You are spot on about disrespect. Manners are very important but there are people who will be nice to the waiter and deliberately be nasty to a girl. I’ve been through it for 7 years. There’s a long list of people who have disrespected me, been rude to me and put me down when they could’ve avoided it.
But they didn’t avoid it. They did it repeatedly. The people who did it and participated in a psychopaths attacks against me, were people who SHOULD have protected me from his attacks but instead they participated. I can’t forgive that and never will.
It wasn’t a one off rare incident. I’ve lost my smile and laughter because of what I’ve been through. I have a straight face 24/7 and no one to talk to. No love or support in my life.
It’s true that there are people who aren’t truly themselves on the first date, either they are faking everything trying to leave the best impression, or they are just super shy and awkward, and take longer to warm up even if they have liking for the opposite party! So few more dates will be more reasonable if the person seems pleasant and kind enough for that!

Koreatown is one of my favorite places to go when I take a trip down to the city from upstate. I always make sure to book a hotel or Airbnb near there because I love the vibe and the food is always great.

I don’t understand why people (I’m specifically saying people, not just pretty girls) feel they’re entitled to something. In the case of you Jason, your date felt she was entitled to be entertained instead of making it an enjoyable experience together.
