You said the word: masterpiece. It such is. HH and his band demonstrated they could discover the future with their musical journey. I love the way this is a techno track but still a jazz masterpiece. HH was way beyond his season on this one. Just amazing!!!
Jesus H. that was so mind blowing to see the song performed live...And the way the crowd was dancing to it. that's when Club music was still music played by bands. Expertly done by a Master musician and his group. He learned from the best...Miles D.
Sorry, but this was Tyne Tees studio in Newcastle. How do I know? I was there/ In fact you can see me in the video at 3:10, leaning on the speaker, bottom left!
@@johnd1466 I remember him has Grandmixer DST (Representing Delancy Street) and in recent posts he is calling HIMSELF Grandmixer DXT. Not sure why the change either ?
Chicago, mid-eighties, Limelight bar - had the "dancing legs" circling above the bar. "How absolutely cool," thought I - until I was introduced to GRACE JONES...Laid back and GROOVED on a rainy day!
en los primeros dias de clase en la universidad vi unos chicos con una grabadora tocando algo muy ritmico que jamas habia escuchado , mientras bailaban como robots , ...break dance !!!!
when i see this ,,dope ,, chill ham,,,they has all hiphop things .lisen scratch! that we know what a hiphop . there re hiphop , &any were scratch make whata doope 。 like cut what isit !fresh thx
hell ya, so distinctive sounding...Neil Peart (Rush drummer) had a full set behind his stool on a rotating platform with his sick massive Pearl DX acoustics up front- played BOTH sets as they revolved around him, during the YYZ solo! You physically could feel the rolls thudding into your chest! I was *there* front row, Moving Pictures tour '82. Almost got a broken stick tip in the forehead lol! Caught a pick Alex (guitarist) zinged right to me. Great show... Also, if I recall correctly, Rick Allen (Def Lep drummer) worked with Simmons to develop a custom designed set after he lost an arm rolling his Corvette...really gave them that distinct top/bottom syncopated sound. 💪🤘
