Myocardial infarction aka a heart attack is one of the first lessons you will go over as an EMT student. During EMT school you will go over what a myocardial infarction is, what are the cardiac risk factors for developing a heart attack, the signs and symptoms of a myocardial infarction, and how we treat them as an EMT.
At the Paramedic level, your treatment will become more advanced with more knowledge of medications and cardiology. Myocardial infarctions is one of the main reasons paramedics carry heart monitors and are taught how to read and interpret 12-Lead EKGs.
This video will give you an in-depth lesson on myocardial infarctions aka heart attacks so you can understand what it is, recognize it and treat it as an EMT or Paramedic.
    Be great,

I saw a STEMI surgery during my very first ER shift as a student EMT. Very cool process. Watching the dye flow freely through the arteries in the x-ray after they broke up the clot was so satisfying.

These videos should be in the video course and organized. Along with patient assessment examples to prep for skills tests. Do you plan to roll these videos into the program? Would be nice and helpful

    1) I absolutely love you teaching style and your content. Thank you for creating it!
    2) It was very off putting initially, but I’m starting to get more used to your T-glottalization accent. I can’t be the only one that notices that, right?

Just wanted to stop by and say thank you. I took my NREMT yesterday and got an email this morning saying I passed. It was my 2nd attempt, as I did not study for the 1st attempt. While not everything I learned from your channel was on that particular set questions (stopped me at 70), some of what I learned from your channel definitely helped me solve some of the questions I would not have otherwise been able to solve. I spent multiple days prior, and even crammed in a few hours just before the test, watching your videos to keep my brain fresh. So thank you for all that you do, and keep up the good work!
