- This is my insanely strong Mage Hunter Faith/Strength build. It commits war crimes against casters and spammers.

I started using Siluria's Tree and I found it hilarious how common it was to 1 shot people that would spam the Mohgwyn's spear weapon art when I was out of range.
This video confirms it was not a fluke.
This weapon is a hidden gem and I love it.
This coming from someone who isn't the biggest fan of spears. I don't like their narrow hitboxes that can only hit one person at a time. In a gank you want wide sweeps.
Despite this I love this thing.
@@Drunk_Souls You can move the hitbox of spears or any weapon from left to right or right to left while attacking from a 180 unlocked.

Prolly because they see one video and in turn equip every blood loss item they find. Also generally speaking blood loss builds tend to work in PvE for practically the entire playthrough so you can't really blame them for thinking it'll work in PvP
My gripe is the moonveil. It’s still 50% of my invasions and arenas . Same generic moonveil build. I’ll take rivers and white mask over the moonveil weebs
Watching this is soul-cleansing for every seasoned invader.
And I love the 77 poise. 76+ poise is the most valuable breaking point, change my mind
Brooo this build is amazing ! Seluvia's tree is soo underrated and honest and ofc the tree sentinel shield is damn satisfying, easy and deadly to use

This was one of the weapons I thought would be nothing, and was surprised at how strong it is. Another is Gargoyle's Twinblade. Does large poise dmg.

Seriously, thank you for making this build and hopefully I didn't annoy you with all the suggestions! Now you know why this build is so hilarious to use in invasions, with how brain-dead some hosts can be with their spamming lol. And now you've convinced me to pick up Siluria's Tree from Ordovis's Greatsword.
How useful was Marika's Hammer during this build showcase? Maybe it's just me, but I almost never land its Ash of War. Should I drop it to make room for better armor?

I dislike spears or any poke weapons in invasions because they have narrow hitboxes that can only hit one person at a time. That is very bad when you're getting ganked.
In a gank, you want wide sweeping weapons that can stun multiple people at once.
Since spears can't do that, I keep marika hammer for a bit fat AOE when I'm getting swarmed. Without Marika hammer I would have no answer to getting swarmed.
@@Drunk_Souls i often use dual sleep weapons or pots to sleep em and land the spears ash of war full charge and let me tell ya i got alot of runes form this lol

Man I'm glad you said what you did at the beginning. When I first played a souls game, ds1, I was really interested in spellcasting. Int builds just got really boring but I fell in love with pyromancy. Black flame to counter turtles, fire tempest to counter gankers, and free aimed chaos fireballs to bring uniqueness and chaos to every invasion I did. Im glad int has gotten much more rewarding to play with an actual player skill requirement these days, I wish they would just get rid of like, 90% of the pew pews and replace them with more unique spells like we have for the other spellcasting types.
Small tip, but the crouch r1 is a sweep attack. Comes in handy. But yeah this was my favorite video from you in a while . Definitely a nice change in pace 👍would love to see more of this. Also on ur community post I seen a guy recommend using the omen bairn to self proc the great shield aow which would be dope
I swear, Elphael invasions are just the best every time. The area is just gorgeous and so beautifully interconnected with ladders, stairways, rooms, and roots. There are very few good places to gank, so you can easily draw out foes into areas that you have an advantage in. And there are tons of enemies everywhere, so you really feel like you are a part of the level trying to kill the player as you buff them with perfumes and charge up the stairs towards the Host, so good!
I actually don't care for elphael sometimes because it takes too long to find the host. And the spawns are awful.
But other than that it's a very nice level

Would love to see more of this build! It's 1 of my favourites of yours (or of any content creators for that matter). You don't need to have a new build all the time imo.. although it's awesome to see variety, I'd watch anything you put out.. but especially any mage hunter or battle mage!
Pro tip Golen Epitath’s buff Last Rites will buff all of your physical and Holy Damage by a not insignificant amount use it before a fight to nuke with your shield

God damn, you are good, also I see you a fellow incantation enjoyer, I am building a crucible knight themed build, Crucible axe helm and tree chestplate, gauntlets and greaves (I like the cloth parts on the tree chestplate) I use the Tree sentinels shield and siluria's tree or ordosvis's great sword, of course I use the incantations: the breath, the horn, the tail.
Buff incantations I use are: blessing of the eurdtree, golden vow, protection of the eurdtree for multiple damage types or barrier of gold for mages, and the DragonBolt blessing for phisical attackers
Other attack incantations I use are golden stars, wrath of gold
For the physic flask I have the poise cracked tear and the holy damage cracked tear
Trinkets I use are the great jars arsenal, the sacred scorpion charm, the DragonCrest GreatShield, I replace this with Radigon's soreseal or the Eurdtrees favor +2, and Godfrey's icon

While I don’t really with spears or thrusting swords because I think they’re cheesy af, I also don’t invade. This actually looks fun as hell tho and I’ve always wanted to use that shield

If your offensive incants are useless you should use the other fortification buffs, like the lightning fortification and the fire protection one. Lots of dudes in this vid used lightning or fire
I'm fairly certain I can't stack those buffs with magic fortification so I don't know about that.
I do want to have the offensive incants just in case I need them also.

Hey man I really like your content and I think you’re really funny. Your builds are unique, fun, and effective. I just can’t help but to cringe every time you get so demeaning and mean spirited. I imagine that I’m a pretty regular consumer of TH-cam content, so It’s fair for me to assume that alot of people feel the same way I do. I would watch your videos every day if you turned down the negativity in your videos, and focused more on what elden ring should be about. Fun, challenge, and creativity.
My entire shtick is just being raw and saying what I think. I'm chaotic neutral. No filter or persona.
That means when I run into scummy players, I say it. If I run into good players, I say it.
There are many more scummy players than good ones. So a lot of people get made fun of deservingly.
This is just how i am.
Truth be told, that is why people watch the channel partially. Most people are sick of the nice guy content creator persona.
If I started censoring myself my audience would be very unhappy.
I've even done polls asking if people think I'm too mean. 70% of responders told me I'm not mean enough.
Only a few percent told me I was too mean.
So yeah this is just how I am and your opinion seems to be in the minority. Most invaders are kinda chaotic and maybe even a little sadistic, so it seems a lot of people share my sentiments.

Ive tried this built, and while I suck, this is pretty damn good. Most players kind of suck just like me, although i am not a spammer and panickroller... but with this in hand i really kicked butt

@@Drunk_Souls I’ve been thinking of a “Hand over host” build. Where I give the chance to the phantoms to simply hand over their host and I give them some goodies. If they refuse the goodies then I harass them with a pestering build that is pain stakingly difficult to get rid of ( aka my HP Zilla build. It’s less about the damage I do, but rather how hard it is to send me to the void ). dual pulleys and a lightning misericorde with lightning ram is all I need. Plus black flame protection adds 30% flat physical damage reduction + old lord talisman = a certified pain in the ass. No bhs or anything like that. Just good ol fashion bullet sponge

To be fair can’t really get mad at revisit blood in PVE ( unless it’s an invader trap of course)
I too use the win-shield when I'm feeling unskilled. Lots of fun to just eat people's abilities for free and do 600+ damage for it.
It is kind of insane. But with all the easily spammable projectiles in Elden Ring, a shield like this was necessary to humble the pew pew addicts.
If you use the ring of light incantation you can parry your own projectile with that shield for loads of damage
I like some spells but not all the time I'd like to start off with the spell they will expect. Usually I have a cracked Tear that will give me hyper defense I use Twiggy to keep my runes In spots where it's easy to lose them
Bleed build folks seem to not have a concept of spacing with how many of those mohg spear bois just die to siluria tree L2
