I really wish they did another gundam street fighter type game. I would really love another one what includes the stuff from 00 and build fighters/build divers.
Yeah, God Gundam and Devil Gundam were translated as "Burning" and "Dark" Gundam respectively. Deathscythe Hell Custom is also called "Deathscythe H Custom" by the announcer in the character select screen.
@@TrueAmmySensei First off, thank you for the info. Second, what the actual hell? Like, as a Taiwanese where missionaries did a lot of questionable/heinous things(and continues to do them) to get established here in Taiwan, it feels like this: Christians: "Let's force everyone to believe our religion." Also Christians: "You can't use the words we taught you."
@@sleepingkirby So for the American broadcast of the show, the network wanted a Y7 (Kids 7yo and up can watch) so they had to edit a lot of footage and dialogue. No mentions of religion, devil, god, no blood, no offensive language, the violence was toned down, all nudity was removed, etc etc. As this game is a PS1port of the game, targeted at American kids, they edited the names to keep consistency.
@@Mouseforatu First off. I know. I actually worked in an animation studio in the early 2000's in the US. The place I worked at actually had to removed pentagrams from an anime they were trying to bring to the US (never happened). Second, my mention of this was because: Gundam battle assault 2 Game release date: July 18, 2002 US broadcast date for G Gundam: August 5, 2002 This game predates the US dub release of G Gundam. My surprise is that this game, and the change of the names, predates the release of the series itself. Which is a huge rarity.
See, he technically does, but command throws in this game are actually strikes; they're blockable. For that reason, I don't use it outside of stun combos.
Sick! I never knew PlayStation emulator can play through online. Gundam battle assault 2 is a good game and still have it.
Not only can it play online, it's rollback netcode of incredible quality! Even playing with people from far away countries is incredibly smooth!
We need more games like this!
This burning Gundam isn't playin around!
Edit: Ammy, your Burning Gundam is really good!
Thanks, dood! The character is really fun so I've been putting in some work with him! 💪

GRENADE! cool vid dude. Didnt know this was a thing.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wait... The game has it listed as Burning Gundam? Not God Gundam? They censored the name way back then?

Why doesnt burning hace a command grab?
