Your intuition on the pottery horses being something was on point. They appear to be California Pottery. Not sure of the red glazed one but the white one definitely looks like one of Haldeman's Caliente Pottery figurines from the 1940's.
I work in a bookshop and we ask our client to wear a mask (even if they're the only shopper) to avoid them sneezing and caughing up on the items that other poeple might touch later on. The mask keep us all safe and we are vert grateful when clients respect our decision. So thank you Jocelyn for showing a good example on your channel 😊✌️

I found the primary green Pyrex bowl in great condition at my local thrift store for $3.50!
I love that Antique Mall, I used to live in Emmitsburg and had two booths there. Did you know if prices are at regular price and you paid by cash or check you could ask for a 10% discount and most vendors will do that. They will know that at the front desk.
My older brother always stopped when he saw a turtle on the road to rescue it, no matter what the traffic. He committed suicide a year ago, and turtles bring him to mind.....i really would like that turtle!

If you were there on Tuesday June 2nd then the alarm was a test alarm for tornadoes. They go off the first Tuesday of every month. At least that's the way it is in the midwest in tornado alley.
My grandmother had that same turtle and it sat on top of the refrigerator my whole life. It’s from the 70’s or maybe earlier. What a great memory! 🐢

That was just an air raid test, they test it every year, same day same time.📢 The alarm is an air raid siren incase of an attack. If it wasn't a test then on every radio station and tv station they would tell everyone what they have to. We have them over here in Denmark also. 💜💕💜💕💜💕💜💕🇩🇰🇩🇰

That’s what I was thinking. She is spending too much time with her word histories. LOL
My daughter went to a yard sale and asked the man how much a set of “colorful” bowls were she knew they were Pyrex but he gave her a ridiculously low price. Something like 2 or 3 dollars for the set. I can’t remember what set it was but I want to say a refrigerator set but they were in perfect condition , her being 18 with not much money grabbed them up. She collects but only buys if she finds them like that.

You could put the little instant oatmeal packets in the canister if you didn’t think loose oatmeal would stay fresh without a seal. Oatmeal is very common in households today, especially those with kids or older folks.
If the back of the oatmeal canister is decorated, but has no writing, someone could just turn it around????

OMG, my brother had that yellow dog lamp in his room when we were kids( in the 60's) I don't remember the white lampshade though. Who would believe it would be worth 300 dollars now! Love this antique mall! Living in north central PA, I will have to check it out!

I went to an Antiques Road show type of thing at my local library. I had some Weller Pottery and allegedly it is one of the few pottery companies that tend to not have reproductions out there. I think that particular mark is from 1928-1935. In my opinion a good price.

Getting my fix watching you cruising the antique mall. So satisfying. Loved the baby birds cheeping, but the siren reminded me of the tsunami warning sirens we had in Hawaii. Gayle Hill She did say the “posh” thing to do was to dip your celery in the salt. Other than that, I have no clue except it seems to be common practice like putting salt on grapefruit or melons.

I think that boomerang shaped piece might actually have been a painters palate shaped piece. It's got the thumb hole and splashes of paint on it. Thanks for your videos Jocelyn, I watch all the time.

I went into a resale shop by my house today, only to learn that the large antique mall down the block had closed. Apparently, all of the things that were left behind by vendors were donated to them. So on my first thrift in months, I walked out with a ton of beautiful Murano art glass pieces for like $5 a pop. Bullicante Argento and Aventurine bowls and dishes galore.

Hi can I ask why when you get some really beautiful things from Eric etc at wholesale why you go and buy in the antique shops for retail, unless it’s what you want for yourself or are the shops under priced many thanks as in England we wouldn’t do that so I am very interested x. I am sure the oval pastel dish you put in basket that you picked one up on you last shop at flea market that we haven’t seen haul of yet
Way back when I was just starting, before we had met Eric or I’d ever been to the flea market, I mostly shopped antique shops for resale. I still enjoy the challenge and I love seeing the variety of items.

She’s a TH-camr before a reseller. Picking vids fetch the most views and shopping with Sue boosts views even more. Mixing up the places to shop makes her channel more exciting. She doesn’t need that much turnover compared to other resellers because of her TH-cam income. Hence so much stuff is left unlisted, so much stuff is left in mystery boxes. Spending the day picking is so much more exciting than listing isn’t it lol
