It's not my failure I'm heart broken about. I'm doing fine. My parents are another story. I watched them as they first joined PPL over 25 years ago. they were EBQ, went on the trips and attended most of the conventions. I was never thrilled about them getting in all the multi level marketing. I know the stats on these so called businesses, and how small the success rate really is, so I never did much with ppl because I was not a believer. My parents ended up getting further and further in debt trying to promote legal shield to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. With the name change, and then with harland stonecipher dying they changed many rules leaving people to make even less money. My parents died penniless. I do know a little bit about ppl/legal shield. When I hear someone speak about legal shield I tell them my negative experiences. So I called legal defense and no one was answering on hold for a long time was calling to find out if they indeed were never connected together and had to do a name change ?

The promises are vastly overstated and people drop out faster than you can ever sign them. LS takes the funds directly out of your account before you get paid for the new signees. Careful my friend, this is very thin ice.

It’s simple exponential math. When that happens, we can simply say that the market is saturated and all those last tens of millions of people on the short end of the stick will have nowhere to turn to sell memberships. They will be the workhouse for the top few. At that point Legal Shield will collapse. I want anyone to challenge me on this. How would you feel about joining a business that may benefit you at the expenses of millions of others. 5 - Legal Shield membership is not that impressive. I would rather pay a lawyer from out of pocket than through membership fees for years in hopes of covering a legal issue. Also Legal Shield doesn’t cover everything, you might as well save your money.

This is in no way an intention to convince you but to share my 13 years of experience with the company. 3) When the member enrolls, roughly 1/3 goes to the law firm, 1/3 goes to the company, and 1/3 goes to the associate. It is more complicated than that, but in a nutshell, that's the breakdown. 4) It is mathematically impossible to grow an organization where 3 get 3 who get 3 in perpetuity until everyone on Earth is an associate. Case in point, not everyone becomes a LegalShield associate. The majority of our members have nothing to do with the business opportunity. In Colorado, 63% of active members got their membership through their employer as a voluntary benefit. Then, people quit. That's not unique to our company. I left the military after 11 years. The majority of businesses fail in the first few years. 80% of realtors quit in their first 2 years. People quit, it's human nature. 5) You obviously don't use attorneys. Prior to LegalShield, my business attorney charged $400/hour and we put down a $10,000 retainer. My legal plan for my business is $37.90, which allows me service for both business and personal. I had my LegalShield attorney review 2 contracts on my behalf just this week. Let's say that an attorney charged $300/hr. They would have more than likely billed me for AT LEAST 2 hours, if not more for just one of those documents. That single day's value is worth 31 months of my LegalShield membership. It's poor business practice if you are paying full price for an attorney, and, BTW, all of our law firms do have their own clients paying the high hourly fees. I can't speak to the 2/5 customer rating, but they do maintain an A+ rating. What I can share is that the average Net Promoter Score (NPS) for LegalShield is currently 58. When you learn that 29 is the average NPS for the legal services industry as a whole, you realize that LegalShield is truly the gold standard. Thank you for your service. I served 11 years myself. That's fine that you don't believe you need any of these services. The majority of Americans simply cannot afford to pick up the phone and talk to an attorney. 3- let’s do the math. Let’s say you bring in 100 new membership for $30 per member which is a tall order. That is 100x$30=$3000. Most of that money will be used to pay law firms and other people on top of this huge pyramid scheme. You’ll probably get a small portion of that money.
4 - if you do the math right and if every associate brings in a few more associate, then in less than 6 months the entire population of the United States and Canada will get involved in legal shield, right? It’s simple exponential math. When that happens, we can simply say that the market is saturated and all those last tens of millions of people on the short end of the stick will have nowhere to turn to sell memberships. They will be the workhouse for the top few. At that point Legal Shield will collapse. I want anyone to challenge me on this. How would you feel about joining a business that may benefit you at the expenses of millions of others.
5 - Legal Shield membership is not that impressive. I would rather pay a lawyer from out of pocket than through membership fees for years in hopes of covering a legal issue. Also Legal Shield doesn’t cover everything, you might as well save your money.
I appreciate your response, but you are ignorant of how it works. I don't know what happened to #1 and #2, however, I will address #3-#5. This is in no way an intention to convince you but to share my 13 years of experience with the company.
3) When the member enrolls, roughly 1/3 goes to the law firm, 1/3 goes to the company, and 1/3 goes to the associate. It is more complicated than that, but in a nutshell, that's the breakdown.
4) It is mathematically impossible to grow an organization where 3 get 3 who get 3 in perpetuity until everyone on Earth is an associate. Case in point, not everyone becomes a LegalShield associate. The majority of our members have nothing to do with the business opportunity. In Colorado, 63% of active members got their membership through their employer as a voluntary benefit. Then, people quit. That's not unique to our company. I left the military after 11 years. The majority of businesses fail in the first few years. 80% of realtors quit in their first 2 years. People quit, it's human nature.
5) You obviously don't use attorneys. Prior to LegalShield, my business attorney charged $400/hour and we put down a $10,000 retainer. My legal plan for my business is $37.90, which allows me service for both business and personal. I had my LegalShield attorney review 2 contracts on my behalf just this week. Let's say that an attorney charged $300/hr. They would have more than likely billed me for AT LEAST 2 hours, if not more for just one of those documents. That single day's value is worth 31 months of my LegalShield membership. It's poor business practice if you are paying full price for an attorney, and, BTW, all of our law firms do have their own clients paying the high hourly fees.

@@irondragon7992 1) The associates do not receive a salary. Everyone is 1099-commission based only. 2) As in any independent contractor position, everyone works different hours. I can't speak to the 2/5 customer rating, but they do maintain an A+ rating. What I can share is that the average Net Promoter Score (NPS) for LegalShield is currently 58. When you learn that 29 is the average NPS for the legal services industry as a whole, you realize that LegalShield is truly the gold standard. Thank you for your service. I served 11 years myself. That's fine that you don't believe you need any of these services. The majority of Americans simply cannot afford to pick up the phone and talk to an attorney. I've heard the horror stories first hand from folks who claimed they were passed around when they needed help. Most civil issues can be resolved without a lawyer. MLM has never been a sound business practice.

You wouldn't feel that way if you actually visited the main office. It is so beautiful and full of life and smiles. We really are like a family and we devote our lives to the betterment of the masses. Some people get confused and think that for under $30 a month will grant them everything with no questions and they don't take the time to read over the benefits and what they actually cover. PPLSI proudly displays its address on the internet, scam center do not do that. Scam centers hide.
