Perfect example of how NOT to repair a tyre. So many mistakes! This repair will fail. Guaranteed. 1. Use spiral tool instead of insert tool to check injury direction. 2. Use carbide cutter instead of insert tool to prepare injury. 3. Rotate in one direction only while going in and coming out. 4. DO NOT TOUCH HREY GUM ON PATCH WITH HAND. 5. Use 36 grit rasp to get RMA 3 level buffing. Anything more will damage the tyre. 6. Clean buffed area with a cleaner (rub clean / rub o mastic etc) before applying CvF
Yes. You are absolutely correct. This guy is totally wrong. We are doing this for many years. I am a distributor for this OMNI products. He is using CVF on the gray cushion that is also very wrong.
