The band was class act, professional, and genuinely decent, truly liked them. Class? They thanked all of us in security for doing what was "our jobs". May not mean much to most of you, but that became a very rare courtesy in small venues over last 20 years.
This song had just came out and was all over the radio when my husband kicked me and our kids out and moved another woman in. That was 20 years ago and I was devastated. Music has always been my therapy good or bad so I’m constantly listening to it. Listening to this song reminds me of surviving the most mentally painful moment of my life. Melissa, Well to me it just basically means that for example if you were in a relationship that person took everything from you, is like you gave them all without receiving anything or expecting anything back. However your partner just let a whole on you full of pain and disappointment, because while you were pretty busy trying to satisfy your partner you ended up forgetting about yourself and also end up hurting yourself. I haven't heard this song in a long long time. Maybe 10 years, but I was driving home from work and I had the radio on for some reason and it came on and I transported back to 2006 when my wife was still alive and we were alot younger. She freaking loved this song and I at the time was like no way, I'll stick to my Slayer and Exodus, but she had me play it on my stereo real loud and I gave it a chance and the chorus with that hook got me and ill be damned I loved the song. We used to listen to it back then and before the kids and everything. Reminded of a time that seems like it was just yesterday and actually was along time ago. She passed a year ago in April suddenly and it brought back all this memories from our times when we first met and all the hard memories of her month long slip into eternity. Now it's our 14 year old daughter and I trying to pick the pieces back up. We are lost but we have each other. Breaking Benjamin's "Breath" is simply one of the greatest rock songs of all time. The instrumental arrangement is brilliant, the lyrics are intelligent, the music manages to capture that sadness of being a helpless and depressed young man in a poetic way. I think "Breath" is an unfairly underrated song.

I will never scroll past this song without watching. Been a fan since their start, I was a sophomore in high school circa 2002, I just lost my mother to cancer the year before and this band saved my life.

I haven't heard this song in a long long time. Maybe 10 years, but I was driving home from work and I had the radio on for some reason and it came on and I transported back to 2006 when my wife was still alive and we were alot younger. She freaking loved this song and I at the time was like no way, I'll stick to my Slayer and Exodus, but she had me play it on my stereo real loud and I gave it a chance and the chorus with that hook got me and ill be damned I loved the song. We used to listen to it back then and before the kids and everything. Reminded of a time that seems like it was just yesterday and actually was along time ago. She passed a year ago in April suddenly and it brought back all this memories from our times when we first met and all the hard memories of her month long slip into eternity. Now it's our 14 year old daughter and I trying to pick the pieces back up. We are lost but we have each other. I hope everyone has a good day and tell your people you love them because they can leave anytime. I never thought it would happen to us like this but life is unrelenting. Take care 🤝

Breaking Benjamin's "Breath" is simply one of the greatest rock songs of all time. The instrumental arrangement is brilliant, the lyrics are intelligent, the music manages to capture that sadness of being a helpless and depressed young man in a poetic way. I think "Breath" is an unfairly underrated song.

I seen them live last summer with halestorm, the pretty reckless, seether, etc. it fucking the best day of my life. I was in the mosh pit area so close to him me n my sister made sure we squeezed through. breaking benjamin one of my favorite all time bands!
