50k is quite literally insane. Insulting really… either they need to figure out how to get parts and materials cheaper, make their manufacturing process more efficient, or they need to take less margin because the value you get for the price is laughable. Great machine, just maybe 15k overpriced.
I’m a Master Gold Tech of all brands. I rarely anymore am shocked by new vehicle.. At my work there’s 4 1’ deep washouts I always hit at 15mph to diag noise complaints. The 1500 rides over those ruts better than any unit and everything about it is upgraded to a rangerXP
The problem is, there are mid size trucks that are far more powerful, capable and comfortable with better tech for the same price and they're road worthy. If they didn't exist at that price point the excuses may be valid but they really do.
Tacoma offroad crew is what I bought to tow my boat, get to work, get the kids to school, grocery getter, take the family on vacations. get to my hunting land, mud riding, hauling my 2023 CTMoto Uforce 1000XL that I paid $16500 for. My 2022 tacoma 4wd crew and my 18' express w/115hp cost less than this thing. Rich folks love to look rich
My ranger 1000 premium is the most used thing on the farm. But 16k was a lot, but this one I’ll just suffer with no heat or a/c. I’d understand if they lasted like a Honda but I’m on my 3rd ranger and they could work on little reliability things. Engines and transmissions have been solid for me at least 😅
This one comes with a pricetag that says, "The ranchers are just going to write it off anyways." I would have liked to see it able to accept a fork loaded pallet.
@@dirttraxtv add a few more options and that quickly jumps to 75 then add taxes + pdi and those yadi yadi yadas and now you're at 85, not bad and i'll take 3
Love it, but as everyone here is saying, it is far too expensive for what you're getting. Get a Colorado ZR2 for almost the same price and it's not even close.
Yup, agree about the price. Lots of guys commenting about getting a truck instead. Just note that the people buying these machines already have a truck, a trailer, probably a boat or a snowmobile, property and just generally more disposable income than most of us. If I'm saying it's expensive (which I am), I am also admitting it is not within my own budget (which it is not).
So Ford and Chevy can build and sell full size work trucks, for cheaper than that. With way more power... And every single feature of the ranger, other than dumping bed... (ie Bluetooth stereo, hvac.. Doors and windshield bigger bed, and interior) and it can be crash tested for all the extra stuff that comes with highway registration, airbags, and a safety rating. .. I don't have a problem with things costing a lot to get a lot.. But they are legitimately screwing their customers just because they can. It's insulting
Mine has been in the shop ripped apart. Dealer finally located a leaking intake manifold. Cracked intake manifold. But head is off. Waiting on parts to fix it.
I love it but I would still pick a Jeep gladiator over it. Now to find the mod to make the Jeep bed into a dump bed. That dump bed is impressive. And you nailed it for who this is for and for them $50k is nothing.
I don't understand why Polaris hasn't made these street legal.. You can get a license plate by adding blinkers and a horn where I live and drive them in town.. Only then will I spend that much for one that comes from the factory road legal.. Catch up with reality Polaris! 🙄
Price is high for sure. We talked about this quite a bit last season. Reality is Polaris might not sell a billion of this model, but they'll sell every one they make. There s a market and a buyer for this unit and for the rest of us, there's so many other options that are more affordable. However, if you want this one, the price is the price.
The prices are REALLY GETTING RIDICULOUS. I know here in Maine the prices are TOTALLY RIDICULOUS. You folks in Canada have it worse than we do. THIS JUST ISN’T CLOSE TO BEING RIGHT
You are right. The only two types of people that buy them are 1) ones that don’t mind being in DEEP DEBT, or 2) a person who can pay cash for them outright. DO YOU AGREE?
This should be 35k max 😂 This is same price with terrible financial conditions as a decent financial 2 door jeep rubicon or a loaded midsized truck Bare in mind you can actually trade or resale the vehicle and no hoops for on road use or off road

How are people getting screwed? Just don’t buy one.
Can’t use my winch. There is a ground issue with the winch that can catch on fire. R-2402. Safety recall. No fix for it yet.

How can you use it to hunt with all that noise.
Most guys probably aren't shooting out the window while driving, so get there, hunt, get your game out with loads of power.

The federal regulations. For Safety and emissions is a lot to deal with
Helmets on inside the ranger 😂
Polaris requires them to use them while in their machine.
Besides being a good idea, in some places it's the law.
