I watch you everyday on my tv. I’m from Dayton Ohio but I live in Ontario Canada. I was down home last year and was so pumped to go goodwill shopping. I was so disappointed. Yet I watch you find goodies all the time. Lol
9:25 Cookie Jar is "Bobby the Baker". I think McCoy made them. Don't often see a yellow hat. Love it!! 19:00 You are correct. Those are Mayer China lidded sugar bowls! It's restaurant ware. Beautiful!
Definition of 'prosit' good health! cheers! The word is used to make a toast at a party, bar, Oktoberfest, wedding, to acknowledge something with happiness. Word origin. German, from Latin, literally: may it prove beneficial.
Seriously, why are your Goodwill Stores so good??!! I've been to stores in Ohio and Indiana - nowhere near as much stuff as Maryland's GW stores. I almost think I need to take a road trip.
There was an older gentleman who picked it up after me. And he was very excited. He had no idea who I was, but kept asking what I thought of it and showing me that all the doors opened. 😅

Omg... the lips on that llama! I def would have picked that up too just for the smile factor! The weirdos I pick up all put a smile on my face, thats why I love them!
Great walk through. When I saw the cookie Jar my first thought was Pillsbury Dough Boy. I have never seen one that old that was a great find. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Waterford Marquis doesn’t have the lead content and handcrafting that TRUE Waterford (marked on the piece and has a green sticker) has. Still, at $6.49, the piece is a deal.
I saw someone on Etsy making candle holders out of Salt & Pepper shakers. I thought that was a Fantastic idea for the singles we see so often. They were brass & had a rod that went through them. They were asking ridiculous prices for them! Now I want to make some!
Getting wax out of candle holders - you can sometimes freeze the item and use a knife blade to flick the hardened wax out. It tends to come out in chunks that way instead of getting messy. Try it on something not valuable and see how you make out.
Same! I don’t even look at the mugs anymore because they are priced so high. Our goodwill is incredibly expensive. A nice piece of glass is 25.00 and up!
@@camelliamoody2360 Yes, they seem to have great prices on the east coast where she lives. I notice though if I go to small thrift shops prices are better but still not that low.
@@Wklstothe small thrift stores here are even worse than Goodwill! Milk glass is around 19.00 and up, some of the nicer glass pieces will be 30.00 plus. I’m in Washington State.
At about 8:05: I love that derpy looking turtle/tortoise! You're right! Looking at the under side, it does look like it's made out of sand! Bizarre! ❤🤣
What is the best way to get candle wax out of an item? I have tried putting in the freezer but it doesn’t seem to work for a potter item. Glass it works well.
Prosit is German for cheers according to Google 😉 lol I was typing that the cookie jar looked like a yellow pillsbury dough boy when the lady was telling the same. 😆 What are the insulators used for? This is only the second time is seen a ceramic one, I’ve only seen glass ones. The llama with make is so cute lol
Houston Starbucks would be good for the Space Train!
That's what I was thinking too. 😊
Prost is German for cheers. Spent 10 years in Germany. Husband was in the air force.

I read your comment just as she picked up the cookie jar. How fun is that?
I love the Fontanini Italian figures, I have 11 of my own plus a beautiful clock.

Seriously, why are your Goodwill Stores so good??!! I've been to stores in Ohio and Indiana - nowhere near as much stuff as Maryland's GW stores. I almost think I need to take a road trip.
I'm in the same state as she but ours stink too. I just go to look, but I never see anything close to what she finds.
Cookie jar is a vintage Winking Bobby Baker.
I loved the woody convertible toy car in the beginning of your shopping. 😊
me too, hoping she'd pick it up, knowing she wouldn't 'cause that's "not in her wheelhouse" as she says.
There was an older gentleman who picked it up after me. And he was very excited. He had no idea who I was, but kept asking what I thought of it and showing me that all the doors opened. 😅
The owl figurine with the tilted head holds a little air plant. I love your videos! ❤
You passed over a green Pyrex salt and pepper shaker set there between 15 and $30. It was near that big yellow flower.
My mom had those when I was growing up

The grey cat you picked up at the end of this video is a Kurt Adler. They made ornaments in resin that match, in various colors, too.
I found the audio to be better on this video. Sometimes I want to turn up the volume even though on high but this one was perfect.
I always carry hand sanitizer. I use it to get rid of the sticky feeling on your fingers .

LOVE the Cobalt Blue Insulator...
The little owl with the opening on top was originally sold with a small air plant glued in. There's another one as well. They retail for like $7
9:17 The big candle with the wood lid. Discontinued aromas can be worth a good amount. I couldn't read the name on the front.
I so enjoy your videos. Your stores have so many fun items, at great prices. I am in Seattle area, their favorite number is 10 dollars.
You should of got the Houston Starbucks mug for your "Space" train sale coming up
The lama really cute!
Love the videos.... love the fresh carts :)
3:18 😳 Love the Llama
Great video. I liked all the colors in the cart.
Avon makes the bunny shakers that were in the bag
I wish our thrift store had treasures ,rhe one is real cheap on prices but at all junk.
You found great items.Yesterday I found a puzzle box with two dolphins.🐬🐬
2:57 i have the little mouse under the mushrooms, hes so cute!

Set it outside or put on a warmer
freezing is the best way
Those Bella casa plates look like they sell well
Oh my.... check that blue glass with bubble stopper real close.. I have one like it in purple I thought was Blenko and it is just painted glass.
I have found those same hollow glass birds but mine were wind chimes and had a solar light inside.
Kind of looks like the Pillsbury dough boy!😂
"Houston we have a problem."😉☕
I have two of those bubble bottles but in gold.
Wow starbucks mugs you are there 2.49 wow. 8.00 my goodwill

If you soak something in Simple Green the wax will be so easy to remove
8:56 Corgi vessel not so thrilling 17:43 that’s very true that florists do not want the vase to detract from the flowers.
Run hot water on the candles comes right out the hotter the water the faster it will come off
Your videos are quite informative. Now when I go to Good Wills or garage sales, I have you in my mind saying this or that on certain items. LOL
Prosit = German for Bottoms up! , L'Chaim, Salut, etc.
Thank you for sharing
I was thinking how yummy some French onion soup would be right now when I saw those crocks! Great minds think alike…..
Keep the alpaca for you , put a suculent in it.
That llama 🦙 is awesome! ❤
You are gonna have to bring a pack of baby wipes for all the sticky stuff lol
The wire drink caddy!! Why are you not picking that up?
Prosit is German and you say it like Cheers! when sharing a drink with someone! Prosit!

How can you tell when something Waterford?
No it’s not been painted it came that way!
The winking weirdo, sounds like a good name for a bar🤣

Sand candles were a real thing in the 70's but I've never seen them animal shaped before.
I have that cookie jar got in 1980
Prost means cheers!
The gingerbread man hair clip was broken. Maybe take that one out before giving to Juliette as a gift 👍🏻
Please check the purses in your videos I miss that
I take antibacterial wipes with me thrifting for wiping sticky things.
The AR llama was great! It’s a shame about the Bella Casa plates, they were really pretty
The giant candle sand thing is from the 70s when everyone was a hippie and had giant sand candles, incense and more lol ... Thanks for the memories 😉
I remember sand candles. I had a few. I'm 73.
Yes! I made them in art class in high school in the 70's. Great memories!
What is the best way to get candle wax out of an item? I have tried putting in the freezer but it doesn’t seem to work for a potter item. Glass it works well.
I think there was a glass 🦩 in that last cart too!!😊❤
4:09 I think the 2 brownish/tan taller goblets or vases may have been Frankhoma ?
Wax is easy to get out of you just use a blow dryer to warm it up.
Omg love the Llama with makeup on! 😊
I was so stressed out with all the noise in the store!
😂Me too😅😊
Prosit means cheers.
Your goodwill is way better than mine
I'm here!
I was told if you freeze the item with melted wax in it that it should just pop off
Thanks
Maybe you should do an All Llama/Alpaca sale? lol!

Male red Kangaroos are pure nightmare fuel! And also, I honestly felt like this video was rushed, but I still love your videos and content ❤️
Why did you pass up the Appleware? There were 4-6 dishes stacked you went back and forth in front of...not worth it?
I have those TC fish salt and pepper shakers.
Lovely dishes
Is it an American thing to call those glasses cups?
I know the first store was a Robin Williams picture on a box
That would been great for your space theme
