Josh was super excited to meet Bucky and spend time with him. There was a lot going on, and I had to cut some of the meet and greet experience out of the video because it was already so long
I can imagine the whole thing was overwhelming. But he couldn't get that smile off his face, and I've seen some videos of him on the track with his new car
The highlight of the video for me was how dope and humble Bucky is to show up and allow you guys to use his amazing 2.5 RS as an outline and even help you guys out on getting the wide body just right. The car came out phenomenal.
There aren't enough clean ones left of them around for any youtube exposure to have much discernible effect. I suspect that if anything drives the price up of these long term it will be their scarcity, jdmness, and the inevitable move towards electrification. These cars are just cool and the Market will start to wake up to that. Unfortunately I slept on my car crush and they are no longer affordable now that the Market woke up (Alfa GTV6)

Was the first car I ever bought by myself. Was 18 when I bought it and just about 3 years ago let it go for about 1/4 of what I could have got for it, to someone I thought was a friend. Worked out payment, and 3 years later I’ve gotten only $1k of it, and learned he traded it straight up to some guy for a fucking NA Miata on rotas … makes me sick to my stomach.. now I just try to focus my time on my Tiguan R though haha which has turned into a pretty fun little build. Not anything worthy of a throtl dream build, and would feel guilty if guys had to watch a build of a little VW crossover SUV 😂 taking up someone else’s shot Y’all are doing awesome things out here man 🤙🏼 so much respect for you guys, and support y’all to the fullest. Stay awesome and can’t wait to see what y’all do next 🙌🏼🙌🏼
At 27:36 , when the Subi is on the lift.... It reminds me of the Subaru Baja's with the front of the car being wrapped in that yellow color and the rear still having silver. The Baja's used to come in a similar colorway with a yellow and silver paint scheme. 😆😆👍🏼 Subi Baja's were so dope, I loved them!

I see u painting the lettering on the calipers. I seen one video where a guy sprayed black over the letters first then rubbed Vaseline over the lettering when it was dry, then painted everything. Rubbed denatured alcohol or acetone on the letters and it came out amazing.

@@benbartlett2983 These are pretty expensive parts they put on this car. They already have the sweepstakes cars to modify the drivetrain of, it wouldn't be smart for them to do that.
Pimp my ride, except pimp my ride was 100% a fake show. After the cameras were off they would rip out all of the high end tvs, electronics, and stuff they would put into the rides. The show was a marketing scheme for west coast customs and xibit.
Wow, the level of dedication and detail you went to for this build was incredible. To have all that care put into a car in only a week as well is something to comend yourselves on. Josh is lucky but very deserving of that car. You earned a subscriber outta me!

Car turned out gorgeous! The lip and the flaps really pop on that orange. The flaps for a custom widebody like that were really fun to design! Hope the install was easy and smooth! Congrats Josh!

Congrats to this dude and this amazing looking build! One of my dream cars is a 2004 subaru wrx definitely a bit jealous haha. Just found out today unfortunately my first car is basically no longer worth fixing. Got it from a family member and put about $1000 in repairs on it after i got it and it ran great for months, but it started to not stay on after turning over. It was a 2003 Chevy malibu, and it ended up having a water leak in the front which ended up flooding the Body control module over time and corroding everything apparently going to be a couple grand of work to fix it all with labor and parts. Guessing the leak was from when my grandparents owned it and when someone through a brick at the windshield and they had it replaced. There must have been a spot not weathered correctly or something which let water into the dash. I definitely don't have the money to save it so guess i will be walking to work again haha. I did it for 4 years I can do it again. Again, great work guys! I can't tell which end of the Subaru I like more the body kit made angle from the rear look amazing. Just hoping one day i can get something like that.
I love GC8s (I had one years ago) and this is one of the best builds I've ever seen! It rocks in every way. Outstanding transformation! I hope the owner is still mindblown whenever he sees it!
