- I done some body strength upgrades to my HPI and also made a plastic scratch plate. Upgraded the pinion gear to an 18tooth and bought a youme power 6500 4S battery

Some great mods there on the Hpi Buggy Ange, i like the middle brace you made and the bottom plate. Should go good on the slightly bigger pinion as well. Be safe mate and a big thumbs up👍 from me 🍻🇦🇺
Thanks mate.👍🏼. I had some spare aluminium rod I had lying around so I thought I’d make a brace for it. I will get a bigger pinion. I’d say a 20t should be enough. 👍🏼🚗

Late comment... But what speed does this setup give you?
I haven’t taken this one out for a speed test. But the modifications won’t change any of the speed they just to keep it more reinforced and stronger when bashing at a BMX track or picture jumps. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching👍🏼🚗

Hey Jeremy, it’s a pretty reasonable price. Great find, you will be happy with this car. If you have seen my bash videos with the HPI, it’s pretty durable. I have not broken any main parts yet and I give it heaps. The only thing is the chassis plate. A slight bend, but got it straight again. Thanks for watching. Any questions, just ask. 👍🏼🚗
