Thank you, considering a car that has this. EDIT: Dayum! Looks nice! Hey, can you plz tell me whether the "Sync 4" you mentioned at the very end of the vid is a software update (therefore maybe available in the same vehicle in the future), or did you mean a later model (2022, 2023, etc.) of the Mustang? Thanks for any info.
Glad you enjoyed it! The Sync4 system has different underlying software/hardware so I don't think Ford will release an update to go from Sync3 to Sync4 unfortunately. Sync4 will eventually be released in a future model but I'm hoping that'll be the 2022 model year!
One thing i love from the Mustangs is they have CD player, which has become rare in modern cars and a shame. Gone those days when you played tape cassettes in your car but i hope i can always play CDs in cars. Lovely review, mate
Hmm been a minute since I've been in a previous gen Mustang.. From what I remember, when you search for an address it should also give you the option of setting it as your Home or Work address. I'd start there!
Any Mustang with this larger Sync3 screen has support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. If you're in the base GT or EcoBoost with the smaller 4" screen there's no way to hook up outside of bluetooth
With all the focus on the screen, and not the focus on the road, the 911 thing will be very important. What I’m saying is focus on driving safe and not the stupid tiny screen!
In Sync3 there would be - if you're in the base EcoBoost or GT with the smaller Sync screen you only have the option for bluetooth connections for calls/audio
Major fail not having wireless carplay in 2021.
I know right? The Mustang is supposed to be getting an upgrade in 2023 so I’m hoping for sync4
I agree, I watched a vehicle and followed the steps for using my iPhone without having to plug it in, and it didn't work. Maybe I missed something!
Does anyone know how to connect wirelessly after the initial install of Apple car play? I have a ‘23 and can’t figure it out
@@moviefan4life166doesn’t support jt
Does this year’s model (or 22/23) have a back up 360 eagle’s eye camera?
Not going to find that in the Mustang.. Would be a nice upgrade for the S650 for 2024 but won't know for another few months

Appreciate that! It is pretty neat that it was still included for this long! Going away by the look of it for the next S650 in 2024 though
My 2021 Doesn't have a CD player! Sucks!
Great video how do you change an existing "Home" address to a new one

Good work, I was trying to find how to get the air to blow towards the passengers.
Thanks, glad the video helped!
Does the usb have to be plugged into that port or can it be the one in the center console ? Does anyone know ?
Pretty sure the console one is not a data transfer port, so it would have to be the main port if you want to use CarPlay or Android Auto
it has to be plugged in to access apple carplay?
That's right, Android Auto and CarPlay have to be plugged in through USB
does the gt500 also have carplay
Yes it does! Wired the same as the rest of the lineup
I read somewhere the 2020 model also had android auto, is that true?

Good video man! I was looking for something like this
Thank you!

Yeah so true.. set it before you leave. Or.. use the voice assistant!
There is apple carplay in 2019 mustang ?
In Sync3 there would be - if you're in the base EcoBoost or GT with the smaller Sync screen you only have the option for bluetooth connections for calls/audio
Will it work for Android mobiles
Yup, Android and Apple compatible
