Please Give the Wife & Kids A Big Thank You For ME about putting up with the noise & smell right now. Well Good Morning Mr.Green!!!!! So great to hear from you. It's always very encouraging when we get a comment and compliments from you on our style and our craft. We are fully committed to this project one phase at a time. To be honest, although it may not seem like it, but I do have a tremendous amount of support from my family. Even if that means letting me spend as much time as I want in my little shop - my Happy Place - I'll extend your well wishes to both Big J and Joe. In the meantime, enjoy your Sunday. (glad your furnace is up and running) -steve-o
@@theautorefinery Ha Ha -- I apologize for Little John I knew it was Joe. Seeing Big J's Elcamino while typing late is my reason. Getting ready today to use some more of That Motivation. lol
Hi Ryan. Thanks for keeping up on our series here. Yes, saving the frame was right up there with saving the body shell, dash, and tags. 03B, your car and Mr. Jones are cousins..... We appreciate your support. -steve
in 2019, I did a total restoration on a 1966 Mustang in one week shy of a year. Total hours: 4000. Worked on it every single day till 1am. Christmas, Thanksgiving, root canals...never missed a day
Wow thats an intense schedule!!!! 78+ hours a week for 51 weeks incredible dedication. Our 66 Mustang could a portion of that kind of TLC. Would love to learn more about that project!! Please email us directly with some details when you can. Thanks for watching. -steve
Well hello and Good Morning Mr Underwood.!! Did you miss a particular part ? Or were you missing us because we skipped a couple weeks? Haha Hope you're doing well and Thank You so much for watching. -steve
Nice work, great video! Would you by any chance still have your location measurements for the core support mounts on the frame? Would really help with my repair. Thanks
Good morning and Thank You for watching. We really appreciate your time. The videos that you're watching are fairly current so the next video with the frame getting reassembled is up to date. Are you looking for particular dimensions from one point to another on the front frame rails? Let me know what you need and I can take some measurements. -steve
@theautorefinery Thanks for the reply. Both of my core support holes are rusted and it would help a lot for some reference measurements to place the repair washers in the correct location. Perhaps from front of frame horn to edge of hole and any other you think useful. Thanks again
Good morning to you. We apologize for the delayed response but felt that your question would be much better answered in the form of a video. We just loaded one up for you. Take a look when you can and please feel free to contact us if you have any more questions Hope this helps -steve
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 ; forgot this has been very informative & interesting, why years ago I was toll that the frames had some differences with the body on frame you are unable to see . Very cool 👀😎👍 📓📐📝📏✏️
Good morning Mr.B Glad you liked this one. We are getting somewhere now. Sorry for the delay in my response. Hectic weekend around here. I hope you're doing well. Until next time.. -steve
I still have all the original finned drums from my 69 Cutlass project. Cars build date is 03B. Very close to Mr. Jones' build date. Right? Let me know if interested. I'll sell to you for a very fair price.
Hey Steve, Joe and big John, I have many finned drums. Front and rear. I even have an extra pair of aluminum 1968 Buick GS400 front drums. My email is in my descriptions of my videos. I can send you a picture of all my spare drums. Did you see the 68 Toronado I just bought. Cool project. Let me know and take care, Anthony
Good morning Anthony. We hope your doing well and Thank You as always for watching. The request for "FINNED" drums was actually a mistake. What we need are the "BELL" style drums (smooth outside, not finned at all). Yes, I did the Toronado, Yet another project. Its a real sickness that we have !!! Thanks for taking the time to watch this one. -steve
Your a car guy. It’s America. U pay taxes, run your grinder son. Run it all day. If you’re wife leaves because of the grinder, it was never meant to be. The neighbors aren’t helping you build ur car so in reality they don’t really matter. That’s what my brain says. 💯
Good morning and perfect timing. I'm sitting here with coffee getting caught up on the latest comments. I like everything you're saying. But after 28 years of wedded bliss, she's put up with me this far, and all of the cars over those years, she get's me all too well. As far as my neighbors, The kids next door love it!, and most others enjoy the perpetual parade of cars ( maybe even the occasional burnout) too. Thank You for taking the time to watch this one and to play along. -steve
