I love how Marc said “so this time I’ll put an orange zip tie on…” and proceeded to put on a yellow one. Because I’VE never done anything like that. Just retired from 45 years of flying airplanes and always always ALWAYS used a checklist. Always. As always, Loved the episode. ❤️
Charlie is the star of the show. Your site at Sebastian Inlet looks like the same site i stayed years ago. My 8 days there was one of the very best vacations i have ever had.
Good to see other parts of FL that we have not been to yet. You guys are so good at this that you make everywhere you go seem so amazing. We've enjoyed watching your family for years now and following your journey. Thanks for all the contributions you have made to the community!
Mark when cutting the tail off the zip ties use square nose lineman pliers grasp the tail and twist till the tail comes off. This will make the little tab that left soft an not cut yoy
Enjoyed seeing all the excitement the 3 of you experienced. Always good to see you Trish, Mark, Caleb, & Charlie! Looking forward to next week. In hopes you have a wonderful week! 🌈Happy 🍀St. Patricks🍀Day!
Several years ago as I was parking my 18’ bass boat at the of my driveway which opens up to my acre backyard which is also downhill, I didn’t chock the tires (thinking that part of the yard was fairly level) anyway when I lifted the hitch latch (chains unhooked) the tongue popped up just missing my face as the trailer started downhill until it hit a concrete block about 10’ away. If it weren’t for the block, the boat and trailer would have gone about 150’ and vertically down 20’! Yes, now everything is chocked even the riding lawnmower or wheelbarrow.
Well, this brings back some memories. My family used to camp here during Christmas, back in the 60s. It was a private campground then. We'd fish off the rocks all the time. I'd gone back there a few years back, but was disappointed in how the state took over the campground. Change is inevitable, but, unfortunately, you just can't go back home. I wish you could have seen it in it's prime. JM2C
You guys always do an amazing job in sharing your world with the world and always put 110% percent into your adventures… have been adventuring with your guys since the first big 6 month cross country ever trip from Az I was hooked since.
My sister and I would spend the weekend fishing at Sebastian Inlet when we were kids (15 & 16) back in the mid 70's. back then, there was only a dirt area on the north side by the ocean, way before there was a state park.
Thank you for suggesting the birdings apps. My wife and I for our anniversary this weekend, while camping, bought each other binoculars and had a great time using the apps along with them.
Marc and Trish, we lived in Indian River County for 30 years before moving to Crested Butte. Love Sebastian Inlet. Exchanged white sand for white snow. For two years, our daughter lived 7 miles up the road from the inlet and we drove our car from the RV park near Fellsmere to her house while we were back the last two years. Love seeing places we know.
We want to get an airstream eventually! Right now just a regular jayco 264bhw. We are doing a lot of trips this year and have been for the past 2 years! All because of this channel years ago when it first started. I have been a true follower since the beginning. You started your travel at the most perfect time for me. I had just lost my job, was getting divorced and just sold my house all in the same month. Your channel gave me hope that one day I can do my dream of traveling! Now I share that passion with my kids and I got remarried 2 years ago to my most amazing wife! She shares the same passion of wanting to travel in an rv. I have 50/50 custody of my 4 kids and my wife and I just had her first, my 5th baby! We have already been camping with him when he was 2 months old. Thank you for being a part of getting me through the tough times!
St. Pete native here. We have a spot on RV Row at the Grand Prix. It’s the best way to watch the race. We’ve been parking my rig there for 5 years now. Glad you got to experience the race. Next time, come out to RV Row. St. Pete is the best!!!
We are in Georgia and only have the next week and a half planned. Florida is looking nice! Funny as my husband said last night, "Let's go to Florida!" and then a friend called today to remind us of his offer of his driveway / yard / house in Florida. I agree on using the blocks for small leveling and yes, always chock the wheels. The bird tour looked awesome! We did the boat tour in the Okefenokee Swamp - fabulous!
I switched to wood instead of leveling blocks under the tongue jack because of the slip factor. Especially on an incline with just a little moisture, plastic leveling blocks can be slippery! A chunk of pressure treated wood feels much more secure and certainly has more friction. BTW I’ve loved your channel for years. Cheers!
Very cool sharing your thinking regarding the process and acceptable interruption points. You read my mind. The NASA clip that followed up was the cherry on top
I'm glad your water leak was a quick fix. I had the same thing happen on my travel trailer years ago. We stayed at a campground near Mount Rushmore and the temps went from 70 to 30 overnight. Our tank froze and the cheap plastic spigot cracked. I put in brass drain valve like you did and no more problems.
I have been enjoying your channel from it's beginning. I used it as info and entertainment while I researched going full time. After several years, we finally hit the road, it was wonderful! Unfortunately, after ten months on the road, we had to stop. Yours is the only channel I will still watch, just to dream once again. Thanks for all your hard work.
I camped there once. In August. In a tent. Managed to walk in to Piper Aircraft and get a job interview with my young son in tow. We still live here 21 yrs later.
We have a zip tie on our chain for the weight distribution bars. It helps a lot. Love little tips like that. Goodness, yes we always chock our tires. As a pilot it is essential to go down the check list, every time, slowly and carefully. Makes sense for an RVer too. The Coast Guard is stationed on the south side of Albert Whitted airport.
Hey Guys! It was a gorgeous weekend in the St. Pete area this last weekend. Seeing y’all out on the town was a highlight for sure. Safe travels and as always we look forward to next week’s episode.
Been watching you guys for years, seem to always just miss you location wise. If you ever seen the guy's dredging the beaches and rebuilding them with bulldozers that's what I do. Would love to invite you for a quick lesson on the process, people find it pretty fascinating to watch.
I still don't rv BUT, I feel looking at your weekly shows I am right there with you every trip. Sorry if I sat in your seat,it will not happen again as long as you take me. ❤✌👍
My Winter to Remember is now over. 6 cruises in less than 4 months. Now I can get back to watching some videos. My guess is Mr. Marc does not go back and look at comments from weeks past. Now it's time to get back into RV travel mode.
Sounds like Mark had been watching BTBRV with his trailer weight, pin weight, and compatible truck for the job conversation about the boat. I love the videos every week. I've been subscribing for 4-5 years now so I hope you're going where I think you're going this year. Either way, I'll be here to watch it, wherever y'all end up!
Some of the Florida Parks on the Gulf side are really spectacular. We can't get our Big Truck Big Rig in many of them but some we can fit. Great video. Safe travels
I block my trailer wheels both sides every time, since once when one tire was on a slight bump after lifting the trailer off the ball, that side of the trailer moved off the bump. This was a small box trailer. Its till good practice to follow to prevent injury and truck/trailer damage, especially if leveling devices are used.
For the record, I’m not an “I hate winter” guy, but I am officially over it here in NY. I’m ready to get the boat out of storage and get in the water, and this video only reinforces that feeling! Cool episode.
We stayed at Sebastian Inlet park last June. It was beautiful there and the park is very well kept by an army of volunteers. However, in June the place was filled with invisible gnats that bite ferociously. My legs and arms had hundreds of red spots that itched like crazy. Make sure to use some heavy duty insect repellent if it's gnat season.
You all have the best of both worlds. I am not a fan of cold places. Though I do see the advantages through your eyes of having extreme cold. It usually cuts down the population of mosquitoes in the summertime. Except maybe in Florida. It is a beautiful place though I haven't spent a lot of time in Florida. In my middle childhood( maybe 9-10) the family did the obligatory historical trip to the oldest town in the US. Then when I was in Seminary I took a trip with my parents and my little brother in 84 to Walt Disney World Resort during August. Then when I was married we took at trip to Walt Disney World Resort. That was an interesting trip. We left Raleigh NC like 5am. At the time we had a older Volvo that had a mechanical problem but fortunately it happened around Savannah GA. So we spent about 5 hours sightseeing there. An unexpected delight. Turns out that was a blessing in disguise. Though we did have an added expense to the trip. It was in Oct and we were skirting one of the Hurricanes I think it was 1999.
I have been on a cruise of Tampa Bay before with a old coworker who owns a boat. It’s definitely a culture there but the restaurants with boat parking were fun. I found it interesting all the sunken boats. They just leave them behind because it’s too expensive to remove them. St Pete is great lots of fun!
Super episode! Cool seeing Caleb working the Day In The Dirt event. Would love to bring my Honda CRF300 Rally down for a spin around the track. I enjoyed your day out in the boat. What a great guy to let you drive, and to teach you some nautical stuff. Happy Trails
Also, Trish, since you like history....look up Fort Pickens State Park. It's located in Pensacola, Fl. Since you're traveling up the west coast it might make for a nice stop. FYI...it's out at the end of a long Island and the Fort and the beach will be your main source if entertainment! But it's a real cool and quiet place. And, whatever you do, DO NOT arrive at night like we did! It's pitch black out there! 😆😉
We were camping a few years ago, and someone was unhooking and their trailer rolled backwards about 5 feet, do not un do you're chains until you're off the ball, if a little kid etc was back there or worse, your chains would have stopped you're trailer and block your wheels.
I always love when “Documentary Voice Marc” makes the episode!!!
Abner hints… fully agree about chocks at all times!! We have been RV’ing since ‘94.
Look out David Attenborough
I do too. They are so good and I can’t quite put my finger on why I feel this way. 😂
Your voiceovers are not only on point, but hilarious. Love your videos!
The bird watching bit was hilarious from Tricia's expression when you first told her all the way through😂
Charlie is the star of the show. Your site at Sebastian Inlet looks like the same site i stayed years ago. My 8 days there was one of the very best vacations i have ever had.
You guys are living THE LIFE! So fun, so exciting, so liberating…so envious 😢. But thank you for letting me live vicariously through you! I LOVE 💕 IT!
Good to see other parts of FL that we have not been to yet. You guys are so good at this that you make everywhere you go seem so amazing. We've enjoyed watching your family for years now and following your journey. Thanks for all the contributions you have made to the community!
Mark you are so funny. Omg. The bird comment’s hilarious. Your voice and music 😂
Academy Awards or this video tonight. I chose this!
Oh, and Blood Red Sun "Fish On Land" Music, dead on perfect!
Built tiara boats for 20 years in Holland Michigan.
Another inspiring video! Thanks for continuing to fan my flame for adventuring!
Grew up staying with my grandparents in Melbourne every summer and a lot of winter breaks. Love seeing you on the East Coast enjoying the Space Coast!
Best quote “ it’s double this fish ever thought it would be on top a telephone pole”. Cracked me up
Mark when cutting the tail off the zip ties use square nose lineman pliers grasp the tail and twist till the tail comes off. This will make the little tab that left soft an not cut yoy
I like it.

I get it! We've had a couple close calls on "flat" surfaces. Better to just do the same way every time and let poor judgment get in the way :)

Love the Tiara! RVing and boating, nothing better.
😂 Still laughing at the fish at top of the pole with your voice over bit!
The narration of the bird tour was great! Cracks me up every time!
You guys always do an amazing job in sharing your world with the world and always put 110% percent into your adventures… have been adventuring with your guys since the first big 6 month cross country ever trip from Az I was hooked since.
Love when the ocean looks teal; so beautiful!😊
Happy daylight savings everyone and only eight more days until spring! Love yall 3000!
Nothing happy about a pain in the arse 1hr BS of the clocks. It needs to be gone.
@@SpykersB Agreed!

I don't comment often, but Marc Attenborough was BRILLIANT!!! Dying laughing.
Did you see the Devil's Tower episode? That's where Marc Attenborough was born th-cam.com/video/7LBVTjk5HaQ/w-d-xo.html
@@KeepYourDaydream BAHAAHA... Just went and watched. HU-LARIOUS! I think you missed your calling.
Thank you for suggesting the birdings apps. My wife and I for our anniversary this weekend, while camping, bought each other binoculars and had a great time using the apps along with them.
The woodpecker / door stopper sound effect was epic!
“It’s doubtful that this fish thought it would end up at the top of a telephone pole” hahahahahaha So funny!!! I Love it!!

Will do! We'll be here.
Just for the English monolog from Marc I give the video a 100 thumbs up. lol. I love it. Safe travels. ☮❤
Tent camped many times at Sebastian Inlet... Clamming at low tide when younger, Surf Trips when older. Remember those No-See-Ums too well.

Brilliant! Just brilliant! Love the nature commentary.😂
Great video! Love the Tiara's. I could see the manufacturing plant from my office window in Holland Mi.!
Mr. Howell Gilligan's island voice it to darn funny....or BBC doc voice over I can't decide who Mark used for his muse.....cracks me up!!!! Love it
Caleb is absolutely hysterical! 😂

Yep the zip tie trick is nifty. Our dealer did that for us when they installed and setup our weight distribution hitch.
I live in Sebastian Florida, love it here. 💚💚💚
Sunday evening with my KYD family. The best!

There’s ALWAYS something going on in St Pete! So true. What a great city.
Hi guys love 💕 watching you all my husband Otis love’s to learn from Marc and we love your adventures thank you 😊 for sharing
Loved the Attenborough voice over! Great to see my inlet in your video. Great fishing there. My mother lives just a stones throw away in Palm Bay.

Rocking the “Arc de Soleil” background grooves! I was like, “wait… I know that song!” 3:20

I’m late by a few days but love the KYD family!!! Safe travels!!!
Another awesome video, remember when returning from the Ocean / Gulf , it's red markers on right side of the boat, "red on right returning"
OMG, your birdwatching voiceover had me rolling 😂 Thanks KYD from a fellow Flagstaff-ian!
Birds of the same feathers stick together…. Sounds like Woody Wood Pecker was doing the voice over …🤣🤣🤣….another great video folks

Love the Tiara! I grew up near Holland, MI where they’re built.
Yes! We'll be back to Holland for sure :)
Marc’s documentary voice reminds me of PBS Kids or Discovery channel 😂😂
We love Sebastian Inlet and have been there several times this winter. We would have loved to have seen y’all there!
I have Merlin on my iPhone and iPad works nice to identify what visits my feeder and backyard. The photo Id is a nice feature.
Living the life! Down @ Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Jupiter. Great place!
Looking forward to the summer adventures! We don’t leave on our trip until August (another grand baby due this summer) so living through your videos!
Loved the birding segment, but did you happen to discover the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow? 😜

Birding in Florida is amazing!!! Great documentary voice! 😜🤓😁
Enjoying a little KYD tonight
Just installed the levelmate pro. Haven't used it more than where our home away from home is stored. But already loving it.
It’s fun to use for sure.
Super episode!
Cool seeing Caleb working the Day In The Dirt event.
Would love to bring my Honda CRF300 Rally down for a spin around the track.
