The first time I played through this stage, after all the chaos going on in the tower and the elevators and all, I reached the outside balcony at exactly 4:10. You know the part where you climb up the outside wall of the tower and you can see the entire city from there? I HAD to stop and enjoy the scenery and the piano solo. It was perfect. ... And then the solo ended and I went back to killing everyone.
Totally agree. Classic style of gameplay with refined graphic and amazing music. This game brings back the happiest game experience for me. Hard corps uprising is my favorite game on Xbox.
Freaking epic from beginning to end...Bothe the music AND the stage it plays in. My brother and I agree hands down that this is our absolute favorite. Hell, when enemies stop appearing for a short while, we, like, go into the fixed shot stance and just wham the joystick up and down and make the characters look like they're playing air guitar or some shit. X3 lol We're stupid.
@GreentheGunstar You know, i could honestly picture the characters playing this shit. Bahamut on the lead guitars, Crystal on rhythm, Sayuri on Bass, and Harley on the drums!
@CujoFoxtar O_O...JUBEI!? With THIS as his theme song? Freakin' epic! I mean, he's strong enough to take someone out with one strike (as you can *kind of* see in Taokaka's Astral Heat) who knows how strong he really is, but this theme just screams "Danger! Danger! You don't wanna fuck with this guy!"
wooo!!! Im so happy that Im not the only one that do that. x3 damn!! That music is contagious to wham the weapons like guitars hearing this great music!!! ] I love that music too!! SO DAMN EPIC!! :D
If May from Guilty Gear had a badass older brother, this would be his theme music. It certainly has the feel of a pirate raid of some sort... Maybe that's just because the song's in 3/4 meter.
@GreentheGunstar Hahaha, I do that on the highway level when the enemies stop, or when I'm riding the elevators on this level =P totally love the music, and dicing through like 1000 guys in 5 minutes is boss.
@OrochiShiki Yeah. Leviathan would play keys...Imagine: the dark knight of the empire having had a delicate side and diligently practiced playing the piano in his youth...X3
0:00 - 1:22 = 3/4 Stroke 1:22 - 1:37 = 6/4 Stroke and 1:38 is again 3/4 Stroke Repeat.. 4:22 = 4/4 Stroke Rest is in 3/4 Stroke.. Which Composer Of all over the World could compose such a good music like that??
Yeah, when I was little I imagined that games of the future would be like this game. Then the double whammy of bad live action games via CD-ROM and the 3D revolution crushed my dreams. Still, it turns out I was right . . . just 20 years off . . .
awesome tune for an awesome game by Ishiwatari-Sensei, an awesome composer. however, am I the only one who's noticed a strong resemblance of this track with Alter Bridge's "I'm Coming Home"? please reply if you too are able to hear the similarities!
The first time I played through this stage, after all the chaos going on in the tower and the elevators and all, I reached the outside balcony at exactly 4:10. WATCH THE FUCK OUT, SENATORS! WE'RE COMING FOR YOU NOW!
Themes like these bring me back to replaying certain levels on arcade games, over and over, just to hear the theme again.
4:24 I wish this part could have been expanded upon in the track. It's my favorite part. Has a really intense and somewhat melancholy feel to it.
Totally agree.
Classic style of gameplay with refined graphic and amazing music.

Hard corps uprising is my favorite game on Xbox.
This game gives me the same awesome feeling as the old games -in similar genre- did.
This deserves more credit than it gets.
Also the piano at 4:10 and then the breakdown at 4:24 is just magic, as if you're finally closing on the final enemy and going for the kill.

There’s also a piano part maybe either leviathan would play that or Sayuri would play that along with base
Daisuke ishiwatari composes music LIKE A BOSS!
@CujoFoxtar

Beautiful
I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Holy sh*t, it feels great.
@GreentheGunstar He doesn't take them out, he simply swipes in and saves them before Tao hits them.
wooo!!! Im so happy that Im not the only one that do that. x3

love this theme, always ready to kick ass when I hear this ;-)
@dave55811 I completely agree, usually I'm running up the archway after leviathon at that part XD
@OrochiShiki
Yeah. Leviathan would play keys...Imagine: the dark knight of the empire having had a delicate side and diligently practiced playing the piano in his youth...X3
I just sprinted the first part of this stage to the elevator without taking damage. I was like "whaaaaaa....? O.o"
I really love this music but I wish game can be on console verison of it.
0:00 - 1:22 = 3/4 Stroke
1:22 - 1:37 = 6/4 Stroke
and 1:38 is again 3/4 Stroke
Repeat..
4:22 = 4/4 Stroke
Rest is in 3/4 Stroke..
Which Composer Of all over the World could compose such a good music like that??
Daisuke Ishiwatari, that's who
Where's Konami games at these days?
Good question lol
*after learning how to use Famitracker*
I'm SO doing this for Famitracker. XD YAY!
Daisuke Ishiwatari is a hero of game music.
These Song Makes me Wanna do a Manhunt even My Life gonna be cost for it

Like gunstar heroes shit here!(I MISS THAT GAME TOO!😔) But i know this is way more fun but do something new about too! GUNSTAR HEROES!😋
awesome tune for an awesome game by Ishiwatari-Sensei, an awesome composer. however, am I the only one who's noticed a strong resemblance of this track with Alter Bridge's "I'm Coming Home"? please reply if you too are able to hear the similarities!
4:10 Best part
@dave55811 It usually plays when you're in an elevator so it's like some kind of elevato music I guess.
Is it just me or does the whole soundtrack yell "Rise up and fight tyranny with revolution" atmosphere?
@GreentheGunstar well see how Astrals are....automatic kills that's not a good example, but he's one of the 7 heroes...so yeah he have to be powerful
@GreentheGunstar
Even with his mask on, you can take one look at him and say: "Preppy". :)
biased opinion, the beginning until 0:41 is the best part
@GreentheGunstar This should've been Johnny's them instead of Liquor Bar & Drunkard.
Where is he?!?
Am I the only person who hates the ride missiles up an elevator shaft part?
@tyrantravealpha
....With Leviathan on keys. ;x
But Contra games are fun(except ROGUE CORPS!? WHAT!? LOL😆😋)
@OrochiShiki Nobody cares about the keyboard players, so that's a good position for him. XD
Guile vs M Bison
@GreentheGunstar no you're not, cuz i do the same thing too.
My only [other] wish; More Contra, with Missile Riding Sequences!
