We're loving this Florida between the season series, but this is the last stop before we travel home and kick off Season 10. We visit with Eric & Tami from Techno RV in Mobile, AL to tour their new office and catch the elusive mobile rive shrimp! I love Techno rv I literally just ordered an air pump from them and it was shipped and got to my house within like 3 days. Perfect would use them over Amazon all day.
Pretty cool letting Caleb learn how to back up the rig. I see he's still out growing his shoes! I have a stronger feeling this week, that we know where you'll be next week. Why? Because there was no room at the inn for us!
I love seeing young adults getting more and more responsibility so that when they're off on their own, they're ready for life. Just learning to back up an RV is a right of passage.
I let my wife drive my F450 first at the dealer and told her to make a tight turn and she came back telling me where to sign the check ! Then I got to drive it. Best decision was to have her test drive it first. It was sold before she put it in park lol.
People thought I made too big of deal of the turning radius. They clearly have never driven one. I need 4 lanes to make a U turn in my 250.

It is always good to see the love between a father and son, like the father teaching the son right of passage things like backing up the trailer. I like to share with my son similar things. It is always good to see the love and care you have for Trish that is what real men do. That is so masculine I'm glad to see this in social media. Positive things are so encouraging amongst the negative things that so prevalent. Thanks for showing that men are not as bad as what media portrays them as.
Your comments on the Reflection are spot on! We love our Reflection fifth wheel. HUGE amounts of space that I have not filled it all the way up yet.
This brought back so many memories of my visits to Dolphin Island and Fort Gaines as a kid! I loved the easy camaraderie between everyone and Caleb is a hoot! You guys are amazing! I'm so glad I discovered you just about a month ago! God bless you.
This video made me really miss my days in the Navy playing in the Gulf Coast area. I spent lots of liberty playing in and around that area. Beautiful area! I remember when Gulf Shores was a little sleepy area. Pensacola was fantastic back when USS Lexington roamed the waters from there!

Howdy from Fort Worth, TX! In researching for my first travel trailer purchase, I came across you guys and have become instantly hooked! I just finished season one and recognized Calebs face on the thumbnail pic for this video and had to watch! I can’t believe how much he has grown! Y’all have such amazing personalities and I love watching your videos! Beautifully made and so inspiring! I can’t wait to finish all the seasons and catch up! Thanks for the memories of Dauphin Island! Spent the month of December, 2019 at the camp ground on the east end of the island right behind Fort Gains. Fun time...lots of crawfish and shrimp. Met a great couple who retired to the island who treated us to a GIANT shrimp boil!

A normal RV AC/propane refrigerator uses 5 times more watts than a residential refrigerator. My 12cuft Norcold used 4.5Kw a day. My new 12cuft Galanz uses 800 wats a day. If you have solar you need to replace the frig.
Oh my gosh! Love this one! We spent all of February on Dauphin Island in our rig .... missing it so much right now. Never knew there was a place to get the mudbugs! So sad we missed that bit of Bama. - Can't wait to go back. 💜
Good job on backing up Caleb!!! I had to learn how to back up a 6ft generator trailer on the job for more then 400ft. Talking about chasing a trailer. I did get the hang of it and now I love backing up trailers.

We have a Solitude 382wb which is the sister to the 380fl y'all toured. It has a wet bar in place of the half bath. We've been living in it for the last 3 months as we work camp in Franklin, NC. It's a wonderful RV. We did swap out the mattress for queen which is plenty wide enough and it gives ruin on the sides of the bed to turn around.
I was so excited to see this!!!! I just ordered and received a Garwin 890 from them. Got it so fast and customer service was awesome!!!!!

If you travel for full-time or half of the year, a front-living fifth wheel is the way to go. It really separates the living spaces.
Mark you should see in China after lunch, they take an hour nap all the time the lights go down and everyone just goes to sleep. When I’m working there I just make a big cup of tea and listen to all the snoring from a chemical plant control room...
China’s so different from the states after living their for 2 years it taught me about the different culture and experiences.
@@readingrailroadfan7683 yep it’s different there. I enjoy my time in China never once had any issues there and I’ve been 5 times. Will be heading back soon on and off for the next 5-10 years with work. We have a son in Nanjing university, I doubt he will ever come home again. He’s lived there for almost 3 years now....

I have been debating the 380FL or the 390RK. I do like the idea of watching TV while cooking but the room of the front living and a extra toilet is game changer. Right now I am in a 315RLTS which is great for a couple. Something to keep in mind when the last one leaves the nest

KYD your channel is fun and informative. My family doesn't own a RV but I still love watching your videos. We're hoping to buy one in the near future. Like many people during the pandemic I became interested in camping and being outdoors. All of us were cooped up due to the pandemic and this helped to fuel mine and many others wanderlust. I lost my job due to the pandemic and I started following You Tube channels. KYD is one of my favorites. There are so many different types of campers and RV's..bunkhouses, fifth wheels, toy haulers, teardrop etc. I have been doing research to learn what would be best for my family. I like the airstream Bambi. It's educational when you visit RV shows . Is a fifth wheel the same as a toy hauler ? I still have a lot to learn !

The Solitude is nice on the inside. I'm not a tower though so I still love my motorhome. Fun to see how you hang out at the RV park. And I need to get one of those cameras or set up my go pros in the RV. Cool to see the driving in and out and not be holding a camera! Enjoyed!

@@KeepYourDaydream Yes!! Lolol. Next time ask!!! We TOTALLY want your opinion on Super C's!! Personally we have a Class C for safety vs Class A, now, don't get me wrong, Class A's are GORGEOUS!! I just feel the safety of all that glass up front vs actual engine and truck frame, but to mention easier to maintain at any truck stop vs having to work from a rear bath or bedroom. Personally we vote for you to get a Super C next!!! Not a regular C, we have one of those, but want more storage and towing capacity up major hills... Had to be diesel... 😎💛

Wow, that’s a huge fifth wheel. Couldn’t fit it half of the state park campgrounds we frequent. All that room is nice but if you’re not full timing it kind of defeats the purpose of enjoying the outdoors. Prefer campfire light to disco ball. And yes we have teenagers. Love that F450 thought.
