, later on, it had to sold at least 1000 units, in order to make it legal, that's when BMW pulled the plug on the V8 and went back to the straight 6, the P54B30, although, PTG, a private team that was backed by BMW, used the M5 engine, the P62B44, but this engine was cross-plane variant, pushing 520hp......

For me as a bmw enthusiast i wish the bmw e39 540i got some more love within the car community its such a under rated car with so little to no builds on social platforms. Especially considering USA has alot bigger variety of aftermarket parts for them from dinan etc. Which cost a arm and a leg to get in countries ouside of the US

Ford GT90 from one of the firsts need for speed. 1 car ever made in real life, v12 quad turbo, 0-60 3.1s and is a car from the 90's. Thats the dream build and there's almost no content on youtube. But if that's too much best option I can think apart from the M3 is the Nissan 350z from need for speed underground 2. Rachel's car, that's most iconic after the M3
Nearly all cars in the Blacklist are so cool. I would love to see "Websters" Corvette in reallife, but you could start with "JV"s Viper, you already have one of those laying around.
Eddies r34 from nfsu is pretty iconic. It was one the cover and it was recreated once by ea to promote the game
Honestly a build of Razors Mustang from Need For Speed Most Wanted would be a real interesting change of pace from all the JDM builds done at Throtl. If there is any car to cruise with the M3 from NFSMW, it's gotta be Razors car.
Most wanted is not the only appearance of the M3 GTR, it also is playable on NFS Carbon, Most Wanted from 2012, Edge, Payback, Need for Speed, Heat and Unbound.
I watched the original build of that car on YT before... haha, this dude took it to the next level!

Also, the E46 BMW M3 GTR is playable in the updated version of Need for Speed Most Wanted for PS3, which also has Dom's charger from the Fast franchise, and Han's Lexus LFA he drove in Fast Five.
There's a bunch of videos of Akira Nakai coming stateside to build RWB Porsches, would be cool to see him in the Throtl garage making the one from NFS 2015!
Here's a car design idea for you, like on grand tourismo a AWD with a powerhouse of a motor in a car with active aero panels on the car for better control of the downforce in the turns and less drag on the straights, and can also be used for breaking at high speeds
You got the 350z from nfs2 the R34 from NFS or the eclipse from the intro of the NFS

There are cars that perform better but this one just feels different,I fell for it the moment I played the game.
I used to play that game for hours. I loved that car! You guys are spot on with this one! Simply amazing. That car just sounds dangerous! God I would love to test drive that thing, even just once. The detail and amount of hours on that ride right there were so worth it! Good job guys!

In the game it was very much based off a real life car. The livery in the game was made for the game but the car with the body kit, engine, gutted interior, and every other part was modeled directly after the 2001 M3 GTR
absolutely love the build! One small change that would be sick, if he did some equal length headers to give it more of a Euro V8 sound instead of American V8. But still amazing car!

Shout out to Andre Klebleyev. Man really was the first to start the NFS Most Wanted M3 GTR builds on TH-cam. He also built the Cross C6 Corvette, but got in trouble for it.
Why he got in trouble?
Honestly most of the iconic cars from video games are just your regular iconic cars and it wouldn’t really be recognized as a Video Game Car but more as an awesome car, like NSX, Nissan GTR or Ford GT LM2 from Grand Turismo. Now for easily recognizable iconic video game car outside of the BMW M3, the only other one that truly fits the bill would be Rachel’s car from NFS Underground 2 and her green Nissan 350Z.
if you are gonna build a video game car, it needs too be the : Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak.
That car on gran turismo 2 (i could be remembering wrong) But that car was AMAZING. it was just so way more powerful and better than anything else.

pretty rad to see. cleanest one ive seen by far. i just wished it used a bmw v8 to keep it as close to a gtr as possible. a s65 from the m3 wouldve been amazing and headers and a plenum wouldve been amazing or an engine from a early m5. overall super cool and love to see it.

y'all should do one of the NFS Underground cover cars, either the R34 GTR from the first Underground or the 350Z from Underground 2, other cars that would be sick would be the Custom Coupe Ultimate/Kitano Hydros from the Burnout games, the Road King from Flatout 2 or Tanner's Challenger from Driver San Francisco. If non racing games are on the table then like the escape van from Payday 2, Jacket's car from Hotline Miami, Lo Wang's Nissan Fairlady from the Shadow Warrior remake, Idk the sky is the limit when it comes to digital cars.
I won't mind the rims as they're hard to get, but what gets me mad is the bonnet grill vinyl alignment part wrong...
But hey, thats an amazing build. Good job 👍🏻

Should Make Eddies Nissan Skyline R34 from Most wanted. Its loud and Proud Orange with very sick graphics...I feel like next to the BMW and Crosses Mustang, Eddies Skyline is the next most Iconic.
I would say most iconic cars from games that I played as a kid would be this BMW, the 350z (NFS U2), or the Charger RT from DRIVER San Fransico!!!!! Best games ever growing up in early 2000s Hands Down!!!!! So any one of these cars have my approval to make!!!! 😁😉😍

I can’t think of any other video game cars that would be instantly recognisable! The Pennzoil GTR was iconic in Gran Turismo but that’s a real car. I actually got inspired a long time ago to build a Captiva Blue EG6 SiRII because in Gran Turismo you win one right at the start and it pretty much lasts you the whole game modifying it as you go. Mine ended up the same as every other turbo B16 😂 💣
Eddie's NFSU Skyline GTR will be a good choise, but maybe you can grab a GTT and try to recreate the actual bodykit, maybe a collab with streethunter to make an underground inspired wide body kit, it will be a good sema project for next year

15:16 Two weeks ago I made my first purchase from Throtl (Intake & BOV for my Elantra GT) and I was surprised when they were delivered next day. Sadly there’s not much support for my car other than lowering springs, anti-roll bars, and brake pads/calipers so I’m not sure when my next order will be.
