Having control over breathing is so important for all athletes. Great content!

So True! When I climb, I always focus on my breath, especially when trying to work on very difficult moves.

Breath holding is the best natural way I have found to eliminate acute drowsiness! Just hold your breath as long as you absolutely can and experience alertness like never before - adrenaline I would guess.
I guess it’s survival or something but the body is no longer concerned with sleeping after that!
Swimming: try swimming a pool length or two underwater. Even if dead ass sleepy you will come to!
Doing this I would feel like my body is foregoing sleep to make it to the other side and breathe ASAP!!
Also just take a deep breath and dead float a the surface. The air in your lungs keeps your body at the surface.
You can lift your head and take a breath indefinitely - “drown proofing”
    OR
Still holding your breath you can let some out and sink to the bottom.
It will be easier to hold your breath since you can’t just stick your head up and breathe like in “drown proofing”.
This is military training for pilots and special forces.
I was able to hold my breath 3+ minutes this way.
Also to get through sleepless night workdays.
    You’re welcome…

Nice. Just remember if you're ever in a pool or body of water practicing breath holding, make sure you have a spotter with you incase you pass out. They will save you from drowning. It's called shallow water blackout, also known as hypoxic blackout, about 20% of deaths from drowning are from shallow water blackouts. About 4,000 people die per year from drowning. I'm personally having fun with practicing holding my breath underwater. They say that you can hold your breath longer due to something called: Mammalian Dive Reflex

I met a girl that was a Wim Hof instructor, but never took the class. I did do some ice baths, which was a lot of fun.
