Ol' boy in the TJ has a lead foot!... Let the rig settle and crawl, you'll save $$! Great video though, thanks for letting us hear the carnage and not background music!
I love 4x4 fun but if you're gonna spend all that money on suspension and a nice jeep why not add some good harness restraints to keep you and you're friends from getting crushed in a rollover?
oh ok ok!! yeah I know what you mean... took mine off to and like you said, felt realy tippy so I put it back on... well hope to see more awsome videos from you, and your jeep is just killer man!! cheers :)
Great video with no music. Thanks. For people who don't have a Jeep yet, here's my opinion (worth exactly what you paid for it, of course). Anybody with money can buy a great 4WD vehicle and amaze his friends with what it can do. I think it is more fun to buy an inexpensive 4WD vehicle and amaze your friends with what YOU can do with it. (I don't know, of course, because I never had the wherewithal to buy a Rubicon or an AEV Brute or a Land Crusier.) So my advice is, get the base model Wrangler with optional gearing (3.73:1) and 31-inch tires (or, if your budget is VERY limited, a Patriot with Freedom Drive II). If your local dealer wants to sell you a vehicle with equipment you don't need or can't afford, keep looking 'til you find one who will. The base model '99 TJ we bought new in '99 had a list price of $18,485. Sally upgraded the 205 tires to 235s the next day and I fabricated a quick disconnect for the rear. Because the TJ had such good articulation from the factory, we seldom had to use the disconnect but sometimes it helped. Our TJ got totaled when someone made a left turn in front of our daughter while she was driving it in the rain. Now we are driving a Patriot we bought used. It has Freedom Drive I. I guess we will be content with that until we can again afford something more capable.
oh ok ok, yes I know what you mean... I took mine off to and like you said, felt realy tippy so I put it back on... hope to see more awsome videos from you!! btw your jeep is killer man ;)
My rear was trashed on a trail prior to this suspension, there is a cross support tube that a Curry fits into, I have thought about lengthening the arms on it to increase the torque and hopefully recover my rear flex, when I didn't have the rear swaybar off-camber situations made it seem much more tippy than it really was as the body would tip easily over the axles.
Old mine shaft with a jeep at the bottom, a couple of drunk guys were driving around at night and drove into it, they survived, the jeep stayed at the bottom, and the shaft was covered with the steel grating so it wouldn't happen again.
You have a good observation, but missed the cause. I have had trouble dialing in my swaybars, I had no rear swaybar at the time of this vid, with the rear evolever the rear suspension is much looser than the front, hence at obstacles almost all flex came at the rear, almost none at the front. Made the front seem stiff. I put in a Curry rear swaybar and now the rear is to rigid, lost most the rear flex, and nearly all now comes from the front. I gotta get it figured out.
Robert Wohlers No beadlocks equals popped beads at lower pressures. Builders often run out of budget before such niceties. On the other hand, I really do not understand why someone would put maybe $10,000+ into tires, wheels, suspension, and bumpers and not increase the strength of the roll cage and add 4 or 5 point harnesses to the seats. All the add-ons increase the weight plus move the center of gravity higher which add to the increased risk of roll over and cage collapse. The greater capability of the add-ons then puts you in greater need of safety enhancements.
I lol'd. Though on a more serious note, it's all about wheelbase (as I'm sure you well know.) It has it's pluses and minuses. Sections the SWB TJs are walking are gonna be short, technical crawls that require a short wheelbase and consequently, high breakover angle. The JK will handle long steep climbs much easier than the TJs, however, thanks to the extra wheelbase. On that note, I love seeing a stock/near stock TJ on the trails. Stock wheeling is the best.
doesn't look like anybody aired down. The ride is much nicer and the grip is way better if you air down to about 10-15 psi in your tires. Looks like a fun trip though
I was unfortunate, I was the first JK and took a line that cleared the tree by a foot, but perched me 4 ft in the air on the big rock, the other Jeep with me didn't touch the tree. The remaining group we had just run into on the trail and I filmed them, they didn't really care what we had to say.
I am proud to say ALL of my skid plates and rock sliders are completely covered in scratches, dents, rust and deep grooves, it would be far more embarrassing/disappointing when they are not scratched. Why else have something that is slow, high center of gravity, big tires, geared for poor gas mileage. That would indicate I was posing for appearances? Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane. The underside of the jeep is completely armored and protected. Each part has a purpose.
porque no ponen vídeos de jeep hurricane quiciera saber q valor tienen y adonde los venden soy de Honduras algún numero de teléfono para poderme comunicar
Here we see a group of wild Jeeps as they migrate through the rocky hills of Utah.
Looks like it was a blast! Great driving by everyone!

Those two black 4door jk's are absolute beasts!
Look fun. I would love to come on a ride like that. I like the rubicon with light bar.
Them jks are sick. Hope to make mine look like that pretty soon!!
Very nice keep the vids coming. Love the terrain nothing remotely close here in FL.

i like how the grandma was driving that hard core off road buggie lol
Awesome video... thanks for sharing
TJ's doing what they do. Love it.
Nothing like the look of a TJ with a long arm lift! Much better looking than a JK and thats coming from a former JK owner

I did Wayne's world on my ATV; used my winch to haul the machine up and down. That is a really STEEP climb up the rocks!

Those 15" Canyon wheels look really nice on that Wrangler.
Damn I bet the alignment in those Jeeps are all messed up after those rocks lol
Looks like a blast! Let me when your going sometime, I'd love to join.

Must be the first time wheelin for these guys.
Я бы тоже так прокатился с компанией на джипах.Серый джип у телки в белой футболке понравился.
I gotta go there some time because I live close
I've gotta wonder why that guy (at the 1:25 to 1:40 mark in the video)
has a high lift jack, and no spare tire to be seen anywhere on the Jeep???
The guys who think land rovers are the best off road vehicles are quiet in this thread.
IT REALLY INTERESTS ME,THUMBS UP 4 RUBICON AND WRANGLER...JEEPY WEEEEEEEEEEH...
Anyone know the exact wheel/tire specs on the 4 door at 00:45 ?Thanks

This trail was so hard to find for the first time. 5 mile is so sick.
Most of the jeep vehicles could REALLY stand to be aired down more. They'd be better able to navigate the rocks more gently.

That buggy is fucking awesome!

This entire area is designated as OHV. 5Mile Pass, West of Utah Lake, South of Tooele along SR73. Several contiguous miles of pure OHV terrain.
UN JUEGO ESPECTACULAR DE NIÑOS MAYORES - !!!MEJOR IMPOSIBLE !!!
Seems like yall could air down a little bit more. The buggy seemed like it was

That buggy should be climbing that wall on the right during 6.06
It broke before it could get there
Were only black Jeeps allowed? #BlackJeepsMatter
That 1996-2005 wrangler needs rear lockers. lol
Nice, what kind of tires has buggy 6:04?
This jk is one of my favorites, and I'm a die hard cj fan/owner. You guys actually have driving skill rather than just pedal to the medal nonsense.

I think the black JKU with the coilovers forgot to unlock his front swaybar? dosen't seem to flex that much compared to the other black JKU haha
Lockers are the shizzle.

This is like 10 minutes from me
Um black JKU at the end needs some real beadlocks and lower pressure and it would have crawled it
it needs a 4 inch lift and bigger tires
I love Jeeps and if you see any body that says Jeep are dumb band them from youtube
