    why didn't you show the part where antifreeze is removed.. and while you were doing it... just replace the thermostat with a new one.

    Don't bother "checking" a thermostat. A replacement is only £10.

      Mine was £60 for a smaller yanmar engine than that.

      £10 is more than the market cost of these.
      Let me know if you need any more, I can supply and ship for £15 each
