Here after failing first NREMT-P attempt. Tough test. My first time failing anything on this level. I did almost everything wrong during the test process. NREMT-P also changed question formatting but still mostly multiple choice. I found that I have some knowledge gaps but more importantly, I didn’t go with my “gut”. I deliberated too much on certain questions. Evans programs are great.
Not only did your vault and free TH-cam vids get me through EMT school in my 1 month accelerated class I took in January.. I took my NREMT test in California this morning at 8am and the test stopped at 66! And I passed! Thank you for everything you do!
Passed on my first try thanks to paramedic coach! ✨ I start 911 next month. Thank you!! I’ll comment on every post so people know you’re the real deal!!
Passed mine two days ago. You WILL feel like you failed lol. I got cut off at 70 questions. I called my girlfriend right after and was like “yeah, I totally bombed it” two hours later I got the congratulations email. I used paramedic coaches resources, EMT prep, and Medic tests. Study content not questions. The questions were “normal”, but the answers were kind of odd. They give two off the wall answers, one very close answer and the correct answer. Normally the first answer you choose is the right one. Don’t second guess yourself.
My dumbass didn’t listen to my instructor and graduated from my EMT class end of December 2022 and I’m BARELY taking my NREMT exam in a couple days. She told us to NOT procrastinate on taking the NREMT after the class and that is exactly what I did. I hope I pass it man. I did well on my midterm and final exam but that was MONTHS ago
I took my NREMT last week and passed on 1st try. shut off at 70q. i watched alot of your videos leading up to the test and i KNOW it was a big help in the test. Thank you for taking the time to make these vid's!!
I'm starting EMT school in March and I'm so HAPPY I found you 😭 I practically flopped JC because I kept memorizing questions instead of learning the content. I'm taking a visualization approach to studying this year. I look forward to using your further advice 😊
i was really nervous , i watched a lot of your videos and studied and did a ton of practice questions , i did all 120 questions on the NREMT felt like i bombed it and was so worried , passed on first try . reviewing and doing practice made the test look so easy , the wording on the test was the main thing of how they can throw you off but other than that it was easy but i was still nervous.
Just got your video vault. Passed my EMR class last weekend. I wish I’d gotten this during my class as a supplement. I struggled and you help me with what I couldn’t understand. I was trying different study methods, but still lost. Then I realized I was studying to memorize questions. Now I’m using your method to actually learn the content not memorize the questions. Fingers crossed 🤞
I use to be a volunteer firefighter and im finally going to go get all my certs to get back and be a paid firefighter/emt. Waiting to interview for my emt academy in a couple months I watch the crap out of your videos
I failed the NREMT basic twice now. I’m on my last attempt. I have your program. I listen to your audio accelerator. I rushed the first two attempts and I won’t take the third until I know any thing within the 5 groups cold. Any advice or encouragement Evan?
Winston, make sure to follow the EMT NREMT study plan in the video vault go through it at least twice & then take the practice quizzes in the video vault for BLS.
You get 6 attempts total .. after your 3rd you need to take a refresher course like 24-30 hours . Than you get another 3 attempts.. if you fail all 6 than u need the take the whole EMT class over again ..
The national registry is making me take remedial training which has to be 20 hours state approved. Is this considered nremt approved? I have until April 30th to do this and take this test.
I'm in your program, but i'm curious... do you recommend flash cards? thats what helped me pass in school, but yes i failed my nremt first time lol, i feel like thats the way i learn but i see you said don't memorize, isn't flash cards basically just memorizing? i took notes throughout your course but i have also been working on the flashcards, idk what to do lol i dont feel like just re reading my notes will be enough!
About to take my NREMT in roughly two months and I’m very nervous. My school was more read the book on your own and study to memorize. Not really study to learn.
On the paramedic NREMT this year it has Braxton Hicks ROSC (don’t do the 12 GOATS, that’s not the correct order) Abdominal quadrants Heart tones Central cord syndrome Dystonic reactions Aspirin overdose Triamus Tadalafil Types of radios MHz Inotopic vs chronotropic Add some more if I missed any if you already took the test or know from classmates what’s on there and clarify what to focus on.

NREMT should not exist, if you can pass your state standards and tests you should be able to get your license without needing to take another exam
Fair enough, my state tends to adopt things early so our test is just the NREMT
NREMT is ridiculously stupid
Just passed my NREMT. I would binge your vids. Unbelievably helpful.
Great to hear! Congrats!
def gotta get a cheddar burger right after, if you passed.

RN to EMT here and I struggle with dropping my 20+ RN ER experience, any advice
What Kind of study methods do you recommend?
Any chance you have anything to offer regarding the new scenario-based multiple-answer-select question format for AEMT NREMT?
ADHD here, and scheduled to test at 1730 EST today. I definitely made sure I took my meds lol
