um... their called Merchant chest becausr the contests of the chest are tne inventory of a merchant, funfact if you ADD gold to the chest it raises the base gold of the corresponding merchant

All these chests are inventory chests so most of them belong to kajit traders that go outside cities which is were the chests are most commanly found but the one under whiterun is the inventory chest of the companions smith.

The fourth chest in Whiterun you can get to a much easier way. All you have to do is get a platter, go up to Jorvaskr. On the side of the building opposite the entrance to the Underforge, drop the platter and then hold it up to the wall and sprint toward it until you glitch through the wall and under Jorvaskr. Turn around and walk beneath the Underforge and you'll see the chest just to your right. Not sure if that makes sense but I can't find a video on it.
Everytime I try to get to the Blue Palace chest I end up at Platform 9 3/4's. What the hell!!!

@@not_coreyyt2834 nice man, the game is a blast! I forgot to mention that after waiting for 48 hours you must talk with the trader again to respawn the loot.
The First three are khajit chests and you can tell by the skooma and moon sugar in them. They will not spawn if a khajit trader in not in that town. The fourth one is the chest for the black smith in whiterun, and the fifth is the chest for the mage in the blue place. Every store and trader has these, but most are impossible to reach

SO... I found out how to make the khajit merchant chests respawn VERY fast. This worked for me at the dawnstar chest and I'm sure it will work EASIER at the solitude chest. The khajit merchant needs to be open for business in the town where the chest you're looting is for this to work. Go and loot the chest for whatever you want, then go over to the khajit merchant, make a quicksave, then KILL the khajit merchant. Load the quicksave file, talk to the merchant, then go check the chest. It should be refilled. Then repeat.... You can do this to get a shitload of gold, gems, and valuable potions/poisons early in the game and very fast.

For the one I whiterun there is a much easier way. Go to the circle with the plants and then go to the house across from it. Glitch into the ground

this game if better than any fallout yes but this was the actual good game in the elder scrolls series, Oblivion was god awful while Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 4 were all incredible games.

There's a easier one for Whiterun, it takes you to the Skyforge exit the city follow the left wall one of the rocks touching the wall it will have the rock texture like all the others but you can walk through it
Lol theres a much easier way, theres a house that has a bunch of flowers on one area of it, literally walk into the house wall and you will fall through the ground

psykopyro 48 hours then they respawn. Can take all then keeps selling it to the Khajit over and over to Max out your speech. Then take the stuff again to sell around Skyrim to gain lots of septims. Easy way to buy homes after you do the quick quest to be thane that is
you can use a wooden plate the same way as the platter to breach the door in the Ragged Flaggon. You'll fall into a pool of water, and there are 5 (if I recall correctly) chests underwater with various merchant loot. Careful though, the ones marked as stealing will ironically make the thieves upset at you if you're in range (though the first time you steal, they'll just say things like "you could've just asked", and you should be able to unsheath/sheath your weapons if they end up attacking).

the fact that the whiterun glitch is still there makes me laugh, they just painted the game with new paint and sold it again with no touch ups whatso ever.
I found a glitch just like it in Solitude where you can glitch though the floor and leave Solitude.

yeah it has the a vampire one called Dawn guard where it adds the ability to acquire a crossbow (OP as hell), a DLC called Dragonborn which allows u to tame and ride dragons I believe and probably something else but u forget, and some other weird one where u get to adopt kids and pets for the kids

you can just type coc qasmoke on console command if u want , theres a lot of items there (for pc only)
or you could type setav.attackdamagemult 100 and run around one hit killing everything with an iron dagger

Christian Neumann I'm gonna laugh at people who don't use the patch and the game suddenly bugged out.
I have full access to these chests and my game never "bugs out" on me. Besides, I just wait for the Khajiit vendors to get to those locations and just buy the stuff I need instead of raiding tbe chests.
Christian Neumann I had that one and I was a pretty damn high level but I was still able to acquire the Dawnstar chest and the Whiterun chest

johny cordero It does. They are the inventories of specific merchants. Some of them you have to save, kill the merchant and reload your save to get the loot to keep respawning. (loot chest, go to merchant it pertains to, save, kill them, and reload) and it will respawn.

Also it depends upon us whether or not to glitch the game doesn't have a Multiplayer so no one can be superior by doing so. To each their own.

David Crawford you can plate glitch the hall of wolf folks on the very southern side or the wall between two of their arrow targets. You don't have to go nearly as far to get to the chest.

nimbylive Oh, now I remember you use a wooden plate to get through the wall. I find dealing with the plate is rather annoying so I just use the barrel which is more reliable for me.

All you're doing is exploiting game mechanics to rob the merchants of their stock, fine if you don't mind cheating but then why bother travelling to the checsts in the first place. Just add them to your inventory theough the console.

That videos is what happens when people rip off videos of other people who did them 5 years ago without getting the proper infos for the sake of views because the Special Edition is getting a bit of players. But don't forget to name the game SKYRIM REMASTERED because it's a different game than Skyrim...

Getting to the skyforge chest is easiest if you use a platter. Press a platter against the rock that the skyforge is on and run in to the platter. It works best on flat surfaces and if the bottom of the platter is facing the player (if you manage having the bottom facing you, going through walls is usually very easy and very smooth). I've been doing that ever since I found out that you can use a platter to faze through walls. Also, using platters offers the ability to find the chests in actual stores as well finding the Do Not Delete (skyrims version of the paint brush in oblivion)

agreed, the vendor chests is for people who want to meta the game a lil, without actually useing mods or cheats, its a more legit way to game the system a lil, since you can always just NOT touch the chests if you don't want to use them

looting the merchant chest is a more "legit" way to "meta" the game, since its not quiet out-right cheating, since there's still no guarantee the chest will have what you actually want or need

The one in white rum can be done simpler by getting a platter, putting it to the jorrvaskr walls and sprinting into it

4:01 if you have 2nd rank of whirlwind sprint go on top of jorrvasker and use it, its bit faster
Sky forge chest fun fact, if you get on top of the chest you can farm it, you can get on it by whirlwind sprinting, which may take a few tries, or you can use do not delete chests as a stair case. From there loot it, wait 3 days, and when eorland is using the forge look at him, talk, check shop, leave and loot chest. Repeat. It was really good to do this on Xbox 360 using the sped up wait time exploit, take a bit longer on ps4 and Xbox one

There is also another way of getting into the Whiterun chest, which is with a bowl and the corner next to the first two training dummies in Jorrvaskr
You can actually get every merchants chest if u have one of the do not delete chests.
the one in whiterun is the inventory for the skyforge, this chest will spawn new items over time. and there is an easier way to get to it, good video tho, I learned of new chests
This were the first things I checked to see if they still worked :)
That first chest there was so many weapons on mines and stuff 😂they were very expensive and good too and I’m only on level 19
For thr whiterun chest, you can take a platter from the campanions hall, leave the hall, drop the platter and pick it up, if you hold the the platter you can run through one of the windows and get to the chest quicker

4:01 - I don't know if something has changed in the past month. I am on Xbox One and I cannot get my character to jump over the wall from the barrel. Furthermore, I can get on the outside of the wall without having to jump off the barrel, but I cannot get into the glitch location under the forge. Can you give a suggestion on how I can get this one to work?

Radiant Raiment chest seems to difficult to get to. I know that you possibly have to find another location inside the store.
Blue Palace one still works as does the Khajiit merchant chests. (I'm on console)
so there is a alternative way to get the whiterun chest if you are have problems but it requires lvl 2 worlwind sprint and at leat 210 or more health you sprint for the skyforge to the roof of the companions then shimmy your way up to the top of the roof as close to wall as you can and sprint off its tricky sometimes and you will need to heal after but its a good way to sell something to the smith there and get it back to resale it
You can also jump on the chest in whiterun with whirlwind sprint and talk to the npc as he is on the forge. Then sell all the items in the chest and they will appear back
