I'm very happy with this run! I might be able to get sub 33 because I had death at EC2 and at AS2, but I don't think I will improve this any time soon.
Note: I accidently got into SC3 before SC2, lol.

I like how these stages still exceed in length over Sonic forces stages, even if they are being speedrun.
Forces has 2-6 minute stages

Not every stage. Some levels in Forces are 2 minutes which technically exceeds the speedran time of some of these levels. Of course if you don't speedrun Unleashed, yeah Forces is way shorter. But comparing speedruns to full levels is a tad unfair
@@nsvinci8368 I'd argue Unleashed has slightly weird lighting and Forces doesn't really look that bad, it's just the level design that held that lighting engine back. Graphically, Forces looks perfectly fine for a next-gen Sonic game
0:15 Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the amount of effort that went into these stages? Someone had to place down each one of those buildings you see down there when designing this level. I always knew that unleashed had the most effort put into its level design (in terms of aesthetic and immersion) but wow seeing them fly above the stage there made me realize the sheer scale.
Sonic unleashe's ability to put players into an enjoyment and make it feel realistic and immersive is unparalleled. And to top it off the levels all lasted it a decent amount of time and kept that high effort design throughout the entire stage. I swear the modern sonic games dont have even half of the soul that sonic unleashed had in its levels.
Its funny because the times this speed runner got through the levels in using skips are are actually the full length of some of the forces levels and its sad.

Unleashed is one of the greatest sonic games ever made. The haters are dying. No other boost game can touch unleashed and neither can sonic teams budget ever since they released this beautiful ass game

Sonic Unleashed.. long, fun, daytime stages last at least 4-6 minutes, it looks amazing, the music is better than any other sonic game, that's why this game is so amazing.

Hello.
Back around when Sonic Unleashed first came out, I was just casually running though Jungle Joyride.
Suddenly, I found myself out of the bounds of a 2D section where I was running through the sea skipping an entire platforming section.
Around 18:00 of this video, just before you reach the 2D section, I was somehow able to clip through or past the trigger that locked you into the next section.
I was never able to replicate it, and I don't know if anyone else has been able to do the same.
I don't know if it's of any use, but here you go.
