The worst moment was in the hospitals. Can you imagine the health workers trying to save people’s lives. And trump comes on the television saying no one has died! The absolute cruelty is such a crime.

He wanted to cut $700M from the CDC budget in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. He didn't replenish federal stockpiles of PPE and ventilators. He put Kushner in charge of equipment and Kushner hired his friends to do it.
I honestly don't know how you did it. Fear of the virus in the beginning had everyone I know spraying their mail with disinfectants, and you went into a hospital and into infected patient rooms.

A better example would be Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who is not an attorney but seems to understand the economy and environment very well. Pete Buttigieg is another example of a politician that is not an attorney. His Harvard degree is for history and literature. Ross Perot made his millions in the data processing field and related businesses. He advocated a balanced budget and when questioned on how he would do it he gave very good answers
Also, even if you run a non-profit business you have to be fiscally responsible, i.e., you should balance your own budget. Fiscal responsibility is for everyone - a family, a small or large business, a non-profit organization and yes, even the federal government.

I worked as a paramedic during this pandemic and saw first hand how poorly managed it was in America. Seeing young, healthy people in the ICU was very eye opening. So many times I saw "this doesn't affect me, I'm not going to get sick," which told me that some Americans had no concept of community or the connections that we have to other people, and that they saw preventive measures as merely an infringement of their personal "liberty" instead of a way to protect others. I stayed with my dad at the V.A. until security escorted me out after 2 am, two hours after the lockdown commenced. I spent the first two hours of my 48th birthday with the person who created me. Four months later, my dad succumbed to bone cancer. 2020 was the worst year of my life.
I really wish someone would cover those who died of Covid-19 before tests were available. My husband died March 8th 2020. The hospital claimed he didn't need a test because the virus wasn't in our area yet but they admitted 6 months later they didn't have any tests during the time my husband was sick. He died with what looked "somewhat like pneumonia" with opacities on his lungs and brain. The hospital, coroner's office, local health department, CDC, Governor, senators all ignored me. The coroner's office going as far as putting out a preemptive press release saying my husband died of natural causes when the hospital tested him for meningitis, flu and 2 coronavirus strains but not Covid-19. The hospital is the same location in Idaho that made news when they wouldn't let traveling nurses wear masks early on during the pandemic.
Im sorry for your loss it is frustrating. Here's what most likely happened in this situation. No COVID test is necessary. Test for flu: negative. Test for pneumonia and given drugs for pneumonia doesn't change: negative. Test for meningitis and other types. Negative. Well that leaves Coronavirus. It's got the same symptoms as other people he was in contact with.
