Alte Axt aus Remscheid - 1600g Kopfgewicht

Spaltaxt aus Remschied mit einem Kopfgewicht von 1600g und einer Stiellänge von 78cm. Bei der Innschrift konnte ich C. Schliehrer entziffern, habe aber keine weiteren Infos zur Axt gefunden. Geringe Keilwirkung, eher dringt der Kopf ins Holz ein. Das Einsatzgebiet der Axt ist eher das Kleinholzmachen, wo sie wie durch Butter die Stücke schneidet. Auch bei dieser Axt und dem geringen Gesamtgewicht von 2,5kg (1600g Kopf + 950g Stiel) lässt sich mühelos länger damit Kleinholz spalten. Wenn man den Kopf ab und zu schmiert bleibt dieser auch nicht im Holz stecken und schneidet die Holzscheitel sauber runter.
