Hallo, im new here and i want to give u some information concering ABBA. Well ABBA consisted of two couples agnetha (blonde) with björn ( without beard) and frida and benny. They are still totaly popular and won the eurovision 1974 in Britain with Waterloo. They were also the first Band doing videoclips. So without them prop there are no videoclips hahah ABBA is the best and gives u hope, fun, and if u want u can cry with them. They are unique! Greetings from Austria
So sweet and wholesome compared to more recent/current music videos, right? Great reaction, Dani! Love your shirt, also. 👍🌸. Check out their songs Fernando and Chiquitita, too! They have music videos for both of them, also. They’re both really great.
So happy your doing more ABBA. It's OK to say "cheesy" that's part of their charm. Have you figured out yet that these video's are all pre MTV. They pioneered music video's. Pretty much blazed the trail for MTV. They also recorded most of their singles in multiple languages and dubbed the video for each market. These guy's were very savvy but hard working too. If you keep reacting to them you'll soon figure out they cover every genre too. And do it all to perfection. Great great band. Still in top 5 "depends on how you count" for record sales world wide and still selling strong. If you want to see their take on a show tune "Thank You For The Music" is top notch. Thank's and stay safe.
I don't really see anything "cheesy" about ABBA. The vocal and instrumental performances are top notch, the song arrangements are extremely clever, the melodies are catchy. Song after song. Dance pop music at its best. Of course fun and light-hearted, but that's what most dance music was in that era.
@@rookmaster7502 I'm a big ABBA fan. I don't think their cheesy either. But I felt like that was the word she was avoiding. As a fan I wouldn't have been upset at all. If it's cheesy it's one of my favourite flavours.
I can't hear anything cheesy about ABBA nd their music that's why everyone copies them, it was complicated music nd very technical, they were way way ahead of their time nd far superior to anyone at that time in music history.

Classically trained in Opera, her vocals were what I considered to be groundbreaking in the realm of female rockers. If you really want to talk about range, I would suggest you give a listen to Promises In The Dark ( there is a great live version out there).
I believe the budget for making the video for this track was very small....so they had to make the best of very little. Hence it's basic feel. I'm not sure but I think they were not even thinking of making a video for this track...but when asked to...the budget was small.
Love ABBA. Saw the broadway show about them. I think they were both married to each other. They were both married to each other. The guys and women were married. They broke up around the same time and haven't spoke since like 1980 which is very sad. That's what happens. It's horrible. Correct me if I'm wrong. Yeah they were both married couples. Very good.
One of the males sings also. Check out "does your mother know".
actually, in the first part you're talking about the winner takes it all and how hard it was for her, it actually was very hard for both of them (obviously) but the 'guitarist' actually wrote the lyrics so it must've been hard for both of them not only Agnetha
Dancing Queen is a fantastic song of theirs (my favorite and, I believe, their biggest international hit): th-cam.com/video/xFrGuyw1V8s/w-d-xo.html and Fernando is an absolutely beautiful ABBA song: th-cam.com/video/dQsjAbZDx-4/w-d-xo.html
Linda reaccion, que tengas una gran semana
Like your reaction, it's a nice song. I can give you 3 more songs to react to Cassandra, Move On and Put on your white sombrero you will love them and it' proves how great this band was and still is
There she goes it's Boogie Dani!!! Oh and Hi Dani!
The winner takes it all is inspired by Bjorn and Agnetha’s divorce. It’s not an autobiography.
fun and simple ,thats what the world is missing today
If you notice Freida changes her hair style in almost every video….Agnienta was pretty plain as far as her hairstyle goes….changing very little…their best video visually is Dancing Queen…both hairstyles in that video was awesome….
Gran vídeo..saludos
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ from Sweden
Hi Dani. I think that you might find Dance While the Music Still Goes On by ABBA interesting. It’s one of their early songs and features equal vocals by the women and the guys. It’s always been one of my favorites. Thanks.
Hi Dani. You should do a reaction to Mamma Mia by ABBA, it’s a great song and video.
You got it!
@@DaniAtkinsonif you want to check it out Frida the brunette woman of ABBA had a One Hit Wonder in the 1980's as a solo artist the song is titled "There's Something Going On" which not only was written and produced by Phil Collins of Genesis he also played the drums on the song.
You would Love Katie Melua " I put a spell on you"
They was both couples
As for the winner takes it all, yes she sang it, but HE wrote it...tells you something..
Hi Dani just stumbled on your channel love your reactions anytime's a good time for more ABBA, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd also please have a listen to Rose Cousins Live version of Gordon Lightfoot's classic If You Could Read My Mind & Sara Bareilles Live at the Variety playhouse Atlanta doing a fantastic version of Elton John's Goodbye Yellowbrick Road. All the Best, Love & Respect Jim, Surrey, U.K X
Just wondering, Dani, if you have considered doing some reaction videos for Pat Benatar. Classically trained in Opera, her vocals were what I considered to be groundbreaking in the realm of female rockers. If you really want to talk about range, I would suggest you give a listen to Promises In The Dark ( there is a great live version out there).
PAT BENATAR is the undisputed queen of rock in the 80s!
Also check out Frida's solo work such as this with Phil Collins on Drums and Producing. th-cam.com/video/p98PjtSfNWo/w-d-xo.html
I believe the budget for making the video for this track was very small....so they had to make the best of very little. Hence it's basic feel. I'm not sure but I think they were not even thinking of making a video for this track...but when asked to...the budget was small.
ABBA used the make of videos promotionals to your singles and other songs, since 1974 with your first Worldwide hit "Waterloo"
I could be wrong guys. Love ya Dani.
couples not broken at same time
Agnetha & Björn at end 1978
Anni Frid & Benny at begin 1981
and as a group ABBA still together until the end 1982
@@eduardooscar309 Ok. I know they didn't breakup at the same time. I know the men and women didn't talk for all these years.
@@markmoscatello9461
Agnetha & Björn have two childs and obviusly been in contact, not as a couple but as a partners
Anni Frid & Benny come together to recived the ABBA introduction in "Hall of Fame Rock & roll music"
and in a premier to "Mamma Mía" musical, and other events
And all four ABBA members return together to studio in 2018 and recording new songs that wasn't realased by pandemic
but Björn said that it will be in 2021
@@eduardooscar309 ok. I didn't know they had children together. Yeah that put them in contact. I' didn't know about a new project coming. Yeah there hall of fame was made to be like they couldn't be around each other. What the media does. Thnx for the info. Much appreciated.
@@markmoscatello9461 There are number of videos of Björn and Frida especially from around the world promoting Mamma Mia, the Museum and other stuff. The whole group was there when Mamma Mia premiered in Stockholm.
