I carry a magnifying glass in my purse. It's a really good one and lightweight. When something is not etched deep enough, or faded, it really helps reading things. It may be very helpful to you, and you might be surprised at what you may have walked past without it.
I think when you see something you like but that is a little outside your comfort zone I think you should give yourself the ‘ Ten Dollar Punt’ - if it costs less than $10 then you try it out. You start your listings at $4 so the most you are likely to lose is $6 .
It would give you ‘permission’ to try a mark you don’t know, or something a bit more modern .
Let us share that journey with you and see how well it does on EBay - perhaps you go for something like that every trip, or you spring the surprise on us and go rogue

You have the most amazing hand/eye coordination. You see something in the back of a cabinet, you snake your arm toward it, and after your hand grabs it, you reverse snake your arm and the item without touching anything along the way. Amazing.

Sorry girlfriend, I had to pause your video for so long. Himself was taking a load to the garbage dump and another to Goodwill for me. He suddenly decided he needed my assistance loading the truck...argh!!! Then when I went back in the house, the kitchen had been left in a sorry state, so I did up the dishes and cleaned up the mess. Now hours later I've finally got to sit down and finish it, (guilt free), and it was as delightful as I knew it would be. This mall sure has a wonderful array of beautiful things to chose from, and I sure wish we had one like it in our area. We do have a few places that think of themselves as antique stores, but their prices miles high and their inventory hasn't changed in twenty years. The one is so dirty you need to take a bath afterwards, so to be able to see you shopping in deliciously clean, well thought out places is so satisfying. Thank you for another wonderful tour. White fan is soooo vintage, there were several widely in use by my grandmother and her elderly friends. I was allowed to bring one to church. I felt very important, and a little coolee.

Ooooooooo! Hadley! Ooooooooo! Hadley! And there was an absolutely precious mommy kangaroo with a Joey in her pouch with the salt & peppers! I’ve been looking for one of those twine/scissor wall pockets. Awwww... those little bear S & P, no ALL of the S & Ps, and the Santa and, who am I kidding? I LOVE it ALL!
I already have a bit of a hoarding problem from always hitting the thrift stores around here I’d end up hoarding everything I was meant to be selling 😂😂 hell I do that with my art pieces now 🙈
Got to be careful with the Pyrex bowls. The earlier red is different from the later red. The former is red red, while the latter is an oranger red.
It looks like there was a discount on the booth with the paper weights as you walked in. Looked like 25%

I so enjoy your taste and Sue's ,,well everybodies because it brings new beauty or complimentary beauty and interests to me, you pick things I might miss and love..My grandma had some Hadley and some older things similar in plates.....I also love that for the most part...this antiquing and selling and project making is not as much dog eat dog as dolls,,,,lol...love them too...be well and keep taking care of you. Real nifty sold a wall climbing cat wall pocket by camark. It sold on ebay for $217. He paid $3 at an estate sale. Thought you would like to know since you got that thing by the same company.

19:57 I have those kangaroo and roo shakers! Years ago I was dating a guy whose mom collected shakers, and I bought the kangaroo set to give her--but I ended up keeping them for myself (which has happened many times over the years...)!
The Blenko vase sells for $59.00 + depending on color.

I just got a big vase in those colors and now I want one in the mint green.
I love the Mary Hadley and that is what I use. What is sad is that all my casserole dishes have broken in half. The handles have come off all the big mugs except one. I have to keep buying more plates because they tend to crack in half. But, I keep buying them!

Isn't it crazy how kids can "lose" kitchen items. Family of 7 here and I'm down to 2 plastic cups and a couple of forks. 🤦.
Two 6' plus teenage boys over here. I curbside picked a box of dishes just for the bowls two days ago. All of our glasses are food jars. All of our dishware is picked. But where are the bowls? I live here. Is there a room I don't know about?
Like mine they toss that stuff in wastebaskets because while doing picking up their brains are miles away. Have had 7 sets of silverware in ten years s÷ms forks and spoons disintegrate lol and last week washed paired and distributed 220 pairs of socks. That appeared in a closet bin

Eldreth Pottery is worth it if you can find it really cheap. Most pieces sell for an average of $20 but certain older ones can be tripple that. I think they probably have a fair retail price on it for the $25.
