Don't over lube the rail or especially the center serving. LESS IS MORE Just a few drops on the rail then run your finger down both sides. Too much lube on the serving will make it separate.
Never put rail lube on the serving of a crossbow string. The serving WILL separate and your arrows nocks will slip on it upon firing. Only lube the rail in front of and behind the string. The serving will be lubed by the rail a tiny bit on the BOTTOM of the serving thats contacting the rail. Not the whole thing. AND ONLY USE WAX ON EXPOSED PARTS OF THE STRING. ONCE AGAIN, NEVER LUBE THE SERVING.

Only supposed to lube your bow in like 34 degrees or lower.
