We have an M4030su that I needed to learn to drive this week. I’ve never driven a tractor. With no one in the same state to help and no videos I could find with our model, I watched your video multiple times. Between this video of an older model, the tractor manual and a FaceTime with someone who knew our tractor, I have been able to do the needed work. Thank you!

Awesome demonstration. I own an L225 just like this but with the bonus of a front loader and a cab which for this tractor mode seems like a 1 in a million. Reverse in high gear in insane for this thing.

Excellent video, keep 'em up. I was just looking for which lever was the diff lock, but it's the one you didn't, so that told me. Clear and specific directions!
Do you have the differential lock? I read in the manual about this, but it doesn't indicate where it is located or how to actuate it when 1 wheel is spinning.
There is a lever behind your right foot, stomp on it and it will lock the diff

You mentioned a PTO lever in this video, it was next to the gear shift lever. But you didn't really explain what the high & low were for on the PTO lever, as you did the high & low for the gear selector lever.

I have an L1501dt with almost identical controls, but it's 4WD and has a bunch of other dials and switches on the dash for 3PL control. Everything is in Japanese, though.

difference from a stick shift car is that its difficult to run from full stop with 5th gear on

How do you engage pto🤔🤔
With the lever in the left between your legs, once you select the speed you want let out the clutch and the pto will turn

He uses it for farming. If you understand what farming is, you'd find it hard to see a spotless tractor without a bit of muck on it. 🤦🏼
This tractor is actually quite clean considering it's in use of farm work. 👍🏼
