  • Come check out all of the release details of our ATC @ pwncnc.com/atc
    Thanks for watching our release video for the Automatic Tool Changer on the Onefinity Woodworker Elite. We demonstrate how the ATC works along with how our MTC (manual tool changer) will work. Also shown is the V9 Dust Boot working with the tool changer for perfect dust free woodworking. There are lots of details how our system is put together along with the engineered safety controls incorporated into the manual tool change. Be sure to follow the links below that were mentioned in the video.

    This company fits so perfect with the oneinfinity group as it's pushing the boundaries of what consumer cnc products are. Love this product!

    What a fantastic system! This has for sure taken a "hobby" CNC machine into the realm of a full commercial/production capable product. I think PwnCNC should just take over all research and development for Onefinity.

      The last thing we'd want is to have a tool with a sharp bit flying out at customers spinning 24k. Safety is very important even though these are extremely unsafe hobby level machines.

    Consider adding a foot switch option for tool release. So you can have both hands free. Even if it is an upgrade option. Or can you make a mountable option somewhere on the spindle

    Looks amazing! Would be cool to add a tool straight magazine that stays off bed when not using to save space.(like planning tool)

    In setting mine up over the past week I was following your instructions setting up the spindle and seen that your using a controller that attaches to the masso....was this an additional buy because mine didnt come with one

    How will the tool holders hold a large diameter slab flattening bit.

    CNC newbie here. I have looking at getting a one finity CNC, and instead of using the makita router, upgrading the spindle from the start seemed like a good idea. But understanding all of that is daunting. Can you make a video in plain english for newbies explaining everything step by step. What you are showing here looks like something i may want down the line. but maybe explain what my first purchase from your company should be. thanks

    How much cfm is needed for the compressor to run the pneumatics -- spec is 90psi but what about cfm? What would be the minimum, and what do you use? I know more is always better. Also, does air constantly run through the ATC spindle or does it stop when there is no tool in the spindle? I know some other units have air constantly running through the spindle whether running or idle. Thank you.

  • @smawhorter
    @smawhorter 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    So do you have to figure out beforehand what the depth of each bit is and enter that somewhere since it doesn't go check the Z height for each bit?

    • @PwnCNC
      @PwnCNC  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Correct, in our previous video I demonstrated how to load and set the z of each tool that has an assigned rack position.
      No need to re-zero every bit change, only during that initial tool change.

      Not yet but it is very high on my list. I’ve already been talking with them to identify exactly what’s needed to get it working for their machines.

    Can this be added to onefinity original series?

    • @PwnCNC
      @PwnCNC  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The original Onefinity's blackbox controller does not support ATC functionality. However, you can certainly install our ATC system onto the machine and use it in MTC mode. th-cam.com/video/IFOkSZM4JEs/w-d-xo.html
      This is actually how anyone can use the ATC assuming their machine can handle the additional spindle weight.

    I guess you are taking away some of the carving area with the ATC? If have a 48 x 48 CNC the ATC system will make it a 46 or 47 x 48?

    The price listed on the document I assume is the product price, shipping will be what shipping is?
    Will the air compressor be also part of the kit? Or be able to buy it directly? For folks like me, buying from one place and having it shipped in one go is better. Would the air compressor also have a 220v version for international buyers? Or would you recommend to buy a similar specification air compressor locally? Would there be a dry air attachment included to improve the air quality used by the compressor? Would that be available in 220v?
    Sorry if the questions seem repetitive. When ordering to Pakistan, I would want all parts to be in the kit so I only have to deal with customs once and pay 40%~200% tax based on invoice amount, rather than dealing with them for each component coming in from different sellers at different times. I have to ensure all appliances run on 220/240v.
    Would you offer vacuum pump for the cnc by any chance? It would make cutting aluminium easier with clamps

    How to you have so much clearance on the left side of your qcw?

    • @PwnCNC
      @PwnCNC  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve got the Woodworker size and its QCW the far left and far right mdf inserts are only a few inches wide. For these static tool racks, I’m using in this video they’re mounted where that few inch wide mdf insert would sit.
      Ive essentially loosing approximately 3” of X bed capacity with where I placed the tools.
      We will continue to research and offer various tool rack options as time continues. We know that no single option is right for everyone and want to offer customers the choice that fits their setup best.

    • @th3fallen
      @th3fallen 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PwnCNC i had no idea the woodworker had so much extra space over there, on the journeyman those far end slats are only 1.6" wide

    What the heck is the "braking resistor"?

    • @PwnCNC
      @PwnCNC  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Our default programming sets the deceleration timeframe to 6sec. This is how long it takes for your spindle motor to go from whatever rpm’s it’s running at to a full and complete stop. A braking resistor will drop that down to 3sec.

      @PwnCNC Currently, how much "x" space is needed to the left for the tool storage? (1.5", 2", more?)
      I'm putting in a series of 3/4" dogs and wanted to leave just enough space for this setup
