Cause your hand or fingers are twisting towards the left or right side of your body. Or think when driving counter clockwise you turn left...clockwise you go right....its really simple
YES!!! Clockwise and counterclockwise I get, but left or right in a circle has never made sense to me. For someone who has been yelled at by a few ex-boyfriends and a grandfather for not understanding “lefty loosey/ righty tighty” when dealing with a circle, it made me unreasonably happy to hear Claire say the same thing.
It makes perfect sense though, imagine you're at a point in the center of a circle, if someone tells you to 'turn to your right' you're always going to be turning clockwise... Hence righty-tighty = clockwise and lefty-loosy = anticlockwise.
My favorite part of BA test kitchen stuff - and I mean I know of course it's cut for content, but still - is that the people are so fantastically skilled at taking and giving critique.
Hence righty-tighty = clockwise and lefty-loosy = anticlockwise.
i love these videos because they're simultaneously a cooking show and a wacky parks and rec-style workplace comedy
Absolutely
right???? and brad and claire give off such jim and pam vibes
Exactly!
That is literally the best description of this show.
The ba kitchen seems like it's a place where it's very CLICKY 😵
Gabby squating to stay out of the frame was the most adorable thing ive seen today😭
Was gonna say the same xD. So cute.
She grabbed the phone so quick too. I almost didnt see it haha
Claire: "I'm gonna make a gourmet..."
Chris: You need to TEMPER the chocolate.
Chris comes in beating egg whites, smells the food, tempers chocolate, man is fancy
My favorite part of BA test kitchen stuff - and I mean I know of course it's cut for content, but still - is that the people are so fantastically skilled at taking and giving critique. There's a really collegial give and take, and yeah, sometimes someone's bummed out 'cuz they thought they'd nailed something and someone else says they didn't, but the sense of positive collaboration is really wholesome.
"At this point they make me say this..."
BLINK TWICE if you need saving!
😰
So... reading the ingredients is not Claire's favorite part? 😕
Lol right 💀 it reminded me of that Miley episode of black mirror
THIS WHOLE SHOW IS A LIE!!!
The ba kitchen seems like it's a place where it's very CLICKY 😵
"There's no after breakfast dessert, that's inappropriate."
Claire knows what's up.
I feel attacked
Hey, Claire, just in case no one has told you this, we watch these videos because we love you, and we think you are incredibly talented and smart, not necessarily because we love making gourmet Twix, so, it's okay if at any point this becomes more stressful than fun to make a different series. K? Ok. Good talk.
I know it sounds mean, but Claire's breakdowns are a very essential part of this series. And I kinda love it..
no
idk...I love cooking, I also freak out a lot cooking, but I continue doing so every damn time xD Never stopping trying new things either, and for what I see, shes kinda the same. Its stressfull but fun/challenging at same time
@@ItsJoeHut it makes it more real, that we know this isn't easy that this is *hard* which makes me appreciate Claire even more and be even more impressed with what she made and how she persevered.
Edit : grammer
not enough traffic on this comment
"There is no after breakfast dessert thats inappropriate"
Maria DeRoche she didn’t say anything about having dessert for breakfast tho...loophole
I think we all know that the "classic" American breakfast is just dessert with a different name anyway XD
Claire: “it’s going weirdly well”
Me: checks to see how much of the video is left
Me: oh no
Liron Weirdo I did that too lel
Lmao i was especially looking for that comment to see if someone does the same thing
i read it in julen solomita voice
every single episode ever tbh
you always have to count on that day three curse
"it's going weirdly well.."
looks at the time bar
well you just wait claire.😂
I did the same thing haha
"Well you haven't done the chocolate yet... you know how that goes." Claire's face at that realization. 😂
*Sees that this video is almost 40 minutes long
*Is immediately concerned about Claire's well-being
at the end I'm thinking, "maybe I could make this"
then
"place the cookies in the dehydrator"
"You want to taste something disgusting?"
Chris: .....Yes.
Chris is the unsung hero of this show.
no replies to a 2k liked comment... k den
Brad proceeding to stick his whole face in the caramel pan is a mood
"Why would people do drugs when they can just huff freshly made caramel?" -Brad
no one:
absolutely no one:
Brad: “a Twixie"
Brad: “HOW’D THE TEMPERING GO CLAIRE?”
Claire: “Brad.. I’m gonna need you to go away and come back..”
This has gotta be the best BA moment of all time
Claire: having a sad moment
Vacuum sealer: VVVVVVRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Whitney Chen omg, I died laughing at that part 😂
It was like "VRRRRRR *sigh* VRRR
when gaby crouches for the phone and claire says "oh no you can be in the video" that was so kind. beautiful, funny, and kind... claire is wonderful
Claire when things go wrong: can't even.
Claire when things go well: I'm over it
Claire: What could go wrong?
*laughs in Brad*
Claire seriously knocked this out of the park. They don't look identical to the original because they look better.
yes she claired the twiie
claire: confidence level is pretty high
me: *checks length of video*
claire: :)
me: oh claire...
dana caro. I looked at the length and said “oh Claire” too 😂
SHE SAID “A NATIONAL TREASURE” AND YES WE WOULD ALL DIE FOR YOU CLAIRE
“You guys are ruining a great person okay?”
Awh, Brad. You sweet person you
I do worry, how at the end she said nothing was coming to mind as having been fun. :( Take care of yourself Claire!
I really like that we get to see Claire get frustrated, then push through. It's a reminder that even professionals have moments. Pretty sure most (if not all) of us watching would be far more frustrated far earlier in the process. Keep up the great work, Claire! You really make the show great!
Devotional Beauty I found it encouraging too! I messed up 2 INGREDIENT pizza dough last night and thought maybe I’m just not good at cooking, but thought about how she messes up and felt better!
A good plot line needs a conflict.
999th like
The sad music when she was vacuum sealing the chocolate had me dying lmaooooooo poor Claire haha
@@el.5137 Wasn't it, though? I found it funny, but it also made me feel uncomfortable for some reason, lmao.
@@el.5137 ["Honestly if you're employed/time is valuable I wouldn't even bother, car's genna sell for about $300."]
It makes me sad that claire sometimes seems like she doesn't enjoy doing these, I know the majority of us would prefer she do something she likes. You can tell she's a good soul. I love BA vids cos the sense of camaraderie in the kitchen is super homely, I love when the others are in gourmet makes and Claire looks happier when too
"At this point they make me say this, but now to my favorite part: the ingredients"
"Who am I? Chris Morocco?" is the quote of this episode.
37:05 for your reference
That was such a Chris thing to say, though.
Rapo: “It’s a Cookie Bar”
Everyone: “No it isn’t, it’s a Candy Bar”
Twix: “We are a cookie bar”
Counterpoint: it's a chocolate bar
cooandy bar
It’s a choccy bar or a biscuit caramel chocolate finger
Amirul Azizol I feel like if anything, a chocolate bar would be the least accurate description.
brooke but it is
Wow... This video has 6.6M views which I’m sure none of them expected..lol So glad to see this channel doing so well though, I love all of them so much.👌🏼 Cheers BA!
Love how the editing is always adapted to the vibes of the host with each show
The editors know each host so well!!
Yes, i am learning a lot from these editors.
Salma Bourouain this is such a good observation i never noticed, but now i see!
