I'm in New Zealand...i wanted the borders shut at the end of January ..it took the Government a bit longer to initiate an international travel ban which resulted in positive cases of C-19.
A Quick response to take us to lock down saved many lives and dropped infection to single figures...this only happened by the acceptance and understanding of the situation by the public to self distance/self isolate and to respect public safety. This model will not happen in a society in conflict with the truth and severity of a situation, they have been misled and lied to by the so called Leaders they voted for and are expected to trust.
