Very happy with mine
@@BillyLaneChoppers looks very beautiful nice set up aswell billy
I've been a biker for most of my 67 years and I love to watch you work, Billy. Love your explanations and your skill. You're a true motorcycle guy...
Thank you. I’ve been doing this over 35 years, ride every day, & truly love my job.
So exciting to see our Ironton Utility Trailer go from the box to the road! And seeing your bike roll up onto the trailer for the first time - SUPER satisfying! Very glad you're enjoying its performance so far and we're excited to see the additional modifications you make for your race gear.
People’s reactions, when they see me pulling my racer behind the Harley-Davidson Road Glide, are priceless.
A bike pulling a bike. Can’t get much cooler than that!
We can’t say Billy isn’t about that biker life
Not sure the roadglide was in gear but it should be! And maybe it should be chalked as well. When loading the 45 he almost pushed the roadglide off its stand
@@terrymoore9185 don't assume we didn't think about that happening, a few attempts were made to make sure it didn't push off the side stand....
@@bigjohn2323yeah in slo mo it looked pretty spooky.
awsome!!!! just a thought billy... try mounting the axle above the leaf springs .. that sould lower the trailer a little.. to get a better load angle and level it some.. love your videos man
Billy this kind of stuff is why you are Bad Ass. You take care bud and stay safe.
Southern ingenuity at it's finest 😉👍
YOU GOT IT GOING ON BILLY, ROLL ON BROTHER 🤜🏼🤛🏼👊🏻👊🏻😤😎
I tell you, I tell you man about this dude named Billy, keep up the good work..
That's such a beautiful Vintage Harley Davidson! 🤘😎🤘
You're still one of my favorite Channels on TH-cam! You're really awesome at making videos and sharing your knowledge with the world!
You are a great Spokesperson for Northern Tools
Pretty cool, a bike towing a bike. Look forward to seeing the finished product. Nice job
Billy is the man.
I love em both! Everything about Billy Lane is clean and mean! Great work as usual 👏🏽 👍🏽 👌🏽👌💪🏾 🎉🎉❤❤
Love your video's there so detailed in when your building or making something thats what i love to watch and learn thanks for sharing.
Always love tuning in, salute sir 🤚 be safe brother. Obsessed with this one
Billy, you’re my favorite builder and YT channel. I’ve been a fan since early 2000s and Chop Fiction is one of my favorite books. Much respect 🫡
The Color on your 22 is gorgeous
Beautiful Bike
Your racer
Doesn't need words
So Cool
Nice little trailer
Always enjoy your videos
Have a great weekend
Thank you Billy just got back from northren with my trailer
Those vintage bike races and hillclimbs are really cool. They do those more in the U.K. than in the U.S.
My buddy and I saw those trailers at our local dealership. Great option instead of trying to get your bike in the back of your truck.
You know he would have welded one up but he had to show us regulars how to do an easy bolt together one 😉
Lol, yep!😅
Man I'm diggin the 45.
Great idea! Love the bikes.
Man, that high center of gravity had me freakin out until I saw your comment below saying you're going to lower the axle.
Nice looking set up, after a couple trips you will have the bugs worked out.
Been a fan since biker build off !
Well Sir, I pray you cleaned those bearings and put proper grease in them. I bought the trailer with a cargo box and two spare tires. The first thing I did was clean out that blue light weight grease and repacked them with high speed grease for wheel bearings. Good Luck at the races.
You are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
Dude you rock
A very cool setup you’ve done! 😁👍
Very cool setup, man. Super-simple, accessible, and cheap :) Nicely done😀👍👍
Love it! The number of people who avoid riding in the rain is too high. Personally, I love riding in the rain. Just be sure to check your clutch. Cheers!
Cool as always buddy. From the UK 🇬🇧
Billy being Billy. Legend 💯
Cool! You could put the axle on top of the springs and get the trailer lower.
I’m probably going to do that this week
Snap On Cordless ratchets are the shit! I have one in my hand about 8hrs a day!
I simply loove those old things.. What a shame I was into newer and more chopped things, back when things were thrown away or sold for a few beers...
BL content is always quality content.
Bitchin',Pivot aluminum channel for loading,Electric brakes on the trailer...nice rig Billy.kudos and always upright!
Great video.
Racing is life and the rest is just waiting. Perfection in every detail. Billy show us your I think, '38 Crocker, I mentioned about a year ago and you responded to me. Stay in the wind!
I have a friend who with his wife probably weights more than that race bike and trailer.
That is just neat to see
this video gives me confidence to use my camry to tow my bike
I hope you see my comment Billy. As you know, the wheels/tires/bearings are only rated for 45 mph, and speaking from firsthand experience with these, sometime in the near future, the very 1st thing is to do a wheel/tire upgrade. ALSO: if this trailer uses the same bearings mine had, you'll play hell finding replacement bearings of the correct size, so a better axle with standard hub/bearing size will be next.........I had to do this. My present axle/hubs alone cost more than the entire trailer, lol. But it was well worth it, because you can then ( with better wheels/tires too ) pull this thing safely at interstate speeds for as long as ya like.
I hope the toe ball and hitch give you enough articulation in a corner. I know your not going into a corner scraping knees but I thought it would have a different type of hitch. Love your videos billy.
Bad-Ass dude!
Sweet set up Billy. You need some risers and bars for that road glide though.
Great knife right there!
Awesome job man, inspiring watching you work...that road glide is pretty nice too... what pipes will you put on it Billy?.... do a video on that man.
That's the most awesome tow pig I've ever seen..
Now You're giving me less reasons that I shouldn't buy a RG ST!
🏁..'nuff said
Damn, great workmanship!👍
Nothing like Florida’s Liquid Sunshine.
I really like your Moxie Billy, if I was going to build a trailer it would be offset axle so the bike would be closer to the ground. What do you think about that?
Noice one Billy Safe Hawlin out there bruv
Billy if I may I would like to make one suggestion on your traylor if u could find a drop axel for it it would set the center of gravity much lower and u would have a better handeling trailer
Correct, & thank you. I’m working on that now.
I guess I'm getting old but that's f@#$ing cool
Go hubless on those trailer wheels!Lol!
Good deal
Interesting idea
Bad ass awesome 😎
So many people get hella mad when someone tows their bike, I'd pay to see the reactions from a bike towing a bike lol
DAMMIT! You just made trailering a bike to a meet look cool. Lets see the checkbook bikers pull that off!
Too cool 👍👍
As a former Floridian I want to clarify that that was not rain. It was vertical humidity................ You would not have been able to see him if it was rain.
Oh dang lol. That’s pretty cool.
Griz Robinson used to pull his TF bike to Sturgis with a Panhead. RIP, GRIZ.
That’s just bad ass
This is the Biker version of a truck at its finest
That is awesome. Now that’s the way to sho up at the track awesome that’s all I can think.
Fkn cool man, gotta luv it
Grey Roadglides always remind me of Bender from Futurama
I like the trailer, but I’d lower it. Great video.
how to be the coolest cat in town in about 10 minutes
Wow billy your Harley nearly fell over when you pushed the race bike on the trailer be careful brother nice setup though 👍
hey Billy , with the added weight of the extra bike hardware mount , dosent make enought difference in the balance cetre point ? . just watchin' an enjoyin' Thanks !!! great Work !!! Strong too !!!
Hi Billy
I would love to see you modify that trailer so the deck height is what it would be if the trailer were upside down. Makes me nervous with the cg up so high.
Can you do some motorcycle rims for the trailer or something, it needs some personality of some sort, great start
You don’t seem concerned about a high centre of gravity on the trailer… I’ve a sidecar I was thinking about adapting to carry a bike but prefer to keep it low. You could use underslung springs or an indispension axle like on my bike trailer to lower it… just a thought…
your exhaust which brand is that awesome
Billy being chased by a ghost bike...I can see this happening.
Bill, may I talk (phone call) with you about possibly racing up here in New England (and elsewhere) "en masse" ( a bunch of riders) with your group of "Class C hand shift" enthusiasts? I think you might like the idea of road racing within club rules as to showcase this important piece of Americana.
Something to maybe think about your change you got hooked up from the trailer to the bike maybe leave those off if something were to happen I would hate for it to drag you with it love your show if we lived close together I know we would be friends if you ever need an understudy simple guy from Wyoming would love to hang out looking forward to the next one
That’s cool’s as F--K What wheel chock are you using on that trailer
Nice
Interested to see how it handle flying on 44 towards the track...
I've always used plastic trailer chains on a motorcycle trailer. You don't want that thing dragging you into the ditch.
Please post a vid how you wire up the lights to the ST
Because I love ya brother. Aren’t you gonna want a swivel couple on the trailer so you don’t get a bind on the ball?
Well sir where does the ramp go when you're by yourself 🤔 👀🇺🇲👍
Great video Billy, always been a big fan, one question though, when you pull a bike onto the trailer, does the wheel chock do a good job holding the bike level while you install the straps? Normally, I always put my kickstand down when I load, then strap to secure.
Can you secure the ramp to the trailer next to the bike ?
Plenty of room to mount a fast access lockable toolbox, for straps, etc.
Put the trailer axle on top of the springs where they should be just like all car diffs and the back of the trailer would not be sticking up in the air and it will bring the centre of gravity down and make it easy to load. Just sayin built a lot of trailers for different applications cheers from New Zealand 😁🇬🇸
Maybe try the ‘48-‘54 dropped leaf spring Chevy truck front axle?
A motorcycle hauling a motorcycle. You don’t see that everyday lol.
When does OutlawTv is set to release?
is that older green dually for sale ?
Billy I'm sure you have Pals in the business that owe you some favors that could Paint or wrap the trailer and make it kick ass for your Business & Pleasure when you finish adding sides, fenders, boxes etc. Let someone help you for once brother,,,Go Noles...
